Seriously, I'm not a fan. The coloring is all off. The blue, in itself, was more unique. That is why you changed the names of pets, to be unique, no? This looks like every other dog on the other pet sites.

Mmmm I really really like it. Everyone is freaked over the colors, but I adore the colors. The art is nice and fresh. Rah did a fantastic job! Congrats, I know you worked hard on this revamp. Oh and since everyone else has something to say about the eyebrows....I will too....They are so CUTE! Yay!

I'd love it if the eyebrows were up and centered a bit more or made longer =D Also, the back left paw appears broken. Perhaps if it were straightened? The tan on it needs to be darker, too. It clashes! o:

I adore the new Ruffie. I never much liked Ruffies, but, I definitely like this one. The spots are charming. and those poking fun at it's spots and "Bad anatomy", really need to quiet down. Spoiler - the originally ruffie had no prominent "thumbs", and one foot had only two "fingers". While the original Ruffie was cute, this one matches the more realistic styles that many of the Pets of today HAVE.

Also, adding "no offense to the artist" when you very rudely bash art they have worked hard on does NOT excuse it. Keep rude comments to yourself. Don't call it disgusting, because it isn't at all. It's a piece of art, and if you don't like it, there are a lot of other pets on Subeta.

Also, I <3 the eye brows. Many adorable dogs in real life have the eyebrow-looking coloration. It's cute~!

A couple of these comments are disgusting.
If the so called 'problems' with this pet have made you consider leaving Subeta, or crying for that matter, you might as well leave now. Spare us the drama for future revamps.

It looks like an actually puppy now. The original Ruffie looked awkward to me and really turned me off. I love how you made it look realistic. Just like a really puppy, it's adorable. The shading is great, something I think the original Ruffie lacked. It actually looks like fur to me now.

Out of everything, I love the color scheme. I hated the old color scheme before your revamp, Rah. I think this works nicely, even if other's disagree. The original Ruffie lacked color scheme that I viewed as appealing. The simple blue colors actually looked, for lack of a better word, boring. This color scheme doesn't. It seems to draw me into the spots on the Ruffie's back, the ears, and the adorable eyebrows. Everything use to blend in on the original.

Don't see much "wrong" with it, despite everyone's saying that a lot of it is disproportional. What I see might be "wrong" is the angle the paw is in, but it adds to the playfulness so it doesn't count. 8D The lefty ear looks a little awkward but it's not like it's taking away from the utter adorable Ruffie you've drawn Rah.

Now I want one and it looks like I will.

I was just thinking that the Ruffie needed a revamp. I love this, although I must agree with the people saying that that front right paw looks backwards. And those ears are a bit too far back on the head, especially the left one.

Aside from that, I LOVE it. Especially the shading on the torso, and I'm also swooning over the anatomy on the back left paw. It's wonderful! I even like the eyebrows, because as others have said, some dogs (like dachshunds, dobermans, and the aforementioned bernese mountain dog) do indeed have eyebrow-ish markings on them. Really, I was never a big fan of the ruffie, so I can't say this will affect me much whether the revamp wins or not. Forgive me Rah, for I know you mentioned that you worked very hard on this. But in my opinion, it doesn't really look like the same species at all anymore. Mind you, I'm rather biased, as I have a deep loathing for dogs with that ear style. (I know it's not THEIR fault, but they just always make me think of old grannies. :/) They seem to make the head look a little wide, and it reminds me of a football. HOWEVER! The shading is quite lovely, and I commend you for trying to do something different.

I really agree with T3h_Oukiee's line drawing, it seems to work better that way. So really, my only real complaint is about those dang ears. I think the colur scheme is actually sort of nice, now that I look it over a few times.

Hmm... I've posted once already and contemplating what I've said, I think the color scheme and ears would look better like this:

The purple outline is a suggestion for how the ear could be placed. And I think with the light, light blue the eyebrow looks a lot more harmonious and less out of place and dominant.

This is just my opinion mind.

I'm not a huge fan of the new coloring & I liked the more playful/dynamic pose of the original.

It is an improvement as far as aesthetics are concerned, but it's not as cute as it used to be.

The eyebrows are very weird. DX They don't fit with the face. The ears are not cute any more either. Also that paw is at a strange angle.

I also miss the old style color scheme. This one is just blotchy. The dark blue and the brown don't work AT ALL.

Also that shade of brown is kind of nasty. it almost has a green tint to it.

Tell you the truth. If this was the new one, I'd change my ruffie. It's just lost all that I loved about the old ruffie. including the old colors.

I have said this before, but I will say it again. The Ears! Part of the reason I liked the ruffie in the first place was because it looked like a happy little puppy.

The body of this new revamp is fine, but for goodness sakes fix the ears! I want them to look like the old ruffie with one higher than the other. The ears on the new one are way too low on the head.

The size of the eyes are fine, but there is something about the expression that makes it look sadder than the old one.

I still don't like the eyebrows, but I agree that something needs to be there. Maybe if you made the eyebrows wider across its face.

As long as the galactic ruffie is left alone I'll be fine. If you guys change my galactic ruffie then I will take all of your cake!

I really like it, however, the paw thats lifted up does look awkwardly placed and I'm not too fussy on the colours. (I think a cream colour would go better for the spots.) Aside from that, its nice.

I like this revamp.The only problem I have is the colors.I think Clockwork did a nice job with the common blue.I know you won't change it back that way.I'm just saying the colors need to be tweaked.

Other than that I think the picture is nice. =]

I think that if the left ear was moved over a bit, it'd be perfect. The eyebrows don't bother me anymore if the ears were done like that. If that was done, I would absolutely love this revamp c:

Woow it's very different. I like the pose a lot, the art is great. I really have no problem with it except that I think the brown would be much nicer if it was darker, much like the edit below. Other than that I think it looks great.

Rant: I love this Ruffie. It's cute, but there are flaws as many others have said. I personally think that the colours could be improved. I love the eyebrows! At first I hated them and thought they were too short, but now I realise they are perfect! WEll done Rah! To all of those who have unrespectfully insulted a wonderful artist, you should all be ashamed of yourself. Write it in a politeful comment and go on your way! The colours will not stay like that, you will colour them with elixirs and potions and I'm beginning to wonder if any of you rude people (Only the minority of Subetas wonderful community!!) even own a Ruffie! I don't but I would deffinitly get rid of one of my pets now for one!

What what what? No! That isn't a Ruffie... Is it?

I dunno, my first reaction was that I hated it. But now that I look at it carefully, I'm not sure any more. It's cute, anatomy is great, the tail is super floofy.

I noticed that the eyes are a little closer together than the old Ruffie. That threw me off. The colouring is kinda unnecessary, like on the suggested Serpenth revamp a while back. If it was one uniform colour I'd like it better. Or at least if the markings were, say, both brown. Too much contrast here. The paw also looks wierd, perhaps it could be fully "grounded" like the older one.

Just some suggestions. But still I'm doubtful. Can't put my finger on it though. So I'm not voting for this, but I hope my suggestions, and some of the others regarding the ears, are heard.

Ok, so this is probably way too late/no one's going to look at it but I personally love the revamp. The colour scheme threw me off a bit at first, but I decided that the only thing I'd change about the colours was to make the brown a bit darker (please excuse quick/bad editing)

Oh. And Yes, I do agree with Bananasmash, that the ear should be moved forward a tad bit.

Also, hopefully the colour could be edited a tad bit. Other then that and the comments in my previous post, this is a great redraw.

Hmm.
Mixed Feelings on this one.

I'm liking the detail in this revamped version.
But I don't really like the paw that is lifted up, the angle of it looks awkward and painful.

I love the expression! The face is just very very cute (I prefer the face of this one to the other one personally).
The spots are VERY cute, however I don't think these two colours match very well. ><

I don't think this brown goes with the blue, but other than that I think the revamp is really cute. :3 read that there'd been some changes to this one due to the suggestions, so wonder how it'll look like now. X) Great work still. Nice to see the pets who really need a revamp is finally getting one

Not too enthusiastic about this one, Ruffies do hold a place in my heart as it was the first pet I ever had on Subeta (the beta stage of the site, that's going back a while XD), but I suppose in time it will grow on me like all the other revamps have. I think the only thing that looks odd to me is the left-hand side (our right) ear. BananaSmash some posts below me showed what I was thinking too in terms of positioning for that ear. Other than that, I'll give it time at this stage

I see what you mean about the ears. It would cut back on the broadness of the head too. Still I like the overall look. I do wonder what the Cream version will look like, since the cream pets are all oversaturated versions of these same colors

I love the look, and the spots. It's just that brown that doesn't quite fit. Half of the Ruffie's cuteness came from their light-blue coloring. The brown just seems very out of place.

I'm not really...well, I usually don't complain about the revamps, but I have a few comments on this.

For one, I don't think that shade of brown and that shade of blue really /mix/. Something just looks wrong about it. Maybe if you replaced the blue with a redish-brown or white it may look better.

Also the eyes...scare me...o_O A lot. They just look really, I don't know, dull. Not enough shading.

The pose is nice though <3
