I don't really mind the eyebrows. I don't even see em as eyebrows really, more like the colored spots some dogs have above their eyes, like the picture Gewitter posted.
Or maybe I'm just so used to the eye spots that they just seemed natural, I am around a lot of dogs in my life. Works at a shelter

Body = perfect. It looks like a fat wobbly puppy! ^^

Head = not so perfect. Its melon-shaped, and the face looks a bit flat and wide, like a pancake. And for the love of God, get rid of the Groucho Marx eyebrows!

Other than that, its a good revamp.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I like it because the art is better. I do think the eyebrows are a bit short and the tail seems off place. I am no artist but the ruffie does need the revamp

Ugh, so not a fan of the spots and colored ears... but I do agree that it needs a revamp.

Hmm. Making the eyes a tad larger might cut back on the problems people are having with the face/head.. :'D Just a suggestion.

Ears: Excellent! Teeth: Excellent! Eyebrow dots: I like 'em! Paws: Awesome, even with the claws, which I could take or leave. Back leg: Looking a little weird and wobbly. Tail: Looks a little like it's coming from the Ruffie's right butt cheek rather than the centre of its back. Easily fixed by moving the little bit of line that's visible between the ear floofs. Overall: Adorable.

I ment shame not same earlier

I like the claws and the eyebrows. Our golden retriever does brilliant sad eyes that could only be achieved due to her 'eyebrow' movement. Plus if the ruffie didn't have eyebrows then his forehead might be a bit big.

btw what happened to the aerie revamp?

I agree that the legs look odd and I'm not a fan of the eyebrows. The thing that throws me off the most, though is the size of the ears.

Initial reaction: OMG I THINK I AM GOING TO THROW UP.

xDD (Haven't read any comments yet, but I get SO NERVOUS to see my pets polled!)

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

And again: I love the new Ruffie ! Kudos to the artist who drew it^^

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I don't think the "eyebrows" looks odd because they remind me of the little spots over they eyes like some dogs have (I don't know the correct english word for it, sorry^^ But here is a picture of a Bernese Mountain Dog with them:

I hope the picture works^^

hmmm maybe try it without the eyebrows?

I forgot to mention it in my first post, but I do think the pet would be more attractive without the claws. I realize you should be able to see them, but they look a little wierd (and probably would no matter how they were drawn). Overall though, I wouldn't mind seeing this revamp go through ASAP, as it is. XD I'd actually get one. That idea had never crossed my mind with the former version.

I agree, eyebrows. Maybe if they were just a shade darker than the base fur? But having blue eyebrows reminds me of Groucho Marx without the glasses or cigar.

I'm sort of weirded out by the "eyebrow" spots (they remind me of Groucho Marx), but I like how the design of the pet has been matured somewhat. It's strange seeing that shade of blue with that shade of tan, though...

I think the right foreleg should be turned a little more to face us, like in the direction the hind leg is facing. It seems to be facing inward, making the pet seem bowlegged.

The legs are what I'm having a little trouble with - specifically, the angle of the raised paw and the fact that you can only see the tip of the paw at the back. Looks a little odd. Otherwise it's adorable squish

I like the shape, but not the color so much :/ He looks like he was playing in the mud. The eyebrows are.. a little strange. They're the first thing I see when I look at it.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

eyebrows ? They make it look like an old man...I don't like them, but everything else seems fine...a lot different and not so cute anymore...more dog like instead of puppy like...

It's really pretty. o__o Wow, I never thought I'd say that about a Ruffie. I always despised them as a species, and I found their expressions to be somewhere between annoying and creepy. XD But I think this one is really, really nice; I love how it looks like a realistic dog. I wouldn't mind seeing the basic color all in blue, as a lot of people are calling for, but I like it in brown. Natural colors FTW. I can't wait to see it in Cream, either way. ^^

The ears and tail are the best part - especially the taill. n__n -hugs it-

I love the revamp, it is soo cute and cuddly.. but the eyebrows kind of turn me off a bit... but the rest is a trillion times better than the old one, and now I have to get one XD

I like the new version of the Ruffie but am not too sure about the spots. He looks really cute and if it were real would love him as my dog.

Haha, That's such a surprising result of the revamp! I love it! =D
But I got to say that the tail doesn't look centered.... A bit to much to our left =(
Other then that I love it! XD
Lovely details and shading! kudos to the artist! x3

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

I agree the eyebrows are scary, not bad, just scary. I actually know a few dogs with marking just like that, along with a marking on the back of their neck like a bandana. I forget what the breed is called, but the marks really are right where eyebrows would be.

The back right foot bugs me, and I liked the lighter tips on the old Ruffie's ears, but... I don't care. That poor thing needed a revamp almost as bad as the Hipposaru does and I think this one is a massive improvement. I'm glad to see he's staying a puppy too.

Wow, the one revamp I actually have a personal opinion about XD

Totally honest, I'm not really sold on it. Not because of the art, or it's drawn like poo or whatever excuse people usually use for hating a revamp. It just looks way.. different.

My main quarrel with it, is the legs are shorter, the ears are much larger then the head.. and the spots @ The legs I can probably grow to deal with, seeing as those + the ears are seeming to give the ruffie a more real dog feel (I'm seeing spaniel, but I could be wrong) as well as the ears. But the spots, kill me. Maybe if it was going along with the old common color (Blue base, white markings, or visa versa) but I'm.. sad. Alot of me is sad over the color choice, and what this'll mean for the other colors of the ruffie.

It looks great! The only thing that made me go, "hm" was the coloring. Not the colors, but the shading/highlighting. But that's just me, and other than that it's fantastic.

EYEBROWS! The colors are what threw me off. These are suppose to be the common ones? Now if it was say, cream that'd be fine.

Wow, this is so.. different. I was a bit shocked at first. xD
I can't help but laugh at the eyebrows. It makes me think of women with these really weird, way too plucked/waxed eyebrows.
Not a fan of the colors, either. :/
I'm not really sure how I feel about the rest of it, since it's so different. It's nice, and I don't feel right voting for the old one either, but.. I don't know if I like this one, tbh. Something about the face is kind of off for me. This may sound kind of weird, but something about the ears make the whole thing look kind of.. wide. Just something that's kind of strange to me.

Overall it's cute, though. It'll just take some time to get used to.

The revamp looks like it needs a revamp. The eyebrows are strange, and the face looks like a piece of cardboard, rather stiff and fake. It also strongly resembles one of those fat annoying lapdogs.

As long as the Chibi Ruffie is not touched, I'm not really fussed one way or another.

Wow...I said minion instead of minor. I wish there was a edit button XD

Ohh, I forgot to add I'm also not that sold on the color. Its cute don't get me wrong, but its a far departure from the blue of the original and I think the blue should have been kept.

Aww, I like how it reminds me of several different dog breeds at once. I hope that the other colours will reflect that if the revamp goes through.

anatony-wise, that one tiny little dark line coming up along his back right leg should stop after the fluff line, but it's the only thing I see. He's very cute, for a dog Great job! Looks like he's saying "You KNOW you wanna play"

Ahaha, love the eyebrows. The markings are nice too. Maybe it could look a little happier, though? In the overly -excited puppy style of the current ruffie.

I'm not a great fan of the ruffie, so I'll still probably never get one but the revamp is pretty impressive.
