The paw thats up looks a little strange to me, and the colors = might I suggest making the blue ears and spots a tinge lighter? Other than that it's terrific. I voted for new even though, 'cause overall it's awesome!

The front paw. It does not bend like that, not on a puppy/superfatdog, whichever one a Ruffie is. Also it's right (our left) ear bothers me, too huge maybe. Color scheme.. Well. It looks like a browngreyish dog has been playing in a blue paint puddle. The eyes are also too vibrant, they stand out and remind me of the eyes of a Barbie doll or something. Good job otherwise, it's not a cardboard cutout, it's not plastic. That's definitely an improvement.

I like the pose and shading of this ruffie a lot more than what we have right now; though I have to agree that the tail placement seems a bit off.

I like the sleet-blue/blond combo personally, but I'm, not sure it's what the ruffie needs. Maybe just make the spots darker like some others have suggested? And the eye brow markings throw me off a bit. I can see some nice shading beneath them that suggest the eye brows, and I think it'd be easier to see and alot more pleasing to the eye without the blue splotches on them.

But all in all, it's very nice ^^

The art is lovable, but the colors have me a tidbit worried being an owner of two and soon-to-be four Ruffies that are based on their colors.

I like it. Works much better than the original in terms of detail. The paws, tail, ears etc. all look great.

One complaint, however, its too much like a real dog. I think the blue from the original should be better represented. Maybe the new blue spots should be lighter, or keep them dark, but have an overall bluish tinge to the cream and brown areas.

Well it's definitely an improvement, but I too find the eyebrows kinda weird. Something about the legs seems off as well, especially the lifted one.
I also have to wonder why the cute little Ruffie has claws, but pets like the Telenine and Kumos don't? The lack of claws on canine pets has always bugged me, but I don't understand why this one was chosen to have claws all of the sudden.

I like ClockworkReverie's redraw a lot, it fixes most of the problems.

It takes away the cuteness of the old ruffie, and wow those eyebrows! I like this one a lot better though, because the old one was fake, and almost to cute (though im sure thats what people liked about it) def voting for the revamp.

ohhh wow last night i was looking through the adopt a pet thing and thought the ruffie was in need of a revamp, then this the next day... shakes head

it looks far better, but the eyebrows are a bit dodgy, they should be a bit longer. there is a white bit there where the eyebrows should be. did someone shave them off or something?

MUCH better than the current version (not that that's exactly hard, mind you)... but the raised paw looks as if it's been broken and didn't heal properly. Please let this be tweaked before it's finalized?

Wow, this is much better than the old Ruffie.
But. Um. The eyebrows scare me. ;o; They remind me of the grandpa's eyebrows, which are CATERPILLARS. :C Eek.

I like that the Ruffie now has 'personality', but the eyebrows are... creepy. '____' Change the outstretched paw so it looks more like a paw, and make the eyebrows a better color, and possibly change the eyes to the blue fur color or the blue fur to the eye color (or perhaps get a more traditional Cream color scheme [is this even supposed to be cream?!]), and it'll took better

OH MY GOSH THAT IS THE CUTEST THING! I am so glad I have one! I might just change the color I used on him (right now he is Graveyard) if the revamp makes some of the other potions look better.

I like the style of drawing and overall it certainly looks better (more in keeping with the current Subeta style & more realistic and detailed). There are two things I don't like about the revamp: The color scheme is more muted, and the expression just doesn't seem as happy as the previous version.

Looking at ClockworkReverie's mock-up: I like the original paw positions better, but the rotated eyebrow are golden! Just flipping the eyebrows opens up the face and gives it that happy "Wanna be friends?!" expression that I associate with dogs.

I think the head is a little too round, and the eyebrows should be spaced a bit further so it looks more innocent, rather than slightly evil now xD

Otherwise I love it, love the colours and wow the Ruffie finally looks like a dog! =D

Btw I'll never understand why people complain so much about the common colours... I've yet to more than one or two people that ever keep their pets common on purpose... most of the time pets are common while they await their owner to earn some kind of potion.

i actually really like this revamp and not much critique for it.

i like the fact that it has 'personality'. it looks prehistoric and has kept its cutesy image.

Finnaly, the Ruffie's time for it's revamp, and it looks waaaaaaays better than the old one. The current shading styl is totally amazing, all the pet's who doesn't have it must be revamped like this. ;3 The eyebrows are disapointing me. I don't like dog's with eyebrows. And the color looks realism (except the ears), the blue one was better for a Subeta pet. But absolute love it now. =)

I /really/ like the idea of making the spots a darker brown like some people have suggested and maybe changing the eyes to a brownish color. Common really leans towards brown in my mind and I cannot recall another color that does, so.. C;

Well, no, it really wasn't. I've been working on revamping the Ruffie for MONTHS AND MONTHS AND MONTHS. I've conducted various user research, talked to many people, and tried many different versions of the Ruffie. Just so you know n__n

I love the pose, but the eyebrows are weird, the color scheme is weird, and I'm not a fan of the new markings. When I saw the markings, I immediately thought "Telenine." What's with making all the common pets brown and dark blue all of a sudden?
The Ruffie really does need a revamp, but I'm not entirely convinced that this should be it.

Yanno, I can't speak for the artist, but whenever I see comments like, "This sucks, it looks rushed" with no actual substantial critiques or reasoning behind it, I tend to ignore what the person said.

The eyebrows would look better if they were curved, not just two little ovals above his eyes. His legs are disproportionate, they should be a little longer... other then that, I love it. The colors and markings are great, and the face is adorable!

Its Cute, I like it. Way cuter colors on the new one. Why not just keep the old but put the new colors on it. The old one does have better features. But the new one has the best colors. Put a little pep in that step pup!! LOL

Reminds me of the burnese mountain dog.

The left ear could use tweeking but that is it. great work to the artist.
