Hi. I haven't mucked about with them much yet - but I know that now people are getting the "You can't join more than 15 groups!" Alert which is absurd as most of us are members of way more than that. I don't like how you can't separate which groups you're a part of and which groups you own.

Basically I'm not a huge fan but really the limitation on joining the group, the fact that this is "The new cult system" and the lack of separation is what I really do not enjoy.

Yeah, neither am I. I just went to join someone's CW group and it won't let me and I am in about 45 groups so I'm not leaving 31 of them anytime soon just to join another group. So I pretty much hate this stupid limit. It makes no sense as to why there is a limit because frankly we should be able to join as many groups as we want, I know it's because it's probably replacing cults, but I really don't like it to be like that. And I agree, groups you make should be separate from groups you're in. If they want to have a limit on how many groups you make, I understand that but there shouldn't be a limit to how many you can join.

I really hope they change this. I'm in way more than 15 groups. I thought there was a mistake yesterday when I saw that alert so I left one group thinking maybe that would do something and it still didn't work so I thought,,ohkay, I guess this is a real thing. As someone with multiple interests I don't even know how to DO subeta with 15 or less groups.. O.O I'm in ones for art, writing, pets, friends, giveaways, sales, art, restocking (sbq, tsr), graphics, roleplaying, subeta-run groups like testing and site updates, and then the million of cw groups. And really the only way to get alerts for new cw items is to join that person's group.

Groups are pretty much the best and easiest way for people to communicate to a multitude of users, please don't restrict this aspect of the site :)

I actually went to join your lazy pet people group earlier but it was like YOU'RE IN 15 GROUPS GTFO and I was too lazy to wade through the 30+ CW groups I'm in to leave so I just internally got pissy about it instead.

I can understand limiting people to owning 15 groups (less than that even, that's a lot to keep up with geeze), but only being in 15 is like why even have forum groups anymore. Please change it back to letting me be in as many groups as I want ;__;

I'm hoping this is a bug from pushing the new system over, but please fix soon? My count shows I'm in 248 groups and I'm not about to unjoin 233 of them xD For CWs alone this would make things impossible!

Um, no, this just isn't going to work at all.

I'm in about 50 ping groups. Some just to ping to something (subq, siteupdates, testing, hustler), some directly related to my cult, some friends ping groups for what interests them (games, giveaways) and individual artists groups for when they have new items/open slots or whatever.

Fifteen is not going to work. If forum groups become the new cults, then ping groups need to be something else so we still have the ability to ping people to threads outside of cult related things.

If this is the new "Cults" then ping groups need to be made something separate. Because just following specific subeta only groups fills me up completely.

They've got to be kidding! No way can we get along with 15 groups. That just doesn't make sense. I have way more than that and I'm not into art or CWs. I can't imagine those who are getting along with only 15. The point of ping groups has nothing to do with cults. I hope there is some rethinking of this.

Oh I lied. It's 108 ping groups. Even less likely I'ma wade through them xD

If ping groups are the new cults, though, this doesn't make any sense and needs to be a new thing and not replacing something that people have been using for an entirely different purpose. YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE THE BROOM AND CALL IT A MOP NOW, OKAY. Make new "cult!groups" or something (which who needs to join 15 cults?? That's just overkill and who can dedicate enough time to 15 groups of people?? 5 should be the max) and leave ping groups alone.

gasp oh no! I'm not particularly social or a huge presence in the forums but I think I'm in over 15 groups. Close to it at least and every big event there is a new group of two to help keep current with..

Joining the choir of NOPE. This is an awful idea, staffers. What are you thinking?! Ping groups do not need to be so limited.

xD Only 15? That is way too small a number. I'm in 136 groups. I can understand limiting the amount of groups we can create for ourselves, but not the amount we're allowed to be in.

Joining the 'this was a bad idea'-club. There are ping groups for loads of things and limiting the amount of groups you can join (and even worse, setting the limit to such a low amount!) is just ... not working. Groups like the hustler, token shop, cash shop, subeta, sideupdate ... wait, that's like 30 % of the groups we can now join!

That's a weird choice - why? (& How is this supposed to be replacing cults? By just letting people congregate on a public board and drag members here or there with the group ping system?)

The most ridiculous restriction on Subeta to date. Please do something about it and the rule concerning creating more than five in an account's lifetime, I believe it is. Even if some are deleted.
