Wait ... what?

Putting a restriction of the amount of groups you can own at least makes sense to me, but five .... in an account's lifetime? And deleted groups count?! Even warnings expire :/

DAMN... I'm in 100+ groups... I think I need to delete a tad.

i really liked the look/functionality of the new forum group thing when it was in testing. but it should have stayed there - in testing. this is absolutely ridiculous. it would be nice to have an explanation from any member of staff on why you all decided on a 15-group limit. CWs are sold on the forums and there are dozens of shops with different ping groups. it is horribly unfair that people would have to pick and choose which shops they wanted to follow. what purpose does that limit serve besides simply limiting users' choices and freedom? i can understand the creation limit, i really can. it stops people from flooding subeta with useless and spammy ping groups (the account lifetime limit, however, is laughable and dumb). but only joining 15…? how am i supposed to advertise my art and have new people join my forum groups? how am i supposed to keep up with people who have new CW shops? what if someone is holding a contest or event, and has a ping group so people can stay in the loop? i'm sorry, but this is fucking ridiculous. if you want to limit the amount of ping groups that exist, just get off your bums and work on coding customizable CW Shop store fronts that people can "follow" with a different system. on the other hand, don't. instead, let's focus on aspects of the site that actually need fixing!

also, when i click a ping group, it sends me to the home page for pings. why. this is dumb, guys.

not every function of the website needs to be changed and revamped.

Only 15 groups? YOu've got to be shitting me. Just NO. Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of.

Just another thing to show how clearly out of touch some of the people that are running this site are with the desires of the players that fund this site.

Pretty much exactly what I was going to write here last night. It's obvious that whoever made this decision doesn't actively play in the way that a regular user would. Anyone who does would have known better than to make the max such an incredibly small number. Then again, I think making making groups into the new cults is an awful idea in itself. Why does the token shop ping group need a bank and whatnot? Just don't understand any of it. Groups =/= cults. They're different things that are trying to be made into the same thing.

This is total crap. Owning 15 groups max yes I am ok with that, but only being in 15 is total BS!

Also if these are replacing cults, that is fine, but do not put on a limit of how many we can join, that is just crazy talk. I don't get the reasoning behind this....so maybe someone can enlighten us, but I do know personally I am not a fan of this. I have been pretty understanding with all of the other changes, but this one makes no sense. You want us to use the forums more, well this is a step in the wrong direction. This will not work.

Apparently, yes, because if I go in and try to create another group (I've made five, three of which died), I then get an error saying I can't create more.

I can understand it from the prospect of people just making groups to spam but you can fix that easily with putting a limit on how long between deleting groups you have to wait.

Also how do you guys even see how many groups you're in? D: Every time I go to groups - my groups, there's nothing there. I know damn well I was in multiple groups. Did they take them away from me...?

I really hope this is some kind of bug, because if it isn't I'm actually really worried about the fact that someone thought it would be a good idea to limit ping groups...

I buy CWs pretty regularly and I'm in a whole bunch of ping groups. When I get more pings for pretty items, I tend to spend more money on the site. I know I'm definitely not the only one who mainly buys CWs when they get pinged to them. Does the site not need money anymore?

I discovered this because i accidentally left a group i didn't mean to, went and tried to rejoin it and told me "you can only join 10 groups!"

Also in regards to my last post, it wasn't my customcss. :( I removed it and it still shows I'm in no groups on that page. However, when I search for a group I know I'm in, like the token shop ping group, it give me the option to leave that group. So I guess I am still in groups, it just won't show me which ones. :x

The fact that groups have been combined with cults is stupid anyway.

Maybe this is staff's new way to get money, charge us CSC to join more groups?
