For starters, I love the shading and the wings. Now for criticism.

Please return the eye color to green
The muzzle looks a bit small
The feet.... Look strange, but I don't know what to say about them
It needs more curve in its body posture

I like the old one better... the new one conveys of sense of feeling much older, and I personally think that the expression on the old version of the Torrey is more open and friendly. It also looks fluffier (yay... fluff!) and I think the lighter colors look better for a Torrey.

I just have to say that I love the proportions on ET's redline, they are quite an improvement, and do indeed make it look cuddlier and cute I voted for the new one btw because of the quality of the art.

Ohh, scratch that, I saw ET's redline, and I love the nose on it. very simple changes that work well. little changes like that coupled with the lovely work of the original artist would be wonderful in my opinion.

I love the detail but I'd like it a bit more fluffier since it does look quite thin and a bit out of proportion. The feet are alittle..just kinda of random and not much to them and I wish for a bit more fluff on the nose. And I would like the eyes to be green still.

I love the face, and I think the artist did a great job. I just want to suggest a fuller nose for the face. The small nose resembles a squirrel to me, when I love that this pet was more of a fox.

The body is fine, but I would love to see some bigger fluffy feetz. Right now they seem a bit small to support all that fluff and weight.

Nose sample like this: Please disregard the pose, Ariel pointed out it's much too similar to another pet. But I love a fluffy foxy look.

Either way, I think that revamp does look much better than the original, especially the shading, it's so very lovely.

Honestly, I love Jag's work. But this, this kind of scares me. It's head is oddly shaped: the cheeks are too wide looking, the wings color are quite distracting and out-of-place. Also, I really don't see the point in changing the pets eye color. Green was perfectly fine in my opinion. And the smile it a little to wide for my tastes.

I love the new wings, but I thought the old faces were cuter, personally.

More than that, I was reminded of how the Neopets staff re-drew all of their pets, and I'm afraid of redraws. We, as Subeta (or neo, I guess) users, chose our pets because we liked them the way they were. I think it's dangerous to redraw ANY pet. I'm worried that the Montres will be redrawn and then I won't like my pet.

So, in summary, I'm against redraws altogether, but for this particular redraw, love the new wings, love the old faces.

I really like what was done with the new Torrey. I do however love the eyes and the wings.. But would love the feet to be a bit different, perhaps how AcaciaKumori redid it. That would look very nice. All-in-all, great job! I hope this stays. I'm lovin' it... Possibly just as much as McDonalds.

This is absolutely beautiful. c: I did like the green eyes a little better, but this shade of blue looks nice. The feet appear a little small to me, but I'll let it slide. Overall, I still come to my first statement. Kudos to the artist on a wonderful revamp.

Something about the bottom half bothers me.

I liked it on the old one, where it seemed more.. innocent-ish, with how the feet were posed. And the face seems kind of small on this one. Though, I do love the eyes/hair on this one.

As quite a few people liked my suggestion, I did another one, trying to fix the wing/arm thing, but I'm not too happy with it! But the nose is pink again!

I absolutely LOVE the revamped Torrey and it's ADORABLE Who feet! I don't CARE what color it's eyes or wings are. xD The only think I think COULD use fixing, not SHOULD, would be the muzzle. It looked a little low to me and the smiles really big and almost creepy. xD So here's my version of it with the snout just slightly moved and it's smile less wide. Of course this is just a MINOR thing and not really that big of a deal. Other than that it's absolutely perfect. c:

I believe the Torrey really did need a revamp, and this is a very good start, but I must agree with some of the users that the wings should stay brown and the eyes should stay green. The purple wings are very dark on my screen and it is hard to make out the details. I also noticed that the revamped slimmed down the Torrey quite a bit from it's chubby counterpart, and I believe that is why some people find the proportions of the new one unsatisfying and not very cute and cuddly.

I created a redline of all the areas that bugged me personally, and nobody has to agree with it, but I hope it helps or inspires the artist to fix the trouble areas most users are complaining about.

I liked the old color for the eyes and wings. Well, I guess the eyes can stay this color, but the violet wings just don't seem to fit right. The legs and feet look longer and skinnier than the old. Shorter and thicker add to cuteness, but I'm not the artist here, so do what you like x3

I agree with what many people have said about the narrowness of the muzzle, the neck, and the blue eyes. I think the lower body would be improved (which is to say, more ''Torrey-like'') if the legs were less vertical and if both the thighs and belly were scruffier. The Torrey has a very scruffy look, with fluffy fur shown all over it. This revamp not only changes the leg shape, but it really smooths out the fir on the belly and makes it seem a bit less fluffy on the thighs. I can really see how people think it looks too anthro.

I still love the silky, fluffy looking tail though. The Torrey looks like it'd be oh so comfortable curled up in it.

Well the torry is kind of like a subetafied fox in my mind so i thinnk the artiest shou make the muzzle more dog like maybe make the wings more bigger and the eyes more dog like. also the feet and paws bug me.

Hmm, I do have to say that the feet look a little odd...idk....I personally think they need to look more like claws. The wings are also a little off...perhaps the artist may want to color them the same color as the eyes.

Yus, I think the eyes would be better not being blue...I'm not sure what other color they could be, I certainly do like the wing color, though.;o The feet remind me of the grinch or some other Dr. Seuss foot...I don't mind them, but maybe you could emphasize that it has toes...if it does...O__O; Finally, it does look a little off in proportions, I mean, if it were human, a foot, hand, and head would be roughly the same size...so i think that's just my issue, I dunno.. I don't mind it, though.c: It's not really a bad revamp..^^

I agree about the left wing, should be a little higher. I liked the original green eyes too. Besides that (and even with that) its definitely nice though, great job ^.^

Ok, personally I have really, really wanted to see the Torrey re-vamped. I love my Torrey and have been waiting to see what the amazing artists here can do to make him even better.

I really like the tail and wings on the proposal. I think the color and detail on the wings is lovely and the big floofy tail is one of the reasons I loved the Torrey species to begin with. I adore their foxish quality.

However, the new pose looks awkward to me for some reason. I miss the chubbier legs of the old look. Also if you really look at the old pet, the muzzle is actually sort of small, but somehow the new facial expression seems squished to me. I wish the snout were just slightly larger and that face was... elongated somehow. The eyes seem too large with the new angle even though they don't seem much larger than the older versions when you place them side by side. I also wonder how the other eye colors will be affected. I love my Kleos' lovely purple eyes and would hate to see that change on the Dusk version of the pet.

I love the shading of the new pet and really appreciate that the Torrey is finally getting some attention and retooling. However at this time I decided to go with the old look as the proposal seems just a little too caricature-ish. I think the artist did a nice job, there are just a few things I really wish would be re worked a little before we made the switch to a new look. Kleos was made to be a Dusk Torrey and I hope to keep loving his look for the next two and half years as much as I have the last two and a half.

I question why the wings are purple. It seems to throw off the character. Why not color the wings the color of the eyes, maybe a shade lighter?

It's a nice revamp but it seems awkward in comparison to the fist one. The body is too long, in my opinion. The arms/legs/neck are out of proportion slightly to the rest of the body. Also, I think the eyes should be kept the same color as the original. And lastly, the hair tuft looks almost like a bad comb-over (LOL). Place it in the middle of the head or somehow make it obvious that it has been swept to the side. Besides those three things, I think the revamp will be preferable to the older version.

I think the new revamp looks great...maybe a different eye color though...I think the blue kinda gets lost. Only other thing I would maybe change is the feet...at the moment he has very clubby almost "grinch" like feet. Sorry but thats the only thing I could think to relate his feet to =P Maybe give him toes or something.
