The art here is obviously technically better. The shading is lovely. I love the big fluffy tail and the cute ears. I like the feet and the wide furry hands, although they don't seem to fit Subeta's general style. This torrey is a lot more cartoony than most pets and a little too anthro for me; it looks more like a person in a fursuit than a pet, which creeps me out a little.

I really don't like the face; I find it too wide and the muzzle too small. The neck is also awfully skinny. Also, I always thought of the torrey as being more fox-like than squirrel-like -- the older one had a more canine muzzle -- and this one looks like a squirrel, which isn't really necessary when we have the popoko. Like others have said, the wings are cute but look like they're attached to the arms.

I think I'd like this a lot if it looked more like the reborn, which is definitely my favorite, or the galactic... and a little more like a fox.

I preferred the old eye color, and this does look a little.. weird.. but it's certainly better than the old version. I love the detail.

I think the problem is.... the new torry is an other pet. The old is more like a fox, he has a wide smirk and... I allways think its the funny fox- montre is more realism. The new torry is more than a squirrel. The mouth is smaler, the pet looks more sweet than smart.

OK, first of all i want to say that i LOVE this revamp, but there is one thing taht i would change. Personally, i think that the feet should be a little more paw-like because they look a bit like the feet off of some furry creature in a Dr. Seuss book, you may not agree, but its just my opinion ^^

I like the new one a lot better. I was reading yesterday, and I do agree that the eyes should stay green and the wings should maybe lighter or a "tan" color. But....that being said I think it is extremely cute!

First thing I want to say is a big sorry to Jag and all the other artists, there were really some offending comments last time. You're doing awesome art and everyone knows and should respect it that not everything can be perfect on the first try! Thanks for giving us the option to say our opinion!

Pros: I really love the ears, the whole shape of the head, the fur on the head covering one eye, the front paws and the tail. The coloring and shading is outstanding and a huge improvement.

Contras: The pose looks very stiff to me, almost stuffed how it's standing there like an old cowboy. The old version has always given me the impression that it is walking somewhere or somehow captured in a slow movement. In addition it would be great if the detail from the front paws would be used on the back paws as well, please let it have some toes. Apart from that I would really like to see the old colour of the wings and eyes, I guess you had your reasons to change it, but I liked it on them. I've always seen Torreys as little foxes and foxes have golden-yellow eyes, sometimes even greenish. The muzzle should be a bit longer and wider and the nose a bit bigger to make the face look more harmonious. Have you tried out a black nose instead of the pink one? Maybe it might look better... And, last, but not least I think it's tummy is a bit to glossy and flat, a bit more flesh and fur there wouldn't hurt!

For now I'll have to vote the old one because I feel like it's lovely characteristics got lost in this version, I'm sorry!

I like the idea of the Torrey appearing more 'adult', but the big-head style doesn't appeal to me, personally, and the wings look a bit... detached from the body. The snout is a little off through my eyes, as well.

/Shrugs.

Other than that, great work Jag. The art and coloring are all amazing, and I do look forward to seeing some revamped special colors.

I love foxes, so this new version is much more foxy to me. I also loved the green eyes on the other one, but I think violet would be an interesting look with the new wings, and would allow them to blend a bit more without being overly matchy-matchy. I really think the foreshortened muzzle is cute, and contributes to the sassy look. This does not look feminine at all to me; quite the opposite. (I'm even considering getting one now, and I wouldn't have picked that pet before.) Great job overall, Jag!

I like it although it looks a bit too...fluffy? Shaggy? But it looks MUCH better than the older one; the shading is great and I like the proportions much better.

the art is much better quality than the original but thee are two points that in my opinion lessen this pet's appeal *the wings should be recolored and repositioned *the legs and muzzle are too thin too lanky

Honestly, I prefer the old version. One of the main reasons why I chose to have a Torrey as a pet was because of its' green eyes and those wings. Rooting for the old version to stay.

The overall art quality is a lot better, but the size and angle of the muzzle is pushing the pet over the edge into creepy and Uncanny Valley territory for me. If that was the intention, then by all means go ahead with it, but if not, you may want to try adhering more closely to the proportions of the original. Other than that, it's mostly good. The wings are a little misplaced (they look like they're attached to the torrey's arms rather than its back), but the colors and patterns on them are gorgeous and I hope they'll be kept in the final version.

The Torrey is adorable! 8D Although... I don't like the feet :0 It's all strange, like a flab of fur... The nose looks too small and the smile looks creepy. I liked the pose of the old Torrey ANYWAYS This is sooooooooo cute. I hope this revamp passes.

It's really nice, but the muzzle seems a little... of? Like, it's a bit too small compared to the rest of the head, and the feet are kinda... weird. Otherwise it's a really nice redraw. ^^ I love the wings.

I like the style of art (it seems to match other pet art styles now), and the shading is lovely. However there have been subtle physical changes to the new torrey that make it look like something else entirely. The colors for one have been changed. The new color of the wing does not match with the rest of the body. I think if you want to add purple to the wing there should be some purple somewhere on the rest of the body. The eye color... I don't know. It might be a big deal to some people, personally I liked the green better, but that's a matter of personal preference. I think what really "bothers" me is that it now stands fully upright and the leg shape is different. It looks more "human" than it used to. Granted the art style is different, but with the leg and the nose shape changes, the new torrey looks like a different critter altogether. I think someone mentioned it looks like a popoko, and I think they might have something there... So, overall it's nice, but. I probably would not choose a torrey now, if I got another pet.

The fur for the head looks too dark compared to the rest of its body, I liked the eyes when they were green, and the wing color is bothering me, other than that it's pretty cute ^^

I think the muzzle is at the wrong angle, and way too small. It's too far down the face, and looks plain weird. The feet also don't do much for the overall look, they kinda look... half-assed? Thats not the phrase I want, but, they look odd compared to the rest of the picture. The wing colour, as some others have said, could also be re-thought, as it just seems out of place. It's a good re-draw, though!

I think this is adorable, the Torrey was my second pet ever, even though I no longer have one I've toyed with the idea of getting another one.

NEWAIZ, this is very nice, Jag always produces some of the best art. The different wings just make me think the artists are going to be forced to think a bit out of the box for the other colours, that's their prerogative.

The whole thing reminds me of one of the Berenstein Bears. The way the feet and hands are drawn make me think of a werepuppy type monster.

If I were a new user, I'd be all over this, but, I'm not and I feel that the old Torrey is just a tad better. This may just be my nostalgia speaking however. This is the only revamp I've had any real feeling towards.

Overall, I think it looks good, but there's something off a bit with the muzzle. Oh, and it's a little dark to me. I loved how light the old Torrey was, since it added to the cute and sweet feel that Torreys are known for.

I WANT TO FEED HIM NUTS. He's so much cuter than the other torrey - and we don't have enough huggable pets IMO.

I think that the different coloured wings give something to change between colours (marsh has green, arid pink etc) and it a great idea!

I don't hate it--that's for sure. I love the way that it looks, the shading makes it so furry and that's awesome. But I have a small beef with the wings and nose. The color for the wings is pretty, but it's like the purple was pulled out of no where. I'd love to see it in other colors though. I think that the wings would seem better. And the nose seems a tad small, but other than those two things, I think that it's pretty. Especially the fluff-factor. 8D It makes you wanna squish it.

Since the new Torrey looks like it's made of chocolate (YUM!), I think green or maybe gold colored eyes would go a bit better than blue. Even lilac would be a better color contrast. I don't know. But i agree that the wings should be just a touch higher. Other than that, I really like it.

It's really cute but the muzzle is way too short.... it looks like a chipmunk or something.... O.o A chipmunk that stands on two legs and has this kinda creepy smile and feathery wings.... i don't know.... I like the new one better than the old because it looks more professional but there's still little things I have to pick at....

It kinda reminds me about something Dr. Suess would make up.... O.o I still like it but something just is off.... you need to rethink the snout and wings. Make them bigger for a more dramatic effect! =D Voot! DRAMATICS!!! But seriously the snout and wings are my only issues, the rest is freaking awesome!! XD

It's really cute! I love the little details on the wings. Although the only thing that bothers me is the smile. I just find it to be a little weird/creepy. Other than that, it looks great.

I will also reiterate what I said earlier, the art is beautiful, but I feel it needs a few tweaks. I would like the original green eyes back, maybe tweak the foot and neck a bit, and maybe make the rings brighter to go with how beautifully vivid the coloring on the body of the Torrey is.
Either way, Jaggers, I love what you have done. I may have teeny tiny issues, but I'm just one person amongst a sea of subeta uers. Thank you for your time and effort with the revamp. xoxo

I wish the eyes would stay green and look up to the sky a little (it gave such a nice impression to the torrey). Also I'd love to see a little bit more meat/fur on the upper arms, legs and on the neck (maybe even some more fur around the belly). The left wing seems a little bit too far on the side and would look great if it was put more on the back of the Torrey. The cheeks are a little bit flat and the snout seems rather tiny (with the smile going too high up the face).

I really like the wing-colorchange (although I was wondering about the purple at first). The chest fur and tail are really lovely. The upgoing eartipfur is a very nice addition as well as the cute paw.

However, I really liked the chilled and happy with itself and the world imression of the old one. The new one goes more into the GY and RB direction, impression-wise (wich isn't really bad but common should be neutral if I'm not misstaken). Even if I voted for old (because I think this version needs some tweaking) the artwork itself is a huge improvement.

I really like it, the ears are cute and I LOVE the tail, I also really like the pads on the paws, my favorite part, I just would suggest the head being a little smaller? It just looks very heavy to me, I think it would look better a bit smaller. Also, the back legs look a bit odd to me, almost like something Dr. Susse. Maybe it should be sitting, I think that would make the legs look a little less strange. But I love the art! Good job!

I like the new ones coloring style, and I love the new way the eye is colored. I didn't like the old one, the line art seemed a little akward. This one has much more depth in it. I vote for the new.

The wings don't match really good with the rest I think, they look good, but the color is too random. And the right foot looks too small. I agree with the eye color should be green again, t looked much better. But other then that it's pretty cute.
