??? I had post my opinion previously. Well, there goes my opinion again

Things about the new one. The eyes should be green. Because the wings have a different color it looks like they don't belong to this pet. The color of the wings do not have an connection with the rest of the pet. I find the legs a bit thin. The face has lots it's cuteness. Maybe because of the snout becoming thinner. On the plus side: The tail is lovely. I love the ears, the hair fur and face fur. The chest fur totally rocks. The mouth is an improvement. that looked a bit silly on the old one.

In the last post Fierce posted an image of the Torrey with a more serious expression and I think I'd prefer that over the smile it has here. Apart from that I absolutely cannot find anything to complain about. GREAT job, Jag. C:

This one does look better than the old one, but I just think that the head looks a bit too big for the rest of it's body. And the feet just look...weird. Seriously, they're like the size of it's EYES.

Yes i think it rocks myself very cute. you said consturtive well the only thing i would change would be the eye color maybe purpule or green, but other then that it is awesome YOU ROCK

I agree with most comments that say the mouth, nose and feet should be worked on, I also think the eyes would look nice if they were rounder, softer, as were the old torreyÂ´s eyes. The wings look really great, but maybe if they were a lighter color we could see their details better...

I don't particularly like this version. :c I think that the snout is too small, and it's a bit too human-esque. i did a red-line, to try and point out some things i thought should be changed a bit. c: dunkeelmeplz. 8B

I voted for the old one because it looked more huggable and squishy. The new one is too thin.

I like the old one better because for some reason, the new one reminds me of Pepe Le Peu the skunk from Warner Bros. =) I think you should recolor it black and white and make a new species. It's adorable, but it's just not quite "Torrey" enough

I love the new version...the eyes mostly. I don't like the color on the wings...but they're a great shape, I guess. it is one of the best revamps I've seen; and it was time for Torrey to get some attention.

Constructive criticism: Head too big, the left foot seems a bit 2-d.

In my humble opinion:

Pros: I like the new detailed wings, gives more coloration options to the pet. The new and improved angle of the tail its really nice. The new curved tips on the ears are unique and characteristic to the pet - much more interesting and exciting (and adorably cute!). The fur in general is greatly improved, especially around the face - yes!

Cons: The head is slightly big, the original looked a bit more proportional, and I miss the chubby thighs (oooh yeah, love them thunder thighs! ). It made the pet seem more like a jumpy creature, rather than a walking one. Lastly. Even though I know pets are now supposed to always "look" at the user, I think that upward, dreamy look was a key characteristic in the pet - but that's just personal preference.

I think that's all that jumps out at me now. I'm not much of a fan of Torrey's, but I definitely prefer this version to the old one. Voting new.

I love it,the snout could be a little wider and a tad longer but the rest is just plain adorable. Those rude,heartless criticizers just say that to make the artists mad.Don't take a it personally. Look at all the people who love the revamp!

I do like this design but there ar ea few problems in my opinion.

I LOVE the wing colour. As said preveiouslly it does look quite regal. Very ncie and very differant. I'd lvoe to see a revamped werarable of those wings.
the muzzle...does it look small to anyone else/ Not that that's a huge problem but it messes with the face a bit in my opinion. Maybe enlargening it would make it better-ish. It's very narrow
the feet have little defanition. I understand that's the torrey style but shrugs they look like plush feet not animal feet.

I voted for the old version because of mostly teh face -.-;; I do like the wings though and this pet greatly needs a revamp! Luck all and glad so many users like the new version!

I love it but..The muzzle needs to be a bit bigger maybe even wider and i think a purple or green would look much better for the eyes!

Wow! I love the new Torrey!

The muzzle/nose seems just a tad to small though. But that's just me! I still think it looks great! The eyes are beautiful.

I love the update especially the color and details though I agree with a few others here that the snout would look better being a bit larger/wider like in the old/current version to suit the dimensions of the torrey's face

I don't know why, but something about the snout and ears of the revamped one bothers me. To me, the snout seems a little too small and.. The ear curls annoy me. I dunno why. XD

I quite like the wings and overall version, though. ..But I still voted for the old one.

The new Torrey is a vast improvement over the old design, however, as many have already stated, the feet do look somewhat awkward--possibly a more rounded shape at the heels?--and, from what I can notice, the neck seems somewhat small for the head. I actually like the difference in wing color, but I can't help but think that maybe a lighter hue of purple would have matched better. Otherwise, the more realistic, cute design works very well.

Wow. This is a REALLY good revamp. I think the only thing that bothers me a little is the pose. It does seem a bit too human-like. But everything else is great, imo. ^^

Very well done! My only crit, is the shoulder, neck, and muzzle area.. they seem a shade too narrow, but even if that remains as is, it's lovely. applauds (LOVING the eyes!)

The Torrey is, according to the original artist, supposed to be based partially on the mischievous goblin. The fur is what makes the pet a Torrey, and not a general weasel or such

I already said that I don't like blue eyes and the pose, I think this new torrey is better for a female torrey than a male one...however I like the tail and the color...

Again, this one is cute. I adore the eyes, ears, and tail. And I love how you did the paws. PLUS, the art is MUCH better. Mmmm, shading. But, the muzzle bothers me. As does the skinniness of the arms and legs. And I don't really like how the feet look like they came from Dr. Seuss. Maybe make the feet have little toe things like you did with the paws? That'd be lovely.

Overall, lovely work artist. :3

I really like this revamp... though I thing the eyes could be a little smaller.. big eyes really don't work well on all creatures. Other then that, everything looks great.

I like this much better than the old version which is still the current one. However I think it looks to pose-ish, maybe if you rearranged the paws or the legs it would look better. Also maybe a different color for the wings. Overall I think its much better!

I don't have a Torrey, but if this revamp goes unchanged, I'll be a little scared for the pets I do have.

First - the face. The snout is way to small, and way off. It doesn't even look like a snout. It looks like a little cardboard toilet paper tube sticking out of a flat face. I can tell the artist was trying to go for some depth, and I can appreciate that, but in all honesty, they didn't come close to pulling it off. The eyes look weird with this nose, but if IT was fixed, I think they would look fine.

The ears are just a little... Take those little devil horn fluffs off the tips.

The body seems wrong too. On the old torrey, it looked like a bipedal animal. On this, it looks like a really weird furry costume. For it to look like an animal, it can't have human proportions.

The biggest problem, though, is the feet. It looks like there wasn't even any effort put into them. They remind me of Dr Seuss people. I realize they looked that way on the old torrey, but the old torrey is OLD. This artist can clearly draw paw hands, so why not fix up the feet too?

All in all... ew. I don't mean to sound as rude as I probably do, but it looks like some unholy combination of Disney's Robin Hood and the Grinch.

(I really love the wings, though. )

I love the wings and the tail. I also love the little quiff thing he's got going on...super cute. The hands/front paws have good definition and the chest fluff looks great. That being said, I'm really not sure about the feet/back legs...they look similar to the way you'd draw rabbit feet, which is fine but rabbit feet still have slightly more definition than the feet on the Torrey. Actually, looking really closely it's only the right foot (as you look at the picture, so the Torrey's left foot) that doesn't have the toe definition. Maybe adding a little extra shading to give that foot some more definition would help. Incredible work Jag...it's just that foot that looks a little off to me.

Right: I like the bangs and most of the ears, the paws/hands are cute in the fluffy style and I especially like seeing the little pads on the right paw, and the tail is perfect.

Wrong: The tips at the ends of the ears being spiky, the wing closest to us looks like it's coming out of back of the torrey's arm instead of its torso (I actually like the purple color), the nose is too narrow and I think the eyes are a little too big, and my biggest qualm is the feet, they look too flippin' weird being that furry..

Overall, I like the old one better. :c Sorry Jag.

Personally I really dislike it's pose, it seems..to human? The arms look a little awkward hanging like they are, and the snout seems a little to narrow to me.

I do absolutely love the wings Seems thats what most everyone is targeting but I love the different color, it'd be neat if the color of the wings were the same color as the eyes Ooh. Fancy!

All in all I like it, but if the pose gets changed I'm sure I'll love it XD
