and then we can mirror or color negative the oponents as well and have "Alternate" or "Alt universe" in front of every challenger. 4x the opponents!

And the color negative opponents will attack and defend the opposite elements. It's going to fun figuring out new strategies for them :) Dark / Light Earth / Wind Fire / Water Ice / Magma Physical (Leave that as is)

I often wonder how much less pessimistic the general feelings of subetans would be about "progress", if we got just a few words about things like this, that are taking far longer than would be expected. Like if a staff member just popped on the thread once every week or two and said, "Progress is going (good,bad,slow etc), it's being (worked on, re-thought, tweaked etc), we (don't,do) have a definite time frame yet, (bear with us, rejoice)." Just a little bit of information would be nice, nothing specific about what the updates entail, though something more than "we read this thread".

I really think it'd make a world of difference with many of things that draw the most negative sentiment around the site regarding updates...

There's just "this thing" left and then this other vaguely relevant thing.. and then once they do that other feature we can start thinking about maybe doing that thing. When all of that is done, they will be able to say with 100% certainty that the cap raise is happening soon*.

Agreeing with - they are probably waiting for battle month. Seeing as we had Masquerade last month and Vesnali this month it would make sense to do it in May / June / July / August when the calendars are clear. It would be nice to hear it first-hand instead of having to speculate though.

I always assumed important tweaks to the Battle system were tied to variables like the color of the moon, whether or not it's Tuesday in Alaska, and if pigs are currently airborne. And here you guys are, saying they're simply waiting on the next season of Game of Thrones?

The cap raise has NEVER been about being bored... for a select few it's been all about: RANK! period Back when Non-Capped pets were gaining ranks using LEVEL, those with capped pets WaaWaa'd ( not that it stopped them from using LEVEL to boost their already CAPPED pets to gain rank ).

I really dont see the need to raise it yet. Those who have said they cant beat a opp with thei current build, can use the leeches and re-arrange pet stats to beat ALL opps, atleast for 5 win drops. PEACE!
