My age? Last week at work. We have some newer colleagues and they don't believe me that I'm already that old. According to others I look ~fifteen years younger than I am so this is often a fun topic around me.
i can't remember the exact conversation, but at one point of my flatmates said something like 'oh right i keep on forgetting you're in first year, somehow i always think you're like twenty-one or something' which is pretty surprising since i look young and most people tend to assume i'm 15-16 haha. :v
When Prince passed away on the 21st, and I realized he was only 20 days older than me. That was a "Yipe!" moment.
Every time I get out of bed.
Most people don't believe I'm the age I am, my body tells me oh yes you are. :)
RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.
Ocean Conservation Namibia on YouTube... they do good work! https://www.ocnamibia.org
Mine is a Prince moment too.
I told my 12 year old son that Prince had died. He said 'Who?'. I was like omg, Purple Rain!! He said 'What?'
Then he shook his head at me, said 'Mum, I'm not 80' and went upstairs to play on his PS4 o.o
About a week ago while hanging out with my friends who constantly call me "grandma" because I'm almost a decade older than most of them. -___-
When I realised I was graduating this Summer when it feels like I started University about 6 months ago..
I literally spit my drink out because that's some stuff I would pull with my mom ;)

The other day I was thinking that in a few months I'd be 23, and I'm not sure why, but that really impacted me. For me somehow I feel like 23 is like, REALLY actually grown up. You've probably settled into routine and have a job and family by that time and you wish for high school days and that you had more time to socialize etc... at least, I know I do. It made me very melancholy.
I'm turning 23 in a little under a month and I feel the same way. Not so much in that I wish for high school again, but that back when I was younger I thought 23 was so so old.
I get reminded of just how old I am when I talk about when songs came out. I have a lot of younger cousins that I hang out with and when I talk about certain songs coming out when I was in middle and high school they knew them when they were in early elementary school. It's a little depressing.
I feel the same way, it sucks. Haha. I thought 23 was old then and I feel ancient now. And time is starting to move so fast whilst during childhood it seemed to crawl by.
Yes! School years dragged and now I feel like I just turned 21 and that was already two years ago.
asked the kids i babysit if they knew the president that came before obama, they had no idea. i envy them tbh
I saw that STUPID article about what women over 30 "shouldn't" wear according to some bossy idiot and I felt for a moment like that wasn't about to be me, then I was like wow... I'll be over 30 in 2 years!

also any time someone at work says they loved a band when they were a kid. it's almost always a band I liked in college.
Okay, I got a laugh out of this! -lol-
Pretty much only time I get reminded of it is mostly my birthday. I rarely if ever get picked on for my age. -lol-
