I said "lit" and I was laughed at
Luminaire Tree!

I'm not even that old, but a couple weeks ago when I forgot there is any Star Trek newer than the 90s. Someone asked whether I liked the new or older version and I said I like The Original Series AND The Next Generation.
When my cousin (age 7) asked who my favorite Disney princess was, and in response to my answer of "Probably Mulan", she gave me a confused look, thought for a second and said, "No I mean one of the princesses now. One of the newer ones." It's not a huge deal, but it happened recently and made me pause and think about Life for a second... Still a young 21. It's the little things.
When I was filling out the VAT forms for work. I had to put my DOB down, and realised that I'm 27 this year o_0
I just recently turned 20! It feels weird not being a teenager anymore and not old enough to buy myself a drink lol
Every time I look in a mirror. :P

What was the question?
Overheard some classmates talking about how a couple of them will be turning 18 this year & how excited they were about it... i'm turning 21 this year ¯(ツ)/¯
Will sell soul for :')
every time I realize that my little brother is 30. It's like a mental block, he'll always be the little kid on his scooter in my brain.
Yesterday, I spoke about memories of middle and high school with friends. I realized the things we spoke about happened 10 years ago.
the movie the Sandlot turned 25 this year
Mine is Subeta-related, actually OTL I've been a member for 11+ years and the news post for the Fantine Cakes for the 14th year anniversary made my jaw drop. I remember joining the site in middle school and celebrating the 3rd year anniversary. Otherwise I am usually around people IRL my own age so I don't get reminded of my age too often, thankfully!
In his mind, my brother's job is to remind me how old I am. He's 2.5 years younger than me so go figure.
I turned 46 on Sept. 21 and a bunch of my friends went for brunch. The waitress asked what was the occasion of such a gathering and someone told her it was my birthday. She asked how old I was and I told her 46! She looked at me like I was an alien and my friends, used to that reaction, were having a ball. Told her that I was really that age and it was okay to be a bit stunned, that I'm used to that lol.
The reason why people get weirded out is that I have a baby face that gives me very early 30s, but my very long hair is naturally 80% gray/white. It confuses people every time and it's funny to see their faces he he he.

I bought some wine for my parents last week and wondered if I would get ID'd as I didn't have it. Then I remembered that I am 31 with my 2 year old with me.
Thinking of my son’s birthday. I was 20 when I had him so we’re 5 and 25 this fall and winter ^-^

When my nephew told me he didn't know who R2D2 was x.x
My boyfriend and I went to a concert with La Dispute and Circa Survive this past Friday. We were pretty stoked about it until we were there and between the two bands performing we realized we were probably the tallest and older people there (5'9"/24 and 6'4"/28). We're used to struggling to see the stage but we had absolutely no trouble this time, and while the crowd of basically teenagers continued dancing and cheering, we were both admittedly tired by the time it was 10pm and the concert didn't end for another hour. I then realized I think I'd enjoy concerts more if they were at noon instead of at night, and then I could take a nap afterwards and continue my day. lol
"Dang son, where'd you find this?"
Last week at work, I saw I had 2 hours left on my shift and I got really excited because that meant I could go home and get my laundry done soon. It was the beginning of my weekend and THAT was my first thought. Y i k e s.
Yesterday when I got some fancy candies and was really excited about it until my mom said "someone your age shouldn't get that excited with candy (in a good-hearted manner)" >.>
A few minutes ago. Knocked Up is on tv and it's the part where the girls are crying on the curb because they can't get in the club. (Pregnant and too old. For the earth.) And Debbie, the older sister blurts "You're younger, you got the good lips, and good boobs. And, you're young still!" to her sister. and it's weird because i was in my 20s the first time i saw it probably thinking I'd have a family by her age. And i never thought id be over 30 watching it, no kids, not married, wondering how old she is supposed to be. Older than I am now but how much longer before I catch up? it's weird, dude. (and a little : ( but i still love this movie)
