Every day :p I'm mentally so effin old I don't get any of the fads these days.

Every time my coworkers ask. I'm at my first job out of college :P

My favorite was when I went to a garden show earlier this year and the lady almost gave me a discount for being a teen (she thought 16), when I'm 25.

Mostly, though, it's when I think of all the stuff I grew up with like cassette tapes, VHS, house phones with cords, and a time when not every house had a computer of any sort. I remember when CDs were made, when they are kinda a moot point these days.

I was talking to some ignorant asshole holier than thou kid about stonable sins and one of them is when teenagers sass their elders, and it turned out they really were that young and that I really was that old.

Last night. I was watching Dan Bell on youtube. One of his latest videos he filmed the Branch Davidian (Waco) grounds. "If you don't know who they are, you were born before '93..." I remember it being all over the news and watching it on tv when it happened.

Then I was reminded of how old my nephew and honorary nephew happen to be. Teenagers, both of them, next year.

When July came around and now I am uncomfortably aware of how close my birthday is.

Yesterday when I was driving with my family. My parents were talking about Pokemon Go and I thought about how I was too young/non-existent to enjoy Pokemon when it first came out, and my parents were far too old. I guess I am still very glad to be growing up in today's geek culture.

when i found a box of stuff laying around and inside were four little rubber teletubbies bath toys i had from being 1 or 2 years old...and then looking up the show and seeing it came out in 97 and saying wow! that's like 20 years! oh wait, i was born in 97.....

i know i'm not as old as some people on here but i never wanted to be anything but a teenager, that was my life dream as a kid which is dumb but it was...so i'm having a harsh time accepting that i'm about to be 20 and that's the end of that

I didn't get carded at any restaurants recently so I was happy I finally looked my age. and then I fell kind of old.... But then last week someone was shocked I was over 18. I am tried of people thinking I look 16-18 when I am am now 25. I swear there is no way I look that young but blah whatever :/

Also reminded of my age when I realized how long ago Pokemon first came out in the US.I still remember hanging out in the big kids room at summer camp geeking out over some card board pictures we cut out of lunchable packages with Pokemon them.

Recently I've been applying for part time hostess jobs to pick up hours when I'm not training for my 'real' job. I had one server ask if I was in high school? And a manager told me I looked 17, tops. He thought I was 21 because I checked that I was at least 21 (able to serve alcohol) and thought that was shocking. I'm actually 24. ^_^'

Usually hits me when I'm thinking too much... or when I'm watching tv. I'm nearing my 30s and when I remember things from my childhood and how much THAT's aging as well.... yikes.

Gosh, add me to the '23 is months away' club. It used to seem such a far away number!

A moment that really hit home for me recently was when an old high school friend tried to organise a meetup because we all started high school ten years ago. That's as many as ten ones. And that's terrible. And heck, it's been years since I finished university. I still feel like a youngin' though. Doesn't seem right. People still think I'm seventeen.

how are we so old, do you realise we met ten years ago, what is this madness O_O

probably about a week ago. I went to the library with my fiancee to check out some books, and we were chilling because they're a Pokestop and they had a lure out. and there were these... little assholes. High schoolers I think? Generally being loud and angry about pokemon and yugioh.

Long story short, I aided in getting them a month long ban from the library. They actually took my complaints seriously. I am now That Person.

Living with my roommates in general. XD

They're all in their early-mid-20s and I'm 30. I came into graduate school at 29 so all my graduate school friends are in their early-mid-20s as well so.. there is that too.

Mine was today - I was watching the Olympic coverage and remembering the Athens games, then I realised how long ago that was. Eep!

When I buy alcohol at a restaurant or store and I don't get carded. I don't think I look that old, but I certainly don't look around 21 I guess.

Today... when I was listening to the radio and Guns and roses was played on a classic rock station

I had to help a younger teen dial a landline a few weeks ago. Her phone was dead and asked if she could call her dad. I sat there and watched her dial the phone number and then pick up the phone.... She couldn't figure out why the call wouldn't go through.
