Getting called "Ma'am" today by some teenager asking me to buy him cigarettes. I wasn't going to do it either way, but I had a "whaaaaaat" moment when that happened. I mean, hell. I'm only 28; I didn't think I was old enough for "Ma'am" yet!

When I got both an AARP and a Neptune Society membership offer in the mail the other day. Going through a rough medical situation with my husband, and have been spending too much time in the hospital lately, so a cremation arrangement flyer was less than welcome. I just about smashed the P.O. box.

Pretty much anytime I may be sitting in a bar and people probably staring at me, lol. I'm only 24, I'm still not used to saying that.....I have to remind myself not to say 23. Even then, most people think I'm 15-16, lmao!

Oh yea, also any time I become annoyed by kids walking/running down my street yelling like they're being murdered! I just wanna yell out my window like an old lady telling them to shut up! =P

The other day when the local news station said that Hurricane Bob was 25 years ago. I remember walking up Main St. of the town I lived in at the time as a teenager in almost knee deep water.

I was in a department store and was walking towards some basic shirts and dresses to check them out. A teenager was walking towards that area as well but her friend stopped her and said "Don't go there, that's for old people."

Every time I talk to the clerks where I work.. I had to ask why "kids these days" had to wear their hats with a flat brim and the price sticker still on. I'm not even that old but I'm a decade older than the teenagers I work with...

I was watching Jimmy Fallon and he was doing a skit where he pretended to put down a phone to go do something... then he realized it was weird because phones are cordless now. And that was when it struck me as weird too... so I'm still used to corded phones. That's when I was reminded of my age
