Your post just gave me my "last time i was reminded of my age". Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance was my first KH game. My mom gave it to me as a christmas present the year it came out, I really liked the soundtrack! <3

This year mine niece an mine both have ages in prime numbers. 43 an 2, mine doubt this will repeat in our lifetimes.

Every day that I am at uni (4 days a week). I am almost 27 and I am a first year bachelor of science. Everyone else in my physics class is 18/19 and god they are so much better than me at all of it. Can't stop thinking about my age in classes; I feel so embarrassed. There are no other mature age students in my collaborative classes of ~200 people.

When I got a brochure in the mail from the Neptune Society a week or so ago, urging me to consider a cremation preplanning package with them... :(

I literally think about my age all the time LOL. At 27 (28 in a couple of months, wow) I still have the independency of a 10-year-old. I can't go anywhere on my own, can barely make food for myself except for a few things that don't need a lot of preparing, and having a job is currently out of the question. My mom still has to take me to places and make sure I have something to eat everyday. She can't be free to pursue whatever she wants, as if she has a child. I'm constantly struck with guilt.

And to make this funnier, I was blessed with a baby face. I always get mistaken for a middle schooler, and I have a super childish voice. It's like the world itself is telling me there's no way I could be 27!

Stupid Peter Pan Syndrome, I just wanna grow up already!!!

The thing that irritates me the most is my relationship with my mom. We have had issues together for pretty much my entire life. It only started getting a little better a few years ago, and I have yet to heal from it all. I believe that when I finally have more freedom away from her, I'll feel a lot healthier mentally and many of the thoughts/feelings that have been burdening me for years may no longer do. Yet I'm stuck with her. I don't think I can really heal from all she caused/causes me until then.

It's alright though. I've been taking steps towards improving myself. I know I'll get there. And I know that despite being annoyed by them, deep inside I do find my innocent face and voice endearing. They're a part of myself that I'm grateful for and wouldn't want to change.

The last time I was reminded of my age was this morning when I looked in the mirror and said "who is that old lady staring back at me?"

I was at a friend's birthday party and the DJ on the radio talked about playing all the classic rock oldies...

And then he started playing Green Day.

At work last week. My coworker, who is in her twenties, mentioned something to me and I said that I had turned 40 in January (of this year :) ). She thought I was joking, thinking I was only in my early thirties. I then pointed out that our boss was a decade older than me and she couldn't believe that either!

I work with university students and one was wearing a top with the album art for 'Infinity on High' (Fallout Boy) and casually dropped into conversation that the album came out before she was born. I remember loving that album in my teens. Can't fathom it's been so long since it came out ;-;

Every time someone doesn't like a response, their go to is to attack my looks and call me a grandma. Im 41 and look 35. I take care of my skin and have no grandbabies.

3 days ago! I had an early 30th birthday celebration but the actual day is the 17th of July ~ So a nice festive reminder!

Went to a freelance job. Coming back from lunch everyone was with a worried face waiting me and I felt like "What in the hell did I do wrong?" then they asked me, "How old are you!!?", then "Jesus we thought you were a minor!" lol I don't even know what could happen if they got a minor working, I thought it wasn't such a big deal.

When my back feels like it needs WD-40 to straighten back up after cleaning a couple dishes. I'm 30.....

my almost 4 year old asked his dad how old mom is, he said 36 and my kiddo just said "wow"XD

younger coworker brought up birth control and pregnancy scares and i said i felt for her. she hit me with the "youre 30 though" hit like a brick
