When my roommate, exasperated, said "That's a closed sign, not a dustpan" to one of our younger coworkers. 😂
Yesterday, when I had a bill come up that I didn't realize I hadn't paid, and interest had racked up.
Fantastic thing to have happen right before Christmas XD.

The day before yesterday, when my cousin realised that we're actually the same age XD
Just last week when i had to show my ID for buying a beer (sold to people 16+). I am 28. Good thing about this: the face of the poor people asking to see my ID. Priceless :D
watching a youtube storytime like two days ago and the narrator saying: "i know some of you guys are too young to remember what blockbuster was, but imagine if netflix ran out of the movie / show you were trying to watch." and i was s h o o k

Earlier today when my aunt was writing my birthday in her calendar. On the plus side, my birthday is on a Friday this year lol.
When the new Subeta age poll came out. First time I voted: 25-30 range (pretty sure I was in the low end of that) Now: 35-40 (dammit) Whatever, I still get carded every time I buy booze. Yay for buying booze. :P
Pretty much on the daily at the middle school I work at. Either my students ask because they forgot or they are new to my class and want to know or an adult will make a "casual joke" saying that they thought I was one of the students before realizing I was their teacher. This happens with other teachers, administrators, and the student's parents if we have conferences.
Yay!
Oof. I'm a counselor who works with kids and I am reminded FREQUENTLY. Especially with slang and language. Just a couple days ago, I learned that teens actually say they are "feeling thot-y." I know what a thot is, but now it's an adjective lmaoooo
ummm, every day multiple times, When I get out of bed & my knee tries to give out. When I try to itch my nose & my elbow burns. When I drop something & the vertebrae crack
I was looking through my childhood photos and saw one of me playing with the original bopit.
lmao today I got reminded when my mom was talking about a cafe she and my father used to frequent in a different state. she was all "there were young people there, about 17 to late 20s" and mentally I was "oh okay so my - " wait, no, I'm 31. =|
