I guess if you can't figure out how to use that money, why don't you put it into a contest for our ping group or something. Lol. I still haven't seen a reason for it yet either.

Sounds like an awesome idea! To be honest, part of the reason why I picked this team was because the participation prize reminded me a lot of my childhood, haha. That and siblings are awesome!

I was in a cult almost 3 yrs ago, but I left after awhile. I'm cool with this being a ping group, or a cult, either one.

I also picked this team because of childhood memories.

I'm not in a cult and it seems like they're defunct anyway! I am part of wizarding, which is like a pseudo cult, though. (def would check out if you're into harry potter)

Yay ping group chat! It remains to be seen how involved I can be due to my slightly inconvenient time zone, but I'll try nonetheless.

Has everyone got plans for their new pet slot? I've got a name planned out, but I still need to make a final decision on species and colour.

I like the idea of us remaining a ping group and keeping in touch. I wish we knew if this competition was going to happen next year, too, because we could honestly just keep the money in the fund and maybe even add to it over the year to help for next year's contest

I went over to the Site Updates forum because I vaguely remember there being a post about it.

It seems like it's for groups to do giveaways and contests and stuff. I think only the group Admin can remove the sP though, while anyone can donate.

Other than that, I'm not really sure how any of this works. I've never been part of a forum group (or cult) before.

... I did actually make a blanket fort today. I'm sitting in it right now. The weather is horrible and rainy today, and in light of recent events, it was the only reasonable option.

I got a Neela with my pet slot. After thinking for a while I decided I wanted to name it something related to rain or storms, because I love them, but all the names I liked were taken. So I ended up going with a video game reference to fictional goddess that's kind of the god of warriors and nature (and rain), but all those names were taken too. So I went with Kynny which is close, kind of. I don't really like it and I'm not sure how I want to pronounce it, but I'll go with Kenny for now. I decided to keep her common instead of glade or storm because I think the colors are soft, feminine, airy, and mystical which kind of fit.

Other than that, I'm a bit disappointed at the number of people saying they don't want to have team based events anymore.

I just pinged from the wrong forum, so I'm sorry about the double ping. I wanted to ping from here to encourage people to come here and chat more.

I need to change my HA to the blanket fort theme, and I WILL a bit later. I need to eat dinner soon. :)

Are people really saying they don't want team events? This is one of the few I feel like Im at least sort of interacting with others here, instead of being that awkward kid who pops in randomly on a thread and gets lost in the shuffle lol
