Thanks, if you have any thoughts on how we might organize it, please share. I'm pretty tired, so my brain is not at full speed, but perhaps in the next week or so we could come up with ideas. If we stick together as a team and pool our think tank energy we could continue to be awesome in different ways.
I love your HA, so cute and cozy!
There was something else I was going to say, but it flew out of my head. :)
You're so welcome. It was reading that you wanted a Neela that made me think of the idea of putting together some sort of wishing list for our group--a sort of project where we come up with ideas to help each others dreams come true.
Ahh that's such a lovely idea tbh, I wouldn't mind joining that!
Cool (and thank you) well if you have any ideas about how we might do it, post, ping, throw in your 2 cents worth. I don't know much about organizing something of that sort, so far it's just ideas that need to be fully formed.
Well I should rest, I was watching a movie, but I came back online to look something up and I couldn't resist popping over here. I might pop on a bit before I go to sleep, but if I don't I wish you a good night, or good morning.
Oh that just gave me another idea--it might be fun to develop a roster of some sort so people can post a bit about themselves, what time zone they're in, what they're doing in real life (school, work, being a parent, etc) and I have NO clue how we would compile the info in such a way that people could access it, but it's a thought. I'm not very computer literate, so I have no ideas. If someone says to use Facebook I'll probably just vomit since I don't like FB much, but I'm not the boss. Most people seem to like it, but meh. I have my reasons, lol.
made the forum art! All thanks to them.
I like the idea of a monthly drawing!
I think this is definitely headed in the direction of a cult, but I am totally in.
I hear ya, I'm not exactly sure how to proceed, but I'm just throwing ideas out there, how bout you, got anything to add?
Great, do you have any thoughts?
Wow, that's awesome,TRULy a testimonial to our team. (the forum art) are you making that available to everyone to use?
Thank you! Yes, feel free to use it as you wish. I originally made it for the group to use in general, so that still stands.
I can't believe we were actually the third largest team. That's crazy.
Thank you, I'd love to use it, but I'm not exceptionally computer literate, I was born in the 1950's (that's my excuse, lol) so how would I use it. Isn't there some code I need to have, that I would have to "put" somewhere? Let me know if you can help me with that. I'm about to go to sleep, but I'll catch up with you eventually.
Also, how do we know the size of the teams? Was that announced somewhere? I agree that it's crazy. I thought we were the smallest, since we were so far lagging. I guess a lot of our team members signed up but were unable to participate much. Those of us who were here gave it a fighting try, though, and made new friends. :)
I just notice that you have books in your fort, that's a nice touch, I LOVE books, what item is that? Nevermind, I looked at your profile and I found it. I hope you don't mind that I'm going to copy that idea!! I would definitely have had books in MY fort as a kid, and I would have been wearing a dress sometimes, too--I was girly. :)
Adding a forum image is very easy. Just go the the forum image section of the forum options HERE, select the 'alignment right' option, and post the image url in the box (https://i.imgur.com/ioX3EqM.png), then click 'set preferences' so it saves it.
Yes, Amber announced team numbers of the feedback thread.
I suspect that we had a good chunk of people sign up for the participation prize primarily, which is also a problem I think nature had, too. With other teams, more people were invested in the NPCs or what the team represented, and were more likely to fight for it.
The books are the Abalone Bookmark, which was released in the Library quest shop last month.
Thank you so much for the forum art and GREAT easy to follow instructions.
Thanks also for explaining about the team member numbers. I'm shocked that we had SO many members yet so little participation, but I agree with your thoughts--people wanted the background. It was the best one, and once a person selected a team they would have only had to have given one item. I didn't think that I was going to get so into it--I usually am not so active--but it was truly FUN!
Hey all~ Hope everyone is well!
Ugh my internet went down right after I posted here on the 1st page and my husband wasn't able to get it working till late last night. Somehow our wifi name and password reverted to the original name and password. Also Time Warner Cable customer service sucks.
I can't believe we had so many members! It felt like there were 20 of us lol.
That's really strange that it reverted back, sounds like the modem had a hard restart, or something. It seems like most internet places don't have the best customer service, I have Mediacom, and they are not all that great to me lol. Glad you got your internet back!
Hello again!:)
Interesting about the team numbers... I don't understand why anyone would choose a team /just/ to get the wearable when it was stated in the news post that they would be available in the Millionaire Center after the contest. The main reason I chose this team was that I got the best vibe from the other chat thread. Since the method for choosing the winner wasn't stated, I went with my gut just so I could participate. I suspect it was meant to be a fun, friendly, and lighthearted competition, but whatever..
As far as organizing the ping group goes... I think these groups are meant to replace the cults? I remember reading that there was plans to allow us to join multiple cults, so this is it? So far they're set up fairly similarly -- same features except for the lack of an item vault.
Question for : Are you able to sticky topics in the group forum? Also, from poking around, I see that you can set up 3 forums (ie sections), and those can hold just topics? No sub-forums then?
I'm not too keen on posting personal info on fully public pages, but since the ping/group forums are members only, I'm ok with there. Please, no facebook! Now, I don't know which would work better for profiles: A separate forum/section with each person's profile as a single topic or a single topic restricted to profiles, with perhaps the first post serving as an index?
YAY TEAM.
I'm so glad we have a new home because you all are freaking awesome to event with.
Also amazed about the team numbers. Kind of wish there was a way we could see participation percentages out of that amount, but meh.
Hey! Glad you made it over!
Guys, the apartment building across from us burnt down last night. That was kinda terrifying. :( I kinda want a RL blanket fort for today. Don't handle not feeling safe well.

Yep, I wouldn't miss being here. Love this team!
Oh no, that is horrible. Being someone whose lived through a house fire that started in her bedroom, it is extremely no fun. Maybe if you can find out how it happened, it may make you feel a bit better. Especially if it's something you know you can avoid doing. bighugs!
Oh no! That's awful! They still don't know what caused it yet, and there are still police there 12+ hours later. :/ I think it would help, knowing what caused it. -hugs!-
I love this team too. I'm going to have more fun on events, with good people.

Yikes! Totally understand. A few years ago a building in the apartment complex I used live in burnt down, and for some time I was jumpy at every neighboring smoke detector that went off, knowing just how quick a building could be engulfed!
