I'm not quite as fond as Masquerade as I am of other holidays but I do look forward to seeing what the staff comes up with.

Yeah I feel the same way, Survival has always been my fave, but it doesn't mean I don't look forward to the others, just not as much.

I've been slowly working on a graphic for our Pillow Fort team, but it's been slow, since I've been so busy. My mother's 60th is coming up on the 12th, and I am designing her dragon card that I'm going to print out and put together. So, the graphic is going to the back burner again. Sorry guys! But when I get a good amount of it done ( I work on more than one graphic at a time) I'll show you all a screenshot of what I have, and see what you all think.

I'm very excited for the Masquerade coming up. It's tied with Survival for my favorite holiday; I just really love steampunk! So I am excited for the new wearables.

Steampunk is awesome, I agree. I also must say, you have done great with that virus skin! Love your HA.

I guess thats my thing then. I'm not big on steampunk myself. It can be pretty cool, but I'm more of a fantasy/supernatural person than a space/steampunk/sci-fi person. So Morostide is my favorite.

I thought it would be great to get some Labyrinth masquerade items this year but even though it had a masquerade sequence it's more fantasy than steampunk so I'm not sure it fits.

I'll usually have a pre-event avi, like now, and then change off and on.

Most of the time, I kinda do steampunk/gaslamp cosplay ideas that I have.

I love all the events (I get so excited to see all the new items), but I think Masq juuust edges out in front. The wearables are usually some of the best (although I think the quality has dropped a bit recently), and I love seeing everyone dressed up (I think it's the only one where you have to actively change what your HA is wearing to participate). I like steampunk in moderation, but I go off it a bit if it's too over the top or loses focus. Some of that octopus stuff last year was a bit weird.

I think they were trying to do divepunk, and kinda missed. Had an ex that was super into steampunk, so I know most of the subgenres...

Masq and Morostide are my favorites. Pandemic is a close 3rd.

It feels more like they half stumbled into divepunk without realising it. More like they had half an idea that octopodes were cool now (maybe after a half-hearted Etsy search), and crowbarred them in. Hopefully it'll be better this year; there are some good ideas in the suggestions thread, and last year's Vesnali had much better items after they did a similar thing.

I would like to see an octo-hat. Not gonna lie. Masq needs more Victorian hats. I'm gonna browse the suggestion threads; I always forget they exist...

I'm still kinda meh on last year's Vesnali items. They are good items, but I wasn't really enthused about them as a whole.

oooooh pseudo military would be a super cute HA theme. That's def one I've never even thought about. I'm not big on steampunk stuff so that might be what I go with now!

it'll be my first masq and besnali so i'm so excited about everything anyway, too.

By the way, I like the icons in the title. Masq is a TON of fun, and Vesnali has fun items, too. :)

"A bit" late thanks for you all for an amazing Survival! It was my first, so I didn't really have any expectations for it, but now — thanks to you guys — I have very high expectations for the next year! :'D

I can't wait for the Masquerade it's one of my favorite events aside from Vesnali. This group made Survival really fun as well. I hope there's some nice items this year.

I'm def excited for any new plushies/beanbags and buying some of the old shoe/makeup items!

Also I made a forum for team-only contests, so if anyone has experience with setting those up...

I used to be so worried about interacting with others during events. Like, I didn't know if they knew I would visit their profiles to TOT or get candy hearts so I was worried they get an notice and be like "Who the fuck was that?" and posting on the forums was an absolute no. I missed out on so many items.

Your HA reminded me of the chapters with the Moon Splitting Festival. The outfits from that arc would make nice Masquerade or Vesnali items.

I never knew that we got our own private forums until someone made a post about it. I don't have any experience setting up contests myself.
