I've seen so many people mentioning in the comments about 10 votes and only 6 winners so maybe here we can get some clarification? I do love all the winners and their items but yeah why was there a 10 vote limit when only 6 items would eventually win?
Where there so few votes on some items that they just didn't cut it? Or did staff have to set a limit so that not too much sP was put back into the system? (Well 10 winners would mean 500mil goes back into the site)
Also why did 4 items end up in Skitters' shop while only 2 ended up in Louis' shop? Just curious about that, it seems a little lopsided, even amount of items per shop would have been nice.
Either way a big congrats to the winners and thank you staff for hosting this event and answering our questions. [edit] We got 4 more items added to the shops, so thank you for listening to the userbase!
FOUR MORE WINNERS, FOUR MORE WINNERS! I'm with the other users bout starting a riot, it just seems silly, and I feel almost a bit deceived? the vote amount to winner ratio is a real problem I have with it tbh.
I get why the amount put into the shops were uneven, because the winners are the winners, despite what shop they'd go to. People voted for more zombie stuff than cute stuff, that's all there is. Wouldn't make sense for any of the items to go into the opposite shop...
Also I still need to know who did the ones that didn't win because I really wanted a few of them
I'm trying to remember how the Peekaboo contest went, and I can't remember the ratio of votes to winners.
I'm not really bothered by the items not being evenly distributed between the two shops. If they did that, then they may have ended up shafting an item that was more beloved but skewed the Louie/Skitters ratio, and IDK, I'd rather have to pay sP for more items that I liked more than have the option to pay with hearts for an item I may have liked less. (Since we really don't know how far down the list was before getting to another Louie item.)
I was a bit surprised at the news "rioting" ;) just because my own reaction was mostly, "oh, yay, I can buy one of the things I liked enough to vote for!" So
I only remember us getting 5 votes for that contest yet I know there was more then 5 winners with that contest.
pretty sure we got double the items. So 5 votes, 10 winners
I have such an issue with how it was handled. For the Peka-Boo contest we were able to vote for five and we ended up with TEN winners. For the Survival contest we were able to vote for ten and we ended up with six winners ? No. I don't care if they wanted less sP put out, that is on them and for them to change next time. I feel bad for the users that should have won.
EDIT: Clarifying that the comment on the sP is meant as a "if that is their reasoning, or one of their reasonings."
I agree it seems a bit backwards there. I also only personally brought up the sP issue... more to trying to come to an understanding as to why there was so few winners this time around.
Surely adding a few more items (at least to the zombie den) can take back out the sP they put back in and make things right again. I don't know.
I wonder if it came down the votes were so spread out that it would have been pointless to award more winners.
Either way I don't have much of an opinion, I just don't like the participation prizes being stuck in the Cash Shop. Especially since was purposefully left out during Peka Boo.
I think moving them to the cash shop was actually a great idea. Everyone complains about the sticker but doesn't that just prove what an awful idea that was and that they should never ever do it again?
Oh, I know you meant it as a "well, this could be a reason?" sort of thing ! I should edit my post and make that clear.
I wouldn't mind all of them being in the Zombie Den, to be honest. I'd buy a fair few. But alas, it is not realistic to hope for even half of them to be put in, ahaha... I just wish they would have put in the ten that should have won.
If it's a matter of too much sP being generated, then that contradicts what Keith said last time:
And anyway, If they sell 2000 of each Zombie Den items then that's 800 million sP right there. Adding more items would be even more of a sink.

It never occurred to me that just because they gave us 10 picks that we should expect 10 winners. The only thing I expected was that there would be at least one winner for each shop. And we got more than that so I don't really care much, haha.
I'm just sad the shark didn't make it. xD
So much to choose from and so few winners.
It's no surprise many of us are confused and disappointed, but I can only imagine that some of the people who entered are a little hurt :/

I know it was brought up well before the contest ended that giving out 50m per winning item was a lot of sP, and users were assured that wouldn't be a problem.
I do think it would be nice to have more winners (after all, more is always better, at least with this kind of thing) but maybe that was just the best point where the votes were split? Either way I'd love more items to throw my sP at. I don't have a problem with more being in the Den than the Parlor either. The tea could easily fit in the Parlor, it just wasn't put there. Might as well let it be an sP sink, even if it's an item that would still fit in that theme.
The tea definitely couldn't fit in the parlor. It was literally poisoned and ribbed with bones XD Though the point of the prize makes a bit of sense, then they shouldn't have had 10 votes, they should've had 6.
I never expected ten winners. I didn't even use all ten of my votes, because I felt I didn't need to. Ten votes is a lot for so few entries. I'm just so happy that I get to buy these items! Also, I think the items went into the shop that they fit the best with the theme of.
Going by looks alone, it's pretty cutesy. I didn't realize those were supposed to be bones until you said it, it's not really tattered or dirty or covered in blood. i think it could have fit into the Parlor, and I would consider the two "categories" of items to be even, regardless of which shop the items went into. [edit] I'm not trying to say it doesn't fit the Zombie Den either, but it could go into either imo
I don't care that there were more items in the zombie den than the parlor. If the top 6 came out that way, then ok. I would rather the more popular ones be picked than the skewed numbers to just get in the parlor.
However, I did think there would be 10 items picked, since we got 10 choices. So I am upset about that. But at least we got the chance at some lovely items again. ^_^
