Oh I see, that would make it more difficult :c Should have asked for them for Christmas :p
I'll definitely check that out! It's so strange for me, because I've enjoyed gay fiction for a long time, but there isn't much lesbian (or at least not as much lesbian fiction seems to be jumping out at me lol) and it took me a long long long time to realise I was a lesbian. Maybe if I'd had more lesbian fiction available, I would have got there way sooner!
While checking out Her Name in the Sky, I found this which looks good. A lot of gay teenaged boy fiction deals with closeted teens - this one is about an out teen who doesn't want to be 'that gay kid'.
Oh damn. Yeah that makes sense, I'd want to read it in the original text if I could. I don't speak or read any other languages well enough to do it, so English is all I have lol, but I'm very slowly working on improving my German. I might have to switch up to Spanish if I move to the US though since German is way less common than Spanish there haha!
It's okay to wait to read The Rest of Us Just Live Here though. I have loads and loads of books I can read haha!
I love sooo many books I don't even know where to start. And there are many I've reread more than just once. Now I usually read mystery series and one of my favorites is the Nero Wolfe books by Rex Stout. I own many of them and some have been read so many times that I had to replace them when they started to fall apart. :-)
I also read other things too. Sometimes nonfiction about a topic that catches my interest.
I used to read a LOT of science fiction and fantasy as well. My all time favorite there is Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. I love that even more than Harry Potter (and I do love Harry Potter too).
And, thanks to a recent movie preview, I need to go back and reread a book from my childhood days - A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engel. I know it's sort of a children's book, but I'm looking forward to a revisit anyway.
I read Divergent and didn't really care for it. but it's something to read I guess

I’m always up for rereading the Harry Potter series and the A Song of Ice and Fire series. And I just started rereading Jane Eyre, love that book.
"Books" The Last Unicorn. "But wh--" The Last Unicorn. "What ab--" The. Last. Unicorn..
if you could live a life as a bird which bird would you choose?
Probably a crow. They're goofy and fun! I love them! How about you?
What was it about Divergent you didn't like? I cantry to advise what kind of direction you should head in? (I work in a book shop and also read books of every genre, this is kind of my thing lol)
Frivolous: Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty is so fun. Read it before you watch the HBO series.
Serious: The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood never gets old and is sadly very relevant.

Haha, I got some much more needed things, but good idea! Maybe next year.
a peacock :) love the tails!! but now if I went based on my personal likeness, a kookaburra. reason being I laugh like all the time and if you've ever heard a kookaburra or the saying "laughing kookaburra" you'll know why that bird would fit a full-of-laughs kind of human :D
Oh yeah, super elegant! Kookaburras are cool too, small and compact birds! Plus you'd get a fun song about you haha! Did you get anything awesome for Luminaire?
ah yes! some retired luminaire plushies i still hadn't collected myself :D i also got an item i had wishlisted too :D dont remember why I wishlisted it but I got it lol. it was a wearable :) what about yourself?
I always feel that this is something I can never answer. I loved the Just So Stories by Kipling as a kid, so we'll go with that.

It's been so long ago that I read Divergent that I can't even remember any of it. That shows you I wasn't interested enough in it.

I got a lot of mine from Christmas gifts, but now I'm old enough to buy my own xD
Haha definitely not for you then!
Nice! I'm working up my plushie and beanbag collections too. I have a long way to go though haha! I got quite a few duplicates actually, some wearables and some aeanoid seeds. Problem is that now I don't know what I want to name the aeanoid!
yeah i'm a huge collector so all the collections i thrive to complete. I completed the pumpkin collection this past Morostide :D i was so happy! afraid i'll never complete plushies and beanbags though XD there are SO MANY!!! lol then there are the achievements I'm always tackling those when i can lol lot's i still dont know about this site, didnt know you needed to grow aeanoids XD haha
Same here! I want to collect it alllllll! That's great! I think I've only ever participated in one Morostide, so I don't have any of the pumpkins! I feel the same way about the plushies and beanbags. I'm slowly working my way through the list, buying the ones that are real cheap and wishlisting the ones that I can't get right now, but it's so much! I'm really bummed about the site event achievements that I've missed 😭 You can grow them, or I think you can have them made steampunk and nostalgic? But I'm not 100% about that. Are there any achievements you're working really hard on right now?
