I'm re-reading the first two books in the Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson (The Way of Kings and Words of Radiance) I was hoping to get through these before the 3rd book, Oathbringer, came out, but I got sucked into the Dark Tower series by Stephen King.
It'll be awhile before I finish, since they're long books, I just need to avoid any spoilers!
I haven't read anything else aside from school material recently. Earlier this year, I've finished the 4th book from the Heroes of Olympus series from R.Riordan. I really love this series and the Percy Jackson one.
Courtship of Princess Leia, I'm re-reading it. It was my favorite book as a kid. As an adult, I sold it to Half-Price. Then shortly after Saint Carrie passed away, I was at Half-Price in the sale section, as I was broke and depressed about life in general, and there it was. IN HARDCOVER TOO.
I read a lot but I've been listening to a lot of audio books lately if that counts?
i just finished one flew over the coockoos nest, that was pretty good!
Have you tried audiobooks? Sometimes they're easier to "read" than text ;)
One of my all-time fav books is Frankenstein by Mary Shelly. I found it to be a real page-turner. Due to a reading disability, I tend to listen more to audiobooks than "read" or watch movies to relax; however, I do have a weakness for beautifully illustrated children books.
Although it is kinda sad, I really like Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. I have read it like 10 times and currently reading again.

I also love any books that has to do with mythical Dragons

Besides Potter, I've revisited the Temeraire series by Naomi Novak; the Women of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong (currently rereading this at the moment); and the Riley Jenson Guardian series by Keri Arthur (next on my to-do list).
I am actually finally reading "Tod und Teufel" (Death and Devil) from Frank Schätzing, a German author that I really, really like. It's about old cologne and a dark series of assassinations.

My most desire!
Yeah from what I recall the white female wolf was "cursed" -- some thought it a curse and others a blessing. I remember the antagonist was a wolf named Morgra and I don't recall if she also had the ability or wanted to kill the main character. Her siblings and the pack went on a journey and all that.

OMG! Until now I lived under the impression that like, no-one knows this book. It's been a while since I've read it but I vividly remember how much I hated Urquhart!
Despite having 10+ unread books, I plan on re-reading the Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling. I love Seregil more than I can say 😊
The latest book I read was The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. I absolutely loved it, it was amazing.
My favorite books are More Than This by Patrick Ness and Her Name in the Sky by Kelly Quindlen though. They both made me weep like a baby more than once. Highly recommend.
me too! They'd have been great in later stories...like even with Meg's kid LOL
Ohh that's right....I remember them being a star.... yeah beautiful writing but a definite plot point just hanging there forever...ugh! lol
Well if IT is just hte brain...like where's its physical body?? LOL! or essense or whatever? Like even if IT uses other bodies to communicate/talk telepathically....like where is it? And another point...if the Man with the red eyes was basically possessed by IT....would he be like a regular person if not for IT? You know like Charles got all possessed by IT for awhile.....would he ended up with red eyes/IT inside....so was the man with red eyes just a regular dude at some point?
And that is a great point on the people after IT was destroyed... they all just left and went home...but we didn't get to see what happened to the people...just that Meg, Dad, Charles made it home safe.... There are definitely some unanswered questions LOL!

Pratchett is a classic and I agree. I've been a fan, but never went to see him at signings or anything. My favorite contemporary fantasy authors are Robin Hobb and Brandon Sanderson but I've only been able to meet Mrs. Hobb. I recommend it -- they, too, are human!
-- same, except I was sucked in reading Robin Hobb's finale. I love Sanderson ?

I read a lot of books thay pertain to my field of social work and sociology. Right now I'm re-reading "between the world and me" and am in the middle of reading les miserables by Victor Hugo, the full unabridged version. Boy is it dense. I'm enjoying it though.
