I read Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire about a year ago and then read the sequel that's technically a prequel, Down Among the Sticks and Bones just recently. I really loved the concept of the first book, and I'm looking forward to the next one coming out soon!
Stephen King, Duma Key at the moment, but Ive read most of his, Im working my way through by year, I found it hard to carry on with The Dark Tower series though.
Dean Koontz.
Clive Barker
Agatha Christie
Bronte type books, Jane Ayre etc.
Charles Dickens
Harry Potter
Tons of others, these were years ago, I dont read half as much as I used to, though.
I read a lot and have recently started rereading the Cadfael series by Ellis Peters. I love mysteries that take place in interesting places and I love it when they have a realistic historical component.

My favorite book of all time is Howl's Moving Castle! But I'm just getting into the Discworld series and I really like it so far! c:
I'm so excited to read the new addition to the oddfits series ^_^ I like to reread fantasies like the Hobbit and Harry Potter, and magical childhood type things like The Little Princess and The Secret Garden
Definitely The Lord of the Rings. This is my 5th time, btw ^^ and still enjoy it a lot.
I love this thread. right now I'm reading Kathy Reichs's two nights. Very different from her other works, but so far I'm enjoying it. I often reread Harry Potter or A Series of Unfortunate Events. I also have a massive to read list to go through this winter break!
"When the words weigh heavy on the heart. I am lost and led only by the stars"
I've seen it at some bookstores like Green Apple (Dunno if that's outside SF area at all) and other local bookstores! It's pretty cheap given the age of the book.

I'm in Australia...I've never seen it at any of our book stores...it may end up being a Book Depository buy if I decide to get it
I recently finished reading Uprooted by Naomi Novik and can't recommend it enough. It's an awesome fantasy novel that gave me all of the feels.
right? And I don't believe the author is still alive so its not like we can ever get closure on it LOL!
Join my ping group to get notified of new wears. Buying mage amulets for 5 csc each, comment me to sell.
I love Jane Eyre as well. I think I have most of it memorized by now.
My favorite book is A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway. I love his style, it's so simplistic, but complicated at the same time. Give me Hemingway over Fitzgerald or Faulkner anyday.
I generally don't read a book more than once. My huge backlog doesn't allow for it. I think the last books I reread were Blood Meridian and The Crying of Lot 49 which was spring of last year.
Right now I'm inching my way through The Recognitions by William Gaddis which is a 956 page brick that I'm only halfway through. I started it 3 months ago lol.
i love re-reading harry potter & the chronicles of ancient darkness! they've been my favourite series for forever so it's always nice and calming to get back into them.
i just started reading dance, dance, dance by haruki murakami! it's not my favourite work of his so far, but i'm really interested to see how things pan out.
