I'm only a few chapters in (trying to finish up schoolwork! aaaahhh!!) but I'm enjoying it! I've always really liked John Green's work, and this novel in particular does a really good job of describing what it's like to live with a mental illness, so it's really powerful.

I just finished "The Truth About Cats and Wolves" by Alethea Kontis, part of the Nocturne Falls collection, and really enjoyed it. Also currently halfway through "The Chaos of Stars".

When I was a kid I was a big fan of Ella Enchanted. The movie was awful.

I've heard that they're doing an adaptation of Artemis Fowl and it's supposed to be equally terrible.

The Sight was a pretty good book, at least what I remember was good. It's been years and I've had the urge to reread it again.

My favorite re-reads are the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett, the Elemental Magician books by Mercedes Lackey, the Dresden books by Jim Butcher, Master Li and Number Ten Ox by Barry Hughart and the Silver John books by Manley Wade Wellman.

Can pretty well immerse myself in any of those books, although some of them (the ending to Bridge of Birds, for example) will always make me cry at the end.

I have a feeling that this board is probably full of introverts all happily talking about books cause none of this is face to face....

The Sight...is that about the pack of wolves that's 'cursed' or something like that? Or one of the pack members is cursed...

I've heard that apparently Artemis is the good guy rescuing his dad from fairies. Like, did they even read the books? XD

I reread LoTR every so often (5 years maybe?). Otherwise I only reread if there's a new book out in a series and I need a refresher. Recently finished the Broken Earth series (N.K. Jemisin), which was fantastic. And next up is the new book in the Stormlight Archive (Brandon Sanderson).

Okay, I just looked up the books (it's been a while...and I only read the first two), to refresh my memory.

It looks they they're combining the first two books together...as Opal Koboi is mentioned in the plot. Plus, Artemis still kidnaps Holy....I guess we'll have to see
