I saw mention a shoe shop tique style as example: i need a tique shoe store right now.
But I don't want 24/7 stores to take over Subeta, how else am I supposed to make money if everything is available at all times from a shop? And if I can't make money then why would I play?

We'd make other venues for making sP, you'd still make sP from quests (where items would be available from the existing pool of main shop items, or from the 24/7 shops, or something else) and you'd have a lot more venues for spending that sP.
I'm going to make some TINNNYYY tweaks to the restocking formula tonight, and I've written down some methods of making a few long term changes like if items sit in the shop for a long time without any purchases, clear those instead of just blanket clearing the shop and make it so they can't restock for the next few cycles.
I'm getting some really good feedback from the survey so far :)!

I agree with basically everything in that post but I think these points in particular are worth repeating. Over and over again. At the top of our lungs. Such a perfect assessment.
[edit] I am so happy to see all the ideas and acknowledgement of those ideas, even if they aren't right for the site/something that can be implemented. Seriously. You have no idea how happy that makes me.
I restock a lot, but I don't do it by sitting in the shop. I make a list of items I want to buy in subetalodge, then run shop search from there. The reason I do it this way is because there are just too many items in shops to filter through, and too limited just looking in one shop. But by doing it this way, your stats, filters, etc., just don't pick up on how I restock. How many others restock in different ways, that your stats don't pick up on?
Sitting constantly in one shop is just boring and limiting. If that's the only thing you're counting as "restocking" then you're missing the bigger picture. Sure, I've done the one shop thing at times, but its just not how I do the majority of my restocking because its inefficient.
I've said it with respect to other topics, but variety really is the spice of life. You can't keep making everything a task. That won't encourage people to hang around. You want to give people options and choices. There is NOTHING of this site that I spend 100% of my time doing, I don't think there's anything I even spend 20% of my time doing, because that would be just boring. I like the fact that there are a bunch of different things to do and a bunch of different ways in which to do them. THAT's what keeps me coming back. If absolutely everything were a task that forced me to spend time to accomplish it, I would not be here because there would simply not be enough hours in a day to get anything accomplished. I would have to focus my time on one or two activities, and if that's what I liked, then I would find another "game" or website that did only that one thing and did it exceptionally well. That's not what I get from Subeta, what I get here is variety, that's why I put up with the lack of functionality, the bugs and glitches, and other problems.

I think people would restock items if there was actually something to restock. I remember when restocking was the thing to do on Subeta.
You need items that are going to draw people in Those were things that made people want to sit all day on Subeta and restock.
We need more things like this, weird, different things that people want. Not the same old skirt in a bunch of colours that nobody wants.
All those animals that were just released in the vending machine, would have been a great addition to the restocking shops. You keep saying that nobody restocks, they don't restock because the stock is old and outdated.
Instead of getting rid of shops or changing them to some other complicated mess, maybe you should try removing old stock and putting in new stock.
Honestly it feels as if you're trying to get rid of all the ways we actually make money so we'll just get frustrated and put money on the site instead.
EDIT: I absolutely hate questing, that isn't an option for me.
So, bringing back custom items, pretty?
I...I always wanted official custom items to come back in a form, in the cash shop, and then, have them become official site items.
Wouldn't that be awesome. Maybe even let the Custom Wearable people have a shot at it, so our official artists aren't tied up so much. Although I would definitely love to see our artists do this again.
ok if we're talking about custom items, that should be a thing again. i'm detatched from the CW market as a whole (with the exception of my KICKASS JERSEY), but by god would i be into custom items if they weren't required to have the "wearable" component tacked onto them. hello TC fodder
have a CSC fee for item submission (whether as a concept for offical artists to develop, or submitting upon completion, ala CWs), then release every custom item as a r99 restockable and we'd have 1. none of the exclusivity that is such a turnoff for the CW market and 2. incentive to restock again
JUST SAYIN
Some CW artists make wonderful CI, but I often find their CWs not as appealing, so I'd be all for that, haha!
Make it random rarity between r95 and r99 and we have a deal. :D r99 is actually less rare than r95 and r96. THANKS LIZARD MINIONS
Also just an update on the survey results.
The most common result so far: Remove the five second rule. Next most common: Order by price / rarity.

Sopheroo Yes! I'm just getting into collecting items for tc's. Now when I look at things, it's not just "what does the wearable version look like?", it's "OOOOOH, I need that for whoevers tc".
Satyr I agree with everything, especially all being rarity 99, although I think the rarity system needs to be fixed, I have an entire vault full of rarity 90-99 things. They are way too easy to get, they're practically just given away.
EDIT: Awww that's why I have way more r.99's Yes 95-99 is better I think.
huge fan of wearables for obvious reasons, and even I think we need other releases.
Wow, I'd love to see items that are singular/not recolored/high rarity again. For reference, my fave items to RS are the weapon/defence shop items, the strange one off ones like wands, the sunshine crown, kt ring, uber shield etc...
Even the item art is fun to see, and when I manage to grab them, I get a feeling of accomplishment that I don't get from anywhere else on the site.
Also, I really am wondering what non-questing options for earning SP we would get tbh.
Order the main shops by user shop default price, or user shop price? Neither one makes sense, really. User shop would fluctuate and presumably cause lag, and if by npc shop default price.. there's no rhyme or reason in pricing, it'd just make things harder rather than item ID as it now?
5 second rule (while it sucks) is important; it keeps people from buying everything in one fell swoop - especially come keelhaul day. Maybe like.. 3 seconds or something, but not to do away with it entirely otherwise you can just hold down ctrl + f5 and buy every damn thing, or click through the store.
Am I the only one who find that there actually ARE little niches that can be filled with new restockable tier 1-4 weapons? Even with the long list of weapons, there are still some little perks that are missing (ex: weapons of certain tiers that specialize in certain icon attacks and defenses). With that, I actually can argue that Weapons Warehouse and Defend and Conquer could use more items. Heck, we could even just have them be intentionally useless just for more TC items.

We need the 5 second rule to stay, sorry those that want it gone. Otherwise those with super fast connections are going to get everything asap. Also, ordering by price or rarity is just going to make it too easy to know what to grab. So, let's nix both of these right now.

I gave most of my feedback on the survey thingy-- but to sum it up in a nutshell without going massively tl;dr like I did on the survey (lol have fun reading that gais): less filler, more killer.
Instead of 25 flats (in odd-circumstancial colors no less!), 25 marbles, 25 tank tops.... why can't we have 5 killer staple colors upon first* release?
*Why do we get 25 colors for an item that people may or may not even respond well to (see the marbles, where 75% of users said they wouldn't use them because the eyes look weird) (I'm not saying everything has to be exactly what people want but why release SO many when 5 standard colors could be released and if not one likes them that's that)? Why not release 5, and if people love them and are using them constantly in a year retire the deflated ones and release 5 more at the same time (or 10 and 10, depending on what exactly it is.. good footwear is so needed on subeta it's not even funny).
Timely retirements is something that shouldn't be exclusive to Subeautique. Nice things in general, is something that shouldn't be exclusive to Subeautique. Sets, are something that shouldn't be... you get the point.
NOT. EVERYTHING. HAS. TO. BE. WEARABLE. NOT. EVERYTHING. HAS. TO. BE. FOCUSED. AS. A. WEARABLE.
A tank top has basically one purpose: wearable. Some people might toss one in a TC but 95% of users are just going to wear it.
A bookcase, on the other hand, is a FANTASTIC TC fodder item. It could also be a really fantastic layering background wearable item, too.
It could, also, be a combo.
Make several types of restocking woods (which could also be made wearable, like floorboards). Make hammers, nails, screwdrivers, woodstains, staining rags (all of which are fantastic TC fodder items and could also be made wearable extremely easy). Wood + Saw + Screws = Bookshelf (Different wood + etc = Pine, Oak, Cedar, etc). BOokshelf + Rag + Stain = Finished Bookshelf. Same can be done with a wide array of tools and parts. Which gives TC people, Restockers, and Wearable people things to do and new things to do it with.
I feel like the wears we do typically get are so binary that eh, do we really not have enough miniskirts? Wasn't 49038545 enough? Why not some nice backgrounds, and nice wigs (a lot of the Morostide ones are...... seasonal).. and layering things. Floors, Walls, Wallpaper, Different types of lighting, things hanging from the ceiling, beds, dressers, kitchens, patios, brick, wood, studies, and so on. Things that'd be great wears + items, pleease.
Also more books :') And household whatnots. And food... god there's SOOOOOOOoOOOOoooOooooOoo many boards for foods that subeta still lacks... why ):
[edit] EDIT TO ADD GAWD YES @ MORE WEAPONS. I WOULDN'T EVEN CARE IF LIKE, THE RESTOCKING WEAPONS WERE JUST FOR SHOW-- STOCK THEM IN ALL THAT GLITTERS OR THE SMITHY BECAUSE THERE IS SERIOUSLY SO MANY REAL WORLD WEAPONS THAT SUBETA DOESN'T HAVE.
Bows, Crossbows, Machetes, Steel Pipe -cough-, and spears and tons of other stuff I can't even right now. Why can't they just be for show?
IN regards to restocking weapon based things-- I won't mention spells galore because that's already been mentioned AND I AM SOOO EXCITED FOR THAT YOU DON'T EVEN OKAY... but why not mods? When was the last damn time we got a new mod crystal?
When was the last time we got new equippables... if they break the system so much then 1) why can we attach 409385945 dark ___ potions? and 2) why not just get rid of them entirely? Because as it stands now Idk why having more things like the pylonics/vials/dark ___ potions couldn't hurt? They could definitely be more pricey too-- like one that has a 75% chance of freezing that restocks for 500k. Why not have attachables that offer a 100% 3-5 round curse or blessing. Idk.
@ first point: cries pathetically
@ second point: the thing about the food items is that many of them are BEAUTIFUL, the new Lounge items this year are gorgeous, I can tell that and in no uncertain terms: I hate looking at food. Drawings or not, it makes me feel blegh. But compare them to the current weapons stock
Particularly the and sitting next to each other.
I'd love to collect weapons, a sizeable percentage of my pets are /named/ for weapons in someway, but I like things that look nice, and while a few of the weapons were revamped the other year, the majority of them are just not attractive, and generally I don't mind 1 or 2 'ugly old' items mixed in with the newer ones in TCs.
I have the same problem with the Atebus shop, about 10-12 of my pets are set in a futuristic setting, I'd want sci fi items for all of them (bluntly: I have no damn interest in steampunk so those nice shiny copper items aren't of interest to my TCs), I've been waiting for that space suit to be updated for five years, it's not that I don't want these items, it's that they're damn hard to use, and I strongly doubt with an entire Galactic colour and two non-steampunk mecha pets and one modern warfare looking experiment + all the other pets that people happen to pick but don't "look the part", I'm the only one who wants stuff that would fit those characters.
My problem: lots of pets I want to buy for, limited items that fit them, boring repeated TCs. What I want: shiny new items to spend my sP on. Things I currently do: not spend sP.

I know Subeta has been taking Atebus down the steampunk route, and it doesn't matter how much I may dislike that, but there has never been an official removal of Blackmoon and his influence, he just faded into the background.
IMO it would make far more sense, and keep a lot more people happy + bring interesting new items to the page if the Atebus shop wasn't just closed, but altered. Non-steampunk tech, items and clothing being the focus (and minions being moved to the minion shops etc...), but due to Atebus' scorn for Subeta these items are blackmarket. Blackmoon, unable to make a healthy profit through his archaic and out of date battle mechs (which is what the Cadogre and Endevour started out as) restyles himself as part of the Atebus underworld, smuggling Subeta-tech to Atebus. This makes opportunities for limited time only items being introduced through the hustler as part of that underworld. Re-vamping and re-releases of old Atebusian items and the introduction of new items, plus the continued survival of a fairly major NPC, who currently is just sitting on an empty adoption centre of nothingness at the top of a large rock.
"s for Calvin, he set out to build a sprawling technologically-dependent city on the moon. Everything would be manufactured at Blackmoon Incorporated,"
Subetapedia tells us this guy is an intelligent driven bloke, why is he sitting by picking lint out of his toes while Yun takes over?
[edit] Sorry Amber, pings are messed up again =_=;
+1 to everything you just said ;w; particularly real-life and modern weapons.
No, you're not the only one, because I suggested this for a reason, I just didn't find a good way of saying it.
I'm glad someone who is clearly much savvier than me in that field agrees :D What would I do without you. I DON'T KNOW.
