Don't get me started on the number of booteh shorts.
That gave me a laugh. (The relevant emoji emoticons don't work.)
Another thing I hope we don't get is a week of new underwear. How many HAs do we see just wearing panties and bras or underpants?
Everything you posted is exactly what I meant by 'where did the fun go' and I want to give you a round of applause. :)
Bless my heart! Dat butt.
I may be one of very few people on here who doesn't mind buff older men in short shorts, but the HA with it's cankles and undefined... everything... not so much ;w; I'd love to see some longer shorts -- ones that have the same amount of care and attention to detail paid to them as the mini shorts P= Also we all know who wants those bras and panties ¬_¬ I see you over there old Wiz, stroking your... beard...
I know, I really love the different things, we have too many plain and normal stuff. (although I want those new flats in about 600 more colours).
When something unusual or unexpected comes out (like the animals in the chance machine) I was overjoyed. I wish the artists would think outside the box more.
There needs to be more books, and stuff in the Spells Galore, maybe revamp the scrolls. I like the TC fodder.
Abetus Shop needs more space things, more ROBOTS. More SPACE things. More everything really, there is so much that could be done. Cyberpunk restockable TC stuff would be nice, not even wearables.
[edit] The whole mention of slowing down on restockables is terrifying to me, I mean what is the alternative? Only during holidays and collections? I mean the amount of shops are dying only because new things aren't being put into them.
I'm also worried about the alternatives we're going to get for obtaining items. We've already got -
Morostide, Vesnali and Masquerade where we have to participate in activities to earn shop currency.
The Quest Shop and Forum Shop where we have to earn points by doing quests and posting in the forums.
Games such as Rock Paper Scissors and Crypts for special items.
A couple of vending machines which results in filling our shops with worthless junk in hope of getting a special item.
The Recycle Beast where we have to turn items in for shop points.
SBQ where the restocks are so low now we've got to dedicate our lives to it if we want to buy anything from there.
Special events are fun but do we really need to jump through hoops for every single item we want every day of the year?

Yeah, reflection and mind reader have nice items, but they're still really boring games, so I didn't play more than 10 days after their revamp.
No matter how Stargazer gets revamped, I don't think it will become a daily activity of mine.
It doesn't encourage me to do more on site. It just annoys me.
Looks like is asking for input to recitfy this for the next event here:

Hopefully it works.

Special events are fun but do we really need to jump through hoops for every single item we want every day of the year? There's no special shop for Morostide? We've got trick or treating and the pumpkin patch. There are special shops for New Years and Survival though. But yeah I do agree with the main point you're trying to make.
My mistake. We've got to participate in yet other ways for this holiday. Plus there was a mini plot last year to gain new items because there was hardly anything new in TOT.
You're acting like plots and different ways to participate are a bad thing :/ Unless you're playing catch-up there's generally plenty of time to get the different items for holidays.
I don't think we need so many "special" shops like RB/Crystal Shop/etc. for non-holiday items, at least not compared to restocking. But items in those special shops take a long time to retire, generally. SubQ sucks. Vending sucks if you're trying for special items but vending takes minutes, and hey you've got fragging fodder (not to mention when special prizes are released in specific machines, the other items plummet in price so there's some extra fragging fodder for you).
Like yeah there's a lot to do but on second thought, it's not really too much imo /shrugs
There's nothing wrong with events because they are fun. My post was in relation to Keith's comments about the site moving away from restocking. There's also a plan to make the Atebus shop items prizes for Stargazer. If the Atebus shop is then closed, any new Atebus items will also be Stargazer prizes.
It's going to be too much if more NPC shops close down so we can only get new items by extra 'participation activities' introduced to the site. Surely people are participating by restocking in the NPC shops?
Well yeah, like I said we don't need more "special" shops and ways to get items compared to restocking. But I just don't think there are too many as it is or anything. Getting rid of restocking would probably completely screw over the economy on top of making anything at all a pain in the ass to get, I don't even want to get into that haha
The reason restocking is profitable is because not every user does it. Which means, you have a higher chance of having an item for sale that they need.
If you take away restocking and all you have to offer are holiday items from the shops... that anyone can buy at any time, you are seriously cutting down on the amount of money any one who restocks can make. It takes MONTHS for holiday items to see, because everyone has access to it. Its generally once in a blue moon that I manage to sell something from holidays gone by. If I didn't restock, I would never make any money. Not truly. Quests provide a bit of sP. Vending gives you 250 items that aren't usually worth the tokens, but you can frag them.. But if I sit down for 2 hours and just restock and watch netflix - I can make about 10 million profit if I manage to snag a few super rares.
If you take that away, you're going to be removing a huge source of income from a lot of players and it may just scare them off. Its already a huge "Spend real money to make money, draw art/cws to make money" sort of game and restocking is literally the only guaranteed way to make any sort of sP in a timely manner when you can't spend cash and don't have artistic talents.

This has quite a few good points. Wearables are fun. My longest section on my wishlist is the one I have for wearables. I really enjoy them. But I have to admit that it's getting a bit much. The achievements I get by sheer accident are the wearables. Maybe the solution is to take a step back and do some new things to keep the player base entertained and let the wearables balance out. How about some new games? Maybe a plot linking the mini plots together and increasing the background of Subeta? A restock war? Reading Drive? Or the beta wardrobe? I've been wondering when the wardrobe overhaul will be done. How about the Minion Zooalogical Park idea? I remember thinking it sounded like a lot of fun but then it just seemed to vanish. Pets, minions, stickers, collections, there is a list I don't know how long of things that could be done to give the wearables a break. I'm not saying stop all together but tone it back and look at some other areas of the site.
