I'm totally with you, it'd be awesome if we get some releases (not locked), like rare retired items that are lost with the time.

But also with Keith, it'd be great to have CS items sold for sP. And if that could be applied for rare collection items as well... you get it directly to your collection, so people would not deflate the value or get rich reselling it more expensive.

All of this has been extremely confusing but if I buy an item that happens to be wearable but I wanted it for a pet's TC, I would be almighty pissed if it flew into my wardrobe with no escape.

Except a lot of people are on here during the events unless the site is crashing a lot or lagging very badly.

I'm on here most of the day whether on my phone or my computer. I participate a lot during events but I still can never afford all of the prizes I need in prize shops nor do I usually get every prize available when they're awarded instead of a choice - not because I'm not here but because either I cannot be here 24/7 (sorry work gets busy and I have a life outside of my computer too) or because I'm still training my pets to be strong enough to beat all challengers.

Making prize items into something locked into your account and unsellable would actually discourage me from spending so much time trying to get the most participation points I can, since its never enough for the top (which is why I gave up on throwing snowballs - time limits were put into place way too late so there was no hope for the vast majority of us to get anywhere near the top). I honestly think this would reduce the average player's desire to try for full completion because unless you can be here all day for the duration of the event, you won't be getting the items and you can't even bother buying them later.

Also I don't think a CS flash sale for sP locked items will at all stabilize CSC prices. I think it would drive them higher because items bought in the CS with CSC will be more expensive/coveted since ones bought directly with sP from the sales can't be moved out of the wardrobe: no trading/lending/selling/TCs/galleries.

I do personally like the idea, if items are purchasable both 'normally' and 'discounted sp rate for wardrobe', just as long as we can get them either way. Really, it's conveniency, and for people who love wardrobe items (plus it would save a bit of money!)

That there is an option between getting the item like normal with CSC or the alternate option of paying sP at a discount but have it locked to the account, then my opinion changes to a maybe.

But I still don't think this should be applied to CWs because I'm just not a fan of the whole private thing.

Edit: you may need to actually change your first post to have her's quoted because she deciphered it really well and easily to understand, and I think you might get more people on board with the idea if they saw it was an option of buying it one way or the other, rather than, only one of the options would be available (which is what I personally took from your post).

That aside, I still don't like this idea. At all. I just don't want items that are bound to my account. Maybe today I want it on my account forever, but tomorrow I might not. Wearables should not be like real life tattoos - there forever. Then again, even tattoos can be removed if you pay the money for laser removal. So yeah, no to this. If the item is mine, no matter how I got it, I should be able to do with it what I want. I also still fail to see how this wouldn't be a collection. Books - I choose a book, read it to my pet, and it is out of reach forever. Plushies - I choose a plushie, put it in my collection, and it is out of reach forever. Clothing item - I choose a wearable, buy it and watch it go into my wardrobe, and can never remove it again. That's a collection. Yes, I can wear it all I want, but if it is stuck in there forever, it is STILL A COLLECTION.

Okay after reading the little explanation by Cathii, it makes much more sense. For whatever reason I just saw "You earn said achievement and you get locked item" and I instantly thought back to all of the retired achievements with prizes I'll never get, but I can at least BUY the prizes I like... and I was "Nope."

So I'm a tad bit on board... but first... what is "discounted". The CSC to sP conversion changes all the time, so how are you going to first determine that... and then discount it? Also, maybe make it account-bound (like loyalty boxes), not wardrobe-bound, that way people can use the items for TCs, galleries, etc, and also it could be applied to other items.

I would rather just have a boutique sp shop where we can buy overlays-without-icons at high prices. (And absolutely not for CWs, like... not ever. That's a can of worms.)

When it comes to events, what I'm seeing (and I do share the feeling) is this anxiety because most event things retire. And they retire quickly. So it's one-time "now or never", which leaves most people really uncomfortable, especially considering glitches during events.

In that case, they really have to follow the line of skins and site themes, imo.

This is a TERRIBLE idea! The reason I left THAT place was because I spent MY money but couldn't do what I wanted with the items I PAID FOR! If people build up relationships with others here and want to share or trade or whatever, let us be adults and do just that. Please don't ruin subeta. :(

See now that sounds excellent but with some of the older shops like the islanders and others would we be able to buy or earn points another way because in some shops theres items in there other than wearables that are needed for collections I think I saw someone else suggest making this open to collections too not just wardrobe.

I am HATING this idea, not all players can be here all the or spend hoards of cash on csc. It feels like them players,including myself are being alienated more everyday. I would like the chance to be able to get things (over time) if I am unable to be here, if an event is going on.
