What We Expect of Our Members

We expect our members to be active and participate within the cult (and we have several ways to participate: KS forums, Discord chat and this thread!) when they are active on the site. If you cannot be active on the site due to whatever reason just let us know, that way we don't think you've forgotten us! And that is it! (Aside from following all Subeta and Group Rules 😉 ) We are what our members make us, and we have something for everyone (if we don't we'll make it if our members ask for it!).

Our much beloved friend and co-owner Innerflame passed away on August 1, 2013. We would not be the group we are today without all of the dedication she put into building our community. She was a kind and beautiful soul and we will miss her greatly ❤

If you wish to speak to any of us, feel free to ping us here, or use our Staff Ping group and whoever is online at the time will be happy to answer any questions you have. Also, all of our members may take up leadership roles as needed to help run games or give their input into what we do. We're a democracy not a dictatorship 😉 If we sound like the group for you please fill out this brief questionnaire (please remember to copy the ping group for our staff!) and hang around here for a little bit and chat with our current members 😄 As soon as a member of staff gets online we can send you an invite to the group!

Kindred Spirits is always accepting age 18+ players who are already involved in other groups - specific focus or general/social. The main thing is that when you join KS you spend some time with us, because if you're going to join and spend no time getting to know us or playing/chatting with us, there is no point in being a member.

Awesome! Just saw this after taking a break from wrapping gifts. I'm covered in gold glitter from an uber glittery gift bag, and I accidentally hulk'd a tube of mini bows which ended up everywhere. Atleast the recipient will soon share my glitter-ness.

Goodmorning KSrs

Seems so strange coming to a thread with so few posts after having our other thread for so long. It went over 20k posts and 1000 pages! With the limits that will never happen again. But at least this one loads.

And atm subeta seems to be loading better. I hope it keeps up.

Mom had a dr appt yesterday and then we ran some errands and then she realized she hadn't gotten her prescription and we were unsure if he had called it in so we stopped on the way home and he hadn't and the woman that does the refills said she would call and we could pick it up after 6pm. My brother and mom took the car to get the tires fixed which turned out to take until after 6, so after running another errand they stopped at the pharmacy to get it and - no call was ever made. Could not get in touch with a dr. So no meds. She just called, they said it was getting called in now. After about ten minutes mom called the pharmacy to check - nothing came in yet. Will call and check in about a half hour. Really frustrating/infuriating because it's a pain med and she's out of them now so she really needs them.

Won't be around much if at all tomorrow (or likely until Saturday). Need to get the car packed for Kentucky before we leave in the morning for mom's dr appt (with traffic can be close to a 30 minute drive - usually closer to 20) in the city. Eye dr visit always takes hours the way it's all set up. We'll head to KY right from the office. If we get out by noon (appt is 9:45am) I shouldn't have to drive in the dark. I"m not confident enough driving in Kentucky to want to drive there in the dark. We are apparently my brother's elves because all he really wants is for Mom and I to decorate, or help decorate, his tree. xD

Going to have coffee and get dressed since I will eventually have to go out to get mom's meds. Will be on and off all day in between trying to get stuff done. Will see how much procrastinating I do. I'm good at that. :)

As for members, you can use the member list for the ksrs ping/forum group. Link here for your convienence. I would see which names you recall seeing. We have some "members" that do not participate at all any more or mostly never did. Usually newer joins. Some I've not actually seen on subeta let alone in KS for awhile.

glitter is never my favorite thing. I am having a harder time every year finding cards without it for Christmas.

Hope everyone is having a good day! I've been getting in touch with friends in order to send them xmas cards, some of them I haven't heard from in awhile so it's nice to hear from them again. One is an old high school friend who just moved back to my city and I'm making plans with to meet up, and another is someone I've known online for almost 15 years.

This is a good time for me to mention that if you would like an xmas card from me, feel free to smail me your address!

Yeah, a lot of xmas cards overdo it with the glitter. Mine isn't bad, it has owls with glittery wings but the glitter is sealed so it can't come off.

I feel you, my doctor's office is bad with handling prescriptions if you don't get them right from the doctor during your appointment. I only stay with them because the office is 5 minutes away from me.

I got the cutest xmas Stitch plush from the disney store, it has a hoodie! Also saw Stitch stuff at Hot Topic with your fav quote on it!

- OH MY GOD I WANT THAT ONE SO BAD BUT IT'S NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE ANYMORE! D: And the Disney store here is in a mall I abhor so I don't ever go (I use the one near my grandparents, but I don't think we'll go this year). And there's SOOO much stuff at Hot Topic! I usually stop in like once a month to check what they've got, but near the holidays I don't touch the malls around here at all (higher crime rate and soo crowded). I'll have to go once the new year starts! :D

Pretty much the same for us. The dr is 3 miles down the road and we've been going since moving here. They didn't used to be so bad the the prescription lady seems to be not doing her job as well the last few years.
