had a very rough night last night. silly foot didn't want to cooperate so I could go to sleep.

I've realized that I've honestly not felt like myself for a loong time, and I'm starting to again, which is nice. :D And for the first time in a while I'm actually looking forward to the future. Been snowing here since about 9:30am. Last I looked we were at least an inch and counting but that was awhile ago. Glad we decided not to go out today and to spend the day finishing up around here and planning what we need to get done. Not that I've done any of that. Didn't get to sleep until about 2am and once I fell asleep I really slept. Woke up with a scratchy/painful throat though. Really hoping I"m not getting sick and if so that it isn't as bad as my brother's cold. I have stuff to do and that I need to help mom do and it all has to get done, sick or not.

Changed my ha again. This one was for a giveaway. I'd not have changed yet otherwise. I'm clicking the heart in case it all works but I'm guessing once again we're not getting back the total we had for HA likes.

- Did I never tell you I was leaving my university after this semester? I forget I've been MIA and haven't really shared things that are going on. I'm completely switching what I'm doing, and I'm ready to be done with a big university. I'm going to take classes at one of the community colleges near the house, with the intent to join their nursing program after a year (have a few biology classes I have to take first).

Ok, my turn to change. Saved a few for the season since I won't be able to do much for at least a week.

Of course! I expect nothing less from the queen of obligations. :P (as a cult rep, and all) lol sure hope you take that as humorously as I try to present it Overall, I'm not worried. I send small prezzies throughout the year to those on my "naughty" list, which has the opposite meaning of the typical one. And like I said, in my own way I save up on things throughout the year and while the majority of my gift giving was done in the last week or so, I still wait to see what gets removed or added to the list to see if I can accommodate.

In time they will get better, hun. We've both got helluv Dr bills to pay off which really sucks, not to mention that all the Dr's I've been to in the past year have changed their policies to "if you have a balance, you must pay it to be seen" OR the latest one from my GP (general practitioner) is "if you haven't met your deductible, there's a $50 deposit". I mean, WTF is that?!!! While I was too shocked to ask specifics at the time (I had $40 on me to carry over for 5 days and I needed groceries), I have to wonder how long they hold that deposit, where it even goes - did they set up a separate account for these deposits? - and when it will be returned to you. Everything healthcare related is going to the toilet, and I work for a "fortune 500" company but does that mean we get good healthcare?? FFFFFF nooooo!!

Did a bit of present wrapping today. Trying to rest up today after the shopping. Head is killing me and I am tired. Just did easy wrapping. So many of you looks so cute.

Evening all! Nothing much to report, just waiting to hear back about the job. I managed to obtain a gift for my mom (photo mug with pictures of us together), and will probably add her fav tea and a fleece throw to go with it. All my gifting on subeta is done. Starting to get xmas cards arriving in the mail, and I hung them up on my wall on a line of string with mini clothespins. I'll have to take a picture when I get more cards on it.

@ Iratze I went through 4-5 changes of major (lol finance? what was I thinking?), but it was worth it to realize what wasn't working for me and find one that did.

@ slippy After I had foot surgery, I slept with a pillow under my lower leg so that my foot was in the air, and didn't put my blanket over my foot which left nothing touching it. It was the only way to prevent pain from rolling over on my foot or having it press against the mattress/blanket.

lol I did some gift wrapping a couple days ago and I'm still finding glitter on my hands, face and arms.

yep I did the same thing but it was the burning sensation on top of my foot, and no matter what I did , nothing seemed to help until I took some pain meds. last night was much better.

Morning Everyone :D I had my last exam this morning, which took less than an hour. Then I ran to the bookstore to pick up a book I've been looking for (finally found a B&N that had it, 'cause I had a gift card). Then put gas in the car and now I'm lounging around. Probably going to do quests, and then maybe mess with the HA. Anywho, should be around most of the day.

- The glitter for the holiday drives me nuts! I swear everything has glitter these days, and it gets on everything!

I still have a lot to do. I see a very busy weekend in my future.

ok! that was exactly the reason i asked. I mean I looooove getting presents. IRL i am like a four year old before her birthday. When i was younger i got so nervous with excitement it was hard to fall asleep lol. But i figured not everyone felt that way. It is so weird to read about all your docter bills. It is so different here. We have like a own risk of 400-800 euro (you can decide for yourself) and we pay the insurance company about 80-100 euros a month (depends on your own risk) and after that everything that you need is covered. GP is even without own risk, so it feels free. I mean if you want a boob job or something you have to pay it yourself but if you need to see a docter because you broke something it is covered.

nice! always nice if you can rely on others :P and stupid foot. Hope you will feel better soon!

Hi everyone! Went over to my parent's house yesterday and wrapped presents. It was fun. I really like doing that but I'm very picky. Mom says no one will notice if the stripes line up. But I do! lol

Anyway have a headache so hope everyone sick or in pain gets better and all of you have a nice day. <3
