Hello, dears. Went to the comic shop yesterday and I freaked out because of too many people. Sigh. Oh, well. Then we went out for Mexican food and that was good. Sitting here watching Beauty and the Beast that I got on blue ray for my birthday. Excited for the live action version. It looks so neat in the previews.

just make sure it is the ksrs one not ks I think. Have a nice stay-cation, even if you are injured.

snow is very nice if you have a warm home and nowhere to go.

Ah, pants. Mostly I wear yoga type pants around the house and then jeans out of the house. Stretchy type jeans are great.

Long day. Basically uneventful. Drive was pretty fine. Little traffic compared to weekdays. Stopped at a big grocery store on the way home. We don't have it up here. It's huge. Has international food (many with directions written in the language of the country it's from), huge produce and cheese sections. A large wine section. A really nice deli and bakery. We had not been in a few years and they opened a 2nd one that was closer to visit on our drive home so we stopped. Bought too much. Was going to also stop at Dillard's which we don't have up here but we took so long at the other store we would not have gotten close to home before dark if we had. Stopped for dinner before coming home.

Here at home we were greeted by my brother who is sick again and instead of just being a normal mopey sick person he's an angry sick person who apparently cannot actually take care of himself to get himself well and it's really draining and difficult to have sympathy for him when you just want to hide from him instead.

I'm just going to try to relax and maybe get a little ice cream in a bit. Going to watch some tv, do a little questing maybe and then hopefully get some sleep in my own bed. :)

Morrrning dreary day, no sunshine

I've found most often that guys are the more pathetic of the species when it comes to being sick. No offense to your brother, or you, but it's just not surprising to me anymore. Most men become complete babies.
I get a 'little' angry b/c when I get sick - and it's not often - I'm still stuck doing things. Through my years w/ my girls, I've found that they tend to act up more when I was sick which of course, often got me angry. Thankfully, I've gotten sick a lot less over the years but back then, there wasn't a "sick day" as a single mother which was more than aggravating.

Glad your drive was mostly uneventful. Nothing worse than those idiot holiday travelers that have nothing better to do than to think of themselves and get in your way. :P

Was the shop like Jungle Jims? I love that place and loved it even more when it was like 10min down the road from me.

I love yoga pants!! That reminds me... really need to get some more but everyone has those pants that have the designed upper waist band that just drives me nuts. Had trouble a few weeks ago just trying to find a pair of sweats that had a fuzzy inner lining.
Don't really go many places to shop, tho lol

Still having my coffee. Slept late-ish (for me). Will get to the SS stuff sometime today. Got about 2 inches of snow. Looks pretty since it's the first snow. Felt not too cold outside when I walked down the driveway to get the paper. I'm hoping not to have to shovel but I've not checked the weather yet to see if we are still expected to get rain later.

It was Jungle Jim's. :D My brother found it when he worked around Cincy (he lived in Florence KY att) and sometimes we would meet him there and spend the afternoon there and the mall just down the highway (forget which mall that is on the northern side of the city). It was fun. I hadn't known they opened a 2nd one on the east side until Mom said she wanted to stop on the way home and I went to recall where I had to drive and found it. Sure was quicker, even with the off highway back ups from holiday shoppers, than going all the way up north. It's the only place out here my mom can get spiced ham which we get all the time in NJ. And I can get cajun roast beef. I hope I like it as much as I used to. Hopefully next time we visit we have more time to really look. We were there at least 1 1/2 hours as it was and there was still much we didn't look at.

I need to finish decorating our tree today. We didn't finish before heading south and then we decorated my brother's tree while there. But that's fine, I'll be rewarded when he comes for Christmas with potato broccoli soup that he made while we were decorating his tree. :D

YES!! That's awesome you went there. It's been far too long for me, although I spend a majority of my time over in the Asian section. :P Was it the Tri-County mall you guys went to? Down the street from J.J. (more southern, tho) and the area is Springdale. Or is the J.J. in Fairfield the one you were referring to? I think I may of heard of another, but the one in Fairfield is much closer to me, presently.

Just picked up my tree on Friday. Didn't go for a prelit this time (only tried it once) but I have plenty of lights for it. The only thing I need to do.... "only" being the keyword.... is finish moving my stuff out of the living room - I literally have no place for it so I might toss it in the attic - and find the ornaments I want to decorate it w/ this year. Not to mention, take down the fall leaves/lights off the window and put up the winter ones. sigh

Oh... just to mention... finding white corded lights for a white tree is a PITA! :P (everyone has green corded lights)

Yes it was the tri-county mall and the Fairfield JJ we used to go to! This time we went to the eastgate JJ and were going to go to the Eastgate mall after but as I said, no time.

Been hearing not so good things about pre-lit trees. Never had one. As annoying as it is, I do like stringing the trees myself. I use way more lights than any pre-lit tree would have. lol I saw some white corded lights when we were out but I don't know where it was. I was surprised because yeah you don't see them often.

Evening all! It was another rainy day here so I just stayed home and worked on catching up on a few tv shows, looking forward to watching The Librarians tonight. Really like the new bird ornaments on here, reminds me that I need to go to the park soon and look for my favs like this one.

Still trying to figure out what to get my mom for xmas, I'm thinking of going to a crafts festival next weekend to hopefully find something.

Morning Everyone :D sips coffee I know I know, I've still been very MIA, but I'm trying here! I've been trying to get on and do some quests everyday (gotta make money to spend on you lot somehow). Otherwise, I've been spending a lot of time marathoning Criminal Minds (my new TV obsession for a bit). Thankfully there's like 11 seasons so I should be set through the holidays, other than the fact that I might already be halfway through Season 6... Anywho, we're in town until the 23rd, then we're heading out to the beach to visit the grandparents for about 2 weeks, so we can spend Christmas and New Years down there. AND, this year is the big 21, so I'm probably a little too happy about that currently. I hope everyone is doing well!

First snowy/sleety morning in my area. Looks more dreary than pretty outside. Doubt we'll get much more than a dusting.

Got my tree and lights up on Sunday. Was a very busy woman and while I still haven't found the ornaments I want, I'm just glad to see lights around the house. Makes it feel so much better.

Love the new HA. :D I suppose w/ more expensive pre-lit trees, it might be better but mine wasn't so by the second year, half of it would work and the other half didn't. Then I got more lights for it and the next year they worked again. sigh I just didn't like my experience w/ one.

I did the same thing. I have lights everywhere, which means I actually feel like it is Christmas. Which is nice. hahahahahahaha, we have an app on our phone where we make lists. That helps, since I can say very precisely what I want. What brand etc.

I am at work waiting for time when I can leave I was 0 productive today but oh well.

Also is there anyone who does NOT want gifts under their tree?

I totally get that, and went through s/thing similar just a couple months ago.
I didn't even really peep in, except for occasionally, since Subeta had far too many errors then for me to accept. I just wanted to be alone. Glad to see you pop in and I hope things have improved for you.

Morning Everyone :D I'm having a lazy morning; just sitting here drinking my coffee.. it's super dreary outside, might rain. Definitely too warm for snow here though (we're in the 50s today), such a pity. I'd take some snow anytime now. Probably won't get any until Jan./Feb. like usual.

- I am trying, but it's hard to be social when you literally have no motivation for anything at all. But, yesterday, I thoroughly cleaned my room and bathroom (attached to my room) and just doing that and having everything put away is making me a feel a little bit better, since it probably hadn't been cleaning in months. I'm not actually getting too much done in the way of quests... it's just so boring. But, I do have a decent bit to spend on you lot (and no you can't weasel your way out of gifts) already, so anything I do from here on out will just be icing on the cake. Otherwise, I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel with where I'm headed in the next year or so, or at least I'm not stressing about it as much so I'll take that as a good sign. (Now if I could just be done with exams so I could be completely done with my current university, that would be great).

- Man, I could just sit and watch it for hours. But, I got mom and dad interested too, so now I've had to slow down to only watching in the evenings with them (so now I have to find something else to watch during the day).

My little sugar plum! :P And stfu telling her what I do or don't want, lol. I save up on shit throughout the year and giving up some stuff I had no use for has really helped. If it wasn't for the fact that I like giving so much, I wouldn't have come around this time of year b/c I don't want people to feel obligated to send me anything.
In that light, there are a handful who are getting bombed b/c I don't follow such obligations and I'm relentless in my gratitude for those who are in my Subetan life. <3

I've felt exactly the same way - although for different reasons. No motivation to do absolutely anything and it has really caught up w/ me. Things are getting better, slowly but surely, as this is the first month that my brother has split the rent w/ me so that gave me some relief. some
