I've never had snow on Christmas Day and I don't mind as I loathe the cold. But if me and revs ever have enough money to move out of state he'll most likely want to move where it snowsXD

Today just draggged on and on, relentlessly. So will this weekend.. but hey, no annoying (or sleeping) supervisor! lol

Afternoon Everyone :D We had some freezing rain overnight, but I think anything left behind has melted (thank god). People here drive like maniacs. We don't have many plans here... just need to run to the store to get some Christmas cards to send out. We usually get personal cards for immediate family, and then buy the big packs for people whom we don't talk to too often. I'll be around most of the day.. I did all my quests and stuff already, so I'll most likely be watching Netflix and popping in and out. :D I hope everyone has a good weekend!

- See, I much rather like the cold than the hot, because I sweat so much. I'm honestly not sure how I survive outside all day at camp in 90+ weather all summer. And I absolutely LOVE snow, but here we tend to get snow, and then a layer of ice on top, which makes it extremely hard to play in, which is sad.

- Oh, I wouldn't touch the post office. XD We have a LOT of UPS stores around here, so I usually ship stuff out of there, as the lines are a lot less (and textbook returns are already paid for so it doesn't matter where you go). And I'm pretty sure UPS is cheaper around here anyway.

- Oh wow, I would have never known you were in Idaho (I'm not sure how I've never asked in the first place). :D

Been a decent day so far. Roads were touch and go but it was mostly just wet and warmer as I drove southerly for work (which is only 8 miles :P ).
Now if I could stop waking up an hour or 2 before my alarm goes off, I'll be in good shape! :D

I think I've only used a UPS one time. Thankfully, I never have to send packages but the few times I did, I used the PO and yeah, it's pricey.
Would love to be at home watching Netflix, or even snoozing. :P

The moving is slow AF. I've still got a living room full of stuff (mostly clothes) that I have no where to put - and that's not saying I have a lot, it just means that my closet is less than 3ft across so I'm extremely limited. Not to mention the dresser I was going to use is probably impossible to fix sooo I'm about to throw it all in the attic and say the hell w/ it. (which is already stuffed w/ other people's crap) Thanks about my HA. 😽 You haven't been changing as much as you used to. :(

Good afternoon KSrs

Did not go to the antique/flea market. Was too icy early (and I was awake in the middle of the night and did not get up early anyway once I fell back to sleep). I went to see what the driveway was like at about 10am. It was an ice rink. We never did get our paper delivered today. I put melt stuff down just where mom and would be walking and then spent an hour or so un-icing the car and shoveling the ice where it was breaking up. Let the car run a good long time and headed out around noon. Mom was worried about my stress about driving (there were a lot of accidents and the main east/west highway through the city had been closed for hours at the time) and I was stressed more about the parking lots and her walking and possibly slipping, which would be catastrophic. So in the end we went and got stuff for me to make peanut butter reese's rice crispie treats and a couple other things, had breakfast out and came home. lol Parking lot in both places was icy and slushy. Better where cars actually drove. Mom just held on to me and we took our time. For some reason people seemed nice today with waiting patiently for mom to cross.

Have all sorts of stuff to do around here but I can't seem to get myself started on any of them.

Hope you get some sleep and that the new year brings good things.

I can't believe it's nearly Christmas. I feel like I've done a crap job at Christmas shopping this year, but at least I've bought for everyone...I hope! :D I'm still trying to find something exciting for my Grandma, but she's hard to buy for. I'm actually thinking of bringing her a special beer from Austria and maybe a few other small things.

Things are good here. Just busy. I've got a second little reader book in the works with my illustrations, but it's taking them forever to clear the sketches and I'm afraid I'm going to end up being stuck working on it over Christmas. I've decided to start doing some of the colouring now even though it's not all been cleared to get ahead. Hopefully it works out and doesn't backfire on me and I'll have wasted all of my time.

Teaching is still going alright. This unit was less stressful than the first so I guess I am starting to get a better hold on things.

How has everyone else been? What are your plans for the holidays? Anyone doing any travelling?

Hi all! Feelin' better. No real headache today. Cold finally hit here too! Wow. Really annoyed with a new doctor and the stupid crap that I didn't have to put up with from the 4 before. Anyway - sorry haven't been here much and not commenting like I should. I do read a lot of the posts tho. I wish all who don't feel well or are down feel better and that everyone has a nice day.

Man I feel left out. Everyone has christmas weather and here it's 80 and I have the ac on. Lol It may not look like christmas here but it smells like it. Went to walmart to pick up some stuff for Pierogi lasagna tonight and it's packed. Everyone is last minute shopping and I still have some stuff to do as well. I have to clean the house today and I just want to skip it. I got a new cat last week. He was a stray who followed me home on a walk. At first I thought he was a girl and let my brother name her, he picked Fifi. So when we found out he was a boy my brother insisted on keeping the name but adding Mister to it. So he is Mister Fifi. I though Tux would be better because he is black with some white on him but no lol. I believe he is about 6months and I just decided to keep him because he is just the cutest/funniest thing ever who deserves a home. My cat Charlie loves him so I'm glad everything turned out pretty well. I hate seeing stray animals. It's depressing.

I hope you all had a nice weekend! It went by to fast for me but No work so I get to enjoy today.

- It was super cold here yesterday (in the 30s) but today it's in the 70s. The weather here is SOO weird. I don't understand it.

Though really I wouldn't wish ice on anyone. It's just no fun at all. Grats on the new cat. I love the name Mister Fifi. lol If nothing else it will always be a good story when you explain how he got his name.

That's some nasty wind. Hope it doesn't last too long. By the way, you don't need to ping the ks group. It's basically dead, because without PoeticEnigma playing we don't actually have any control over it (she and Inny were the only ones in control of that), so ksrs is our only group for now.

Glad you're feeling better. Sorry about the new doctor. Seems all doctor stuff is getting more complicated, most of it needlessly.

Good whatever time of day it is to you all. Hope things are okay. My headache is no better, sadly, the one I took antibiotics for. Have a couple more days to see if they work well. Almost done with Christmas shopping. Just some things for dmy's step son, the older one. So hard to shop for and I am not going to spend a ton on him.
