Hope you don't have to work over the holidays! Don't really have much planned myself except for volunteering at the food pantry this week. Been doing it a long time so I know most of the families, and we'll probably have candy for the kids too.

I have a new doctor too, it's frustrating when you get one that doesn't listen.

Haha, same here, it's a sunny 81f right now. I've always wanted a tuxedo cat, but it seems like I'm a magnet for orange cats (currently have 2).

How old is the stepson? Maybe you can get something like headphones/ear buds or a travel phone charger. I saw one that is a keychain with mini usb cable, thought that was really neat.

I used to have an orange cat. Named him Goldmember. Lol Oh nice! Whenever I mention it no one knows what it is. Lol I haven't made it in a year I think so I was happy to stuff my face with it. Lmao Ice is dangerous, I wouldn't wish it on others either. But snowtubing is fun lol. And yes it would be a nice story explaining his name. xD

It finally rained today. I have been waiting months for it and even though it was short it was nice and much needed.

hope everyone is well. dealing with some work bullies. makes me very frustrated. a few are leaving soon though, which will be good. still struggling with my pet's story ideas.. i have some art, but my talent for writing seems to be totally gone :(

hope things get better with the dr. :/ ..lol yeah i thought it was pretty cute too ;) (the grinch) and don't forget your questies ..woo hoo i see a new pet coming soon ;)

I have survived the cold so far. had a heat wave this morning when I got up. it was a whole 8 degrees but at least the wind has calmed down.

I go to the cardio doc in the morning so probably won't post, but I will sneak in to do a couple of quests for the quest a thon lol.

everyone stay safe and warm, except for the cultie who posted it was 80 degrees. and btw, shame on you for teasing us like that LOL

No work for me. I'm a teacher so I get to have the holidays off. We go right up to Christmas though which is a bit bad. I'm flying back home on the 24th so fingers crossed for no holdups or delays keeping me from getting back on time!

The food pantry sounds really nice especially when you get to know the families. I really like having that kind of connection to people. It's just the more personal touch I guess. It sounds like it's going to be a nice time.

Morning/Afternoon Everyone :D I've got a bit of a cold, which is super annoying, but at least I don't have anywhere to go. I've been keeping up with quests for a week or so now, but with the quest-a-thon making everything a weekend quest, I can't NOT do them now. So much moolah to help pay for Lumi gifts. :D I'll be around pretty much all day. I'm alternating between Subeta and watching Criminal Minds. I've got food in the oven now, so I'll watch TV while I eat and then hop back on after. I hope everyone is having a good Monday!

Hi everyone. My pipes in my bathroom froze yesterday morning (all the others were fine) - I thought they were insulated but they weren't and I was stupid for not checking. Anyway, my son came over and didn't find any obvious ruptures. He insulated and wrapped them and directed the dryer hose at them under the house. I threw in a damp towel and ran the dryer and went to my mother's and took a shower. When I got home, everything was working. Yay! It will be tomorrow before it warms enough to know if the pipes actually ruptured or not. Crossing fingers and hoping they are ok. Read several things that said if you thaw the pipes soon enough and if it is only one area that they may not burst. OMG I hope they don't...

Finally got good news that I'm back on my waiver program as of Jan 1. So happy! Been fighting so long and things changed and now I'm with Amerigroup. Such a relief. Helps with so many things. Best Christmas present I could hope for.

Everyone having a good day? It's been busy at work for me today. But I have a lovely weekend. I was able to get all my shopping done, and wrapping! And I binge watched Fuller House Season 2 :D I loved it!

Hi all! My mom's gift came in the mail today which was a huge relief. Not happy that it came poorly packaged in a styrofoam box with nothing to pad it, but luckily it wasn't damaged. Glad to have my gifting done, and everything wrapped up. Can't wait to see her face!

Yeah, today's the last day for forum boxes. I opened all of mine, but didn't see anything different from the kind of items it gave from the start.

For once I actually have a good amount of quest points stored up, looking forward to seeing the winter items.

Hope everyone is doing their quests for the questathon. I'm trying to make time to get them all in.

My time off shopping by myself for my mom was a bust this afternoon (I left her alone at the bookstore and she had a much more successful - spent money - time than I did lol). Am going to wander again on my own tomorrow before coming back to get her and do our food shopping. Whatever happens tomorrow is it because there is cooking and cleaning and wrapping that will need doing. Envious of y'all that are done.

I made my own forum group and I put my sP in there so I can do sarah quests. Can't have more than 500k sP to do them and it includes anything in shop till.

I'm getting ready to head out again for the day. On my own first and then will pick up mom to finish up her shopping and food. I'm hoping to be able to stay home tomorrow to wrap and clean. Would be nice to be able to enjoy and relax the rest of the week other than some food prep and eventually cooking dinner.
