Hello fellow Ravenclaws!

We are trying to find ways to create a stronger bond within our awesome house, and thought one way to do that would be to have a place where we can chat with each other outside of roleplaying. So, this is just a place to chat about Subeta or whatever else you'd like to chat about!

Hi there! My plans are to stick around town and visit my family, and my boyfriend's family. Christmas day will probably be very busy. I am excited to have a little time off work! What about you?

I have the luxury to be around a lot now and be so quick haha! I'm on temporary medical leave from work and university until my eyes heal after eye surgery, so all I have to amuse me is Subeta and lots and lots of books!

My plans are similar. My immediate family all live here so we'll all be getting together for the holidays. I went tree shopping with mom yesterday and I'm excited to help her decorate the tree on Sunday - it's going to be awesome!!

YO. I'm a student so I'll be heading home once Finals are over. ...which means...no internet... sobs

I can't wait to get our tree. We'll probably get it next week or something. I love having a tree decorating the house. So purty!!

Oh my goodness yesssss. I am going to try and do some baking this weekend. I looove cookies. My favorite are Reese's Peanut Butter cookies. Peanut Butter chips, chocolate cooking. Ungh sooo delish.

Those two smells together are amazing about December. I love all my ornaments so I get excited every year to take them out. I also have a massive collection of nutcrackers that I get excited about every year too.

I can't wait to see what the next items are! I love Melody! :D

Nutcrackers are awesome. I want to buy some plain/craft ones so I can make HP nutcrackers. A Dumbledore one would be great.

I hope your recover goes well! Did your family buy a real tree this year? I'm hoping to put mine up soon to give my cat something to play on.

OMG I need to try that. My girlfriend loves Reese's, I bet she'd love the cookies, too. Do you have a recipe, or is it just basic chocolate cookie dough with the chips?

I love taking out ornaments, too. I have dozens of ornaments that I hand painted when I was younger that I always hang on a small tree in my bedroom, while we put regular baubles on the big tree in the living room.

I also can't wait to go Christmas shopping, despite how horribly busy I know the malls will be.

We did get a real tree. We had a fake tree for a year or two but it's just not the same. And like your cat, my two cats LOVE the tree, too, so they have that to look forward to haha.

By the way, do you happen to play WoW? Your username just makes me think of the Elune in the game!

I KNOW! My friend came for a visit and I was struggling. All I wanted was to be alone at home lol

I know that feeling, for sure lol. I love having friends over, but there comes a time where it's just like please, please, let me be alone again. The only person I'm content to spend lots and lots of time around is my girlfriend because we're very like-minded and have lots to talk about haha. Most people I know, though, we have enough to talk about for an hour or two over coffee once in a while, and then it just gets awkward.

I am really good at keeping to myself. I don't mind being with people that are the same way but I am not a shopping and going out all the time kind of person. That is what happened. Also when I stay at people's places I adapt to the people there but my friend was just ... yeah.

How have you been, hun? Is the Hoot Club going well?

Does the computer hurt your eyes at all? That is awesome that you have a real tree. Mine have always been plastic. I'll bet they do smell and look beautiful. I definitely have to keep the decorations cat-friendly now, which means no glass ornaments and no tinsel because she will eat loads of tinsel. xD I played WOW for a few years. I miss it! But my computer doesn't run it well. I used to spend wayy too much time on there, so it's probably for the better. Do you still play?
