Lately I've been writing Fire Emblem fanfiction, but I also like writing Harry Potter and Pokemon. Writing Sonic fanfiction is an incredibly guilty pleasure, but I don't write nearly as much of it as I used to.

My Harry Potter fanfic that I'm kind of working on right now is a short story about a Squib OC who was abandoned by her Pureblood parents and raised as a Muggle. She accidentally encounters a magical phenom of some sort and meets a young wizard who realizes what she is and teaches her all about the wizarding world.

I just came home from swimming, and I'm exhausted. I will get back to everyone tomorrow.

Thank you! I am sitting at work. I hate being here cause my other half is sick and I have to drive an hour both ways to pick up the baby today. Not how I wanted to spend my evening xD But I suppose it is better than sitting at home with a sick adult that is kinda a baby when he is sick xD

Not tough, just hectic. Lots going on this close to the end of term! I'm so excited though - I was doing independent research all semester and I get to present my findings next week!

And yeah, I will probably upload it within the next month. It's not a very long story, but I've been working at a really slow pace because I'm writing a few things at once (even though I know that's a bad idea, haha).

To add onto the discussion on woefully pathetic sick babies, my goofy ex would basically be crippled if he ever got so much as a runny nose, meanwhile I'm working for 8 hours straight with a migraine and a sore throat while being on my period. Some people are big dumb babies, haha.

Oh god yes...heaven forbid we are all sick because guess who doesn't get to be sick due to the fact that she still has to do everything xD

I felt like that yesterday at work lol. I love my job, but yesterday I just wanted to not be there at all.

I go through periods of not liking my job. It is mostly the stress of clients who don't have common sense. xD

I feel the same way with patients who come in having self diagnosed based on a google search. I had a lady come in once with a nosebleed, CONVINCED she had Ebola. This was like... 3 years before the Ebola outbreak and she'd never been to Africa or exposed to anyone who had been, but google said she had Ebola, so she must have had it... I was just like >.>

Omg it is similar here. I work at a law office and we get those people who wiki things and think they know everything!

I don't get why it's called common sense. Clearly it's not all that common lol.

I got to study abroad for free so I really can't say I regret it but maybe another would have been better xD You can always go to grad school and use it for something else!

Indeed xD we do mostly bankruptcy law and it is amazing what people don't get.

I didn't even know there was a branch of law dedicated to bankruptcy. Huh. I learned something new! <3

Oh yes. It is hard to do a bankruptcy by yourself (I mean you CAN but there are so many forms) unless you happen to be a BK lawyer and in that case most lawyers don't get into situations where they need to file BK xD

That certainly makes sense! I only wish it worked that way in my field, where those with medical training didn't get sick. xD Like the old saying goes, we make the worst patients!
