That is so funny. I try to be mindful of what I get people for baby-showers and kids' birthdays: either clothes, books, diapers, etc. It's hard to omit stuffed animals and toys. There are so many adorable toys on the market. It must be difficult to keep them organized.
That sounds like a neat program! I tried using a free app once to stream my computer games on a phone, but it didn't work so well. xD
🌸Seeking:I guess, I'm not so into console gaming, but this'll get him off my laptop at least.

That is a good thing. ;)
Would you like to pick a prize from the daily section here? You won the raffle two nights ago.
🌸Seeking:Oh cool. :) I'd like the magical study notes if they are available.

the bad thing is that it only holds about half of what she has xD

I sure do. I have a final research presentation this coming Wednesday evening that I'm already losing sleep over (I'm a very good public speaker, but I have severe stage fright so getting up there is a battle in itself), and then my final paper is due the week after on Thursday. Once that's in, my faculty mentors will look over my data set and my analysis, and if it looks really good I may even have a shot at publication!

Lazuli- Awesome! If you haven't received that yet, we'll send it over.
Destiny- Hah, that's great. Maybe you can snag a second one sometime.
Ah, that sounds nerve wracking but exciting. I'm sure you'll do great. Definitely take some time to relax a bit before then. :)
Sorry I didn't do the prizes last night. I uninstalled antivirus to install a new one, but my computer won't accept the new software. So I'm being paranoid now and using my phone instead.
Anyways, thank you so much, guys, for sticking around and chatting this week. This board is open all term whenever you want to talk. c:

🌸Seeking:Congrats to everyone! Can't say I am not jealous of Olivia xD But I do like that book so I am excited! Thank you ladies for having the raffle
Elune, I would get another if it would fit anywhere xD We have weird corners in her room and the others have windows or other obstructions in the way. Hopefully she doesn't get too many more. Maybe I can rearrange and squeeze more in. Sorry you are having trouble with your antivirus. I need to find a good free one for home that doesn't make me remove my malwarebytes...the last antivirus said I had to remove that and I like that as a backup.
Garnet, I am so glad I am out of school. Sometimes I miss it but then I think about papers. I was always a procrastinator because I got better grades under pressure. But that was of course more stressful. Good luck with all the work!

Congratulations to all of our winners! And a thank you to everyone who stopped by the chat with us! We look forward to hearing more from you guys throughout the term!
I actually weirdly love writing papers haha. I'm a major procrastinator, too, because I also do work better under pressure.I feel like that little bit of stress is worth it for me haha. I still can't wait to be all done, though! At the same time, I'm already thinking of going to do my Masters, so even more school to look forward to haha!
Oh I loved the idea of papers. Just maybe not writing them xD I once had to write a 20 page paper on a classical subject. I picked a subject that has little to no research on it...I just happened to really like it. But I sure bsed my way through 20 pages and got an A. xD It was just stressful.

Brutal! I had a similar thing happen once, when I had to write a paper on sedimentary basin types for a geology class, but thankfully that one only had to be a few pages long. My record so far is 54 pages (including references and appendices, so about 44 pages without those), but it was on research we'd actually conducted ourselves and there was LOTS of background literature, so while it took me forever to write, it wasn't bad at all.
Legit worst part of paper writing = literature review. God, if I ever have to read another scientific paper it'll be too soon lol.
I don't actually get to do much hands on research since my major was more history based. The 20 pg I did was on pre-Greek and mythology. The problem is that for the most pat, pre-Greek has not been translated. This means there are no stories to go by and so you have to rely on pictures and objects that were excavated. Hey...is this spoon just a spoon or was it used in a religious ceremony since it is so fancy? Or maybe this was not used in either because we found it in the bathroom. The 20 pager was my limit...that is without refs and the like. But whooo...20 pgs of pure BS because it is just me saying, well it COULD BE THIS.
Literature review is more fun when it is not scientific xD

Hey everybody! :) I am back from my vacation to Italy (such great scenery and food)! Hope you all had a great week! Did anybody celebrate easter? Any special traditions?
Hope I didn't miss anything major - there're so many pings to go through, but I'm doing my best to get up to speed! Looking forward to being more active! :D
I shudder to think of what a bathroom spoon may have been used for. xD
And amen to that! I don't mind lit review for other classes, but my biology classes are just impossible because of how many papers I wind up reading. Still, I wouldn't change it for the world haha.
There's a naughty/gross joke about that, actually...
The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation. My CW shop, and my ping group
Bathroom spoons are for medicine silly ;)

Ah, see, now there are conflicting opinions on the bathroom spoon lol. I feel like more scientific rigor is required to determine the spoon's true usage. xD
We may all be wrong...click. That is kinda spoonlike.
