Fffffffffffffffffffffffffff, it looks so awesome. I especially love the face/head. The big nose and little ears and all. It's like a big head-chunk like some dogs have, like the kind you just want to hug so you can feel its solidness.
Please, do not update the Tigrean! They do NOT need it. I like the old Tigrean much better, for multiple reasons: for one, I love the charm of the more cartoon-like pets. I still really dislike the new Fester, the Irion, and even the basic Lain and Jollin colors (no offense to the artists or to the fans of those pets). To me, seeing the cartoonish, whimsical designs of the older Subeta pets is one of the many reasons why I love much of the artwork on this site, and this site itself. The older Tigrean (and Fester, for that matter) have much more character. lol I even loved the old Fester's green mohawk, because it was just something you don't see everyday, especially on real hawks, eagles, or vultures. If I wanted to see real-looking animals, I'd look through animals and nature books and channels. This Tigrean update just looks too "real" looking, and just isn't as interesting as the old one. With the new one, its eyes are too small, its fur is too detailed, and just looks like a tiger painted red, in my opinion (once again, no offence to the artist or fans of the update). Unfortunately, it looks the updated version is going to win, like any update in the polls. :( I just wish there was a way for users to keep their old, un-updated pets if they wanted to. ^^
I love how non-generic the now one looks - now it's more like a real tiger. One of Subeta's weaknesses is that many of its pets look a little too much like each other (several types of dogs, several types of cats, etc). But I feel like this change will be upsetting if it goes through (because the Tigrean's personality has changed so drastically - the original had a sharp look in its eye, while the new one is...cuddlier)

The paws bother me a lot, I'd like to see them less cartoonish with some claws.
If the new Tigrean's nose looked exactly the way SleepyHead's does I may have second thoughs on the new kitty! But there's still the fact of the back paws being without paws, just toes, and the ears...the ears need to stand up on the head more and not be so scrunched and the back paws should look more like actual paws. Change those three things along with maybe making the chest a bit smaller and I think Bean's got a winning pet! :D
I love this new design, but I think the nose might be a bit too large. Sleepyhead's updated nose looks a bit more realistic and it fits better with the rest of the design.

I LOVE the new design, but I would make just two changes. The nose seems way too big to me, and I don't like the odd fur hanging on the chest. It makes it look anorexic, or like it's ribcage is showing.
Other than that, just wow. The new stripes are cooler, and the eyes and ears look much more realistic. I'm noticing a trend towards that here (i.e. the Jolin), and I love it!
I really don't like the new one. It doesn't look natural or alive. The striping looks flat. It basically looks like a more detailed version of the old one, without the lively eyes. I'm not opposed to a Tigrean revamp, but I really don't like these pets.

For a moment, this almost felt like I was having a weird dream. You know how in a dream you often get something absolutely weird and incongruous thrown in with the mundane? Yeah, that's what this was like for me. That is probably one of the most beautiful Subetan felines I have ever seen, but it really looks nothing like the original and has none of the same attitude. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that I might like it as an entirely different pet. That is just not a Tigrean!
My critiques and feedback:
Overall, I always saw the Tigrean as a bit of an opposite to the Archan: I see the Tigrean as being a lot more sleek, quick, and crafty, instead of just being another huge and muscular bulldog-cat. That said, though, I might accept and love this revamp if the rib cage were up a little and the legs were a teeny bit thinner, since I suspect really wants to go through with this from the fact that the El Tigrean mask looks so much more like this one, and I respect the desire to rework something when one's concept of it evolves.
My honest opinion? I'm voting old. :| The revamp is an excellent quality, but its hardly a step up. This has got to be one of the few pets that DO NOT NEED a revamp. And also, I don't think the revamp looks like a Tigrean.... at all.... its too similar to an actual Tiger. The eyes need to be bigger, the nose narrower and smoother, the body needs to be smoother too and the ears need to be more perked up. (Basically, it needs to look more like the OLD one....) I could probably live with it a lot more if the new one resembled the old one better. But this is just... too much. D: I'm with the Nervous Tigrean Owners, even though I do not own one myself. I hope the special colored ones don't get changed too much if this revamp goes through. :c
The art on the new one is wonderful, but it's missing its RAWR I'M CUTE BUT I GONNA POUNCE ON YOU look. Also, the belly fur is a bit too long for my taste. Maybe shorten it a little? I do like the more stripes too.
Overall, I freaking love this new tigrean look! I would get a big fuzzy tank-like tigrean if they get to look this fuzzy and muscular :D
And for people complaining about it looking too masculine, do you not know what Tigress looks like in Kung Fu Panda? She's definitely not slender and sleek, but it's all good.
Oh, I figured out what I thought was weird about the belly fur. It's because it's very shaggy, but only where his ribcage is. It makes it look like it has a really deep chest and then a skinny abdomen, and then since the shag ends pretty much in a straight line instead of thinning out it gives it a boxy, unnatural look. Sort of like his ribcage is an upside-down triangular prism.
I did a quick edit of the little things that were bugging me personally. As I said I don't much like the nose of the original, there is literally no space between it and the mouth, its connected. And the feet look a little plan, so I just added quick claw-slits. Though I am not sure if tigreans have claws like a tiger...
But other than that, I'm really liking the few stripes that sort of drip into the underfur. I'm also enjoying the general strong and thick quality of his legs, chest, and head.
I reaaaally don't like it. I'm kinda reminded of a pokemon, like old was the first evolution and this new one is the second. They changed too much. It is more realistic this way but I'd prefer it if it wasn't quite SO realistic.
My own major issue with the new one is that its nose is too dark of a colour- I honestly feel it should be lighter. Dialga's editations I feel covered a fair few of the problems that I noted after that (such as the thickness of the muzzle), a more tigrean feel- the update seems to up the realism and muscly sides but drops some of the sleek and grace.
I REALLY like this revamp. I disagree with people that the legs are out of proportion. It looks fine to me. The only things that I'd like to pick on are the ears and belly fur. It'd be nice if the ears were forward just a little bit more (although I like them now, but imo it makes the tigrean look a little more on the offense than you'd think a pet would be). Also, something seems really off about the fur on its belly... I think it's partially because the stripes continue onto the white, which makes sense but it really threw me off at first because I thought they were its ribs showing or something. Maybe make it a little less shaggy all around and focus more on putting shaggy fur on its armpits and elbows. Overall, though, I really love this revamp. Definitely voting new. <3

It's like they aged it or something? I really really dislike it. The old one was more young lion king like and that's why the Tigrean was one of my favorite species.. This one has a bulky face, and looks like they tried too hard to make it both cartoon-y and realistic. It just looks awkward now. But I guess that's what overlays are for tho /shrug.
I think the art quality is beautiful. Just the face... doesn't look good to me :/

Oh, man. I'm REALLY nervous about what's going to happen to my Glacier and Reborn Tigreans now.
I like the fact it gets rid of the fluffy chest fur and I don't mind the Tigrean looking a LITTLE more fierce and less coy, but this? May as well just call it a Tiger instead of a Tigrean. Changes the attitude too much and looks TOO bulky and fierce now.
Also, the ears-back pose makes it look angry.
I wish it was a little sleeker, I feel like it's too bulky. I also don't like the belly hair, or the fact its back looks very short. Other than that, despite the fact the Tigrean is my absolute favorite pet, I understand why it needs to be updated.
This is actually the first time in an incredibly long time that I've had to stop and think about a pet revamp vote. I think the old tigrean needs a revamp, but the new one has several things about it that are off or could use improvement.

What happened to the hair tuft on the head? I thought that was always the cutest part of the tigrean.
Also, the front toes seem to just... appear out of the ends of the leg, I think there need to be a bit more defined paw.
I think the ears would look better if they were a bit bigger... also the snout slightly narrower (although i do like it wider than it was, it just feels too wide).
Also the front paw maybe moved over to the right a bit? It looks kinda awkward like that.
Last one: Maybe the chest could be a little fluffier?
Overall I do like, it especially since it looks more like a big cat now. I just think its TOO big and rough as compared to how it was. Sorry for all the suggestions, I don't normally post things like this but Tigreans are in my top 3 pets so I really care about their revamps :)
One looks like the parent and one the mischievous kid ^^ I like em both but as far as the new one I'd like if the claw thing on the back of the back legs was a bit more hooked

The Kumos is fine the way it is. It's my all-time fave pet on this site.
I love the Kumos, but its art quality isn't very good compared to the newer pets. I mean, look at this.

ADORE the newer one, it looks so powerful and fierce and yet still playful and mischievous. I also really love the mature face made possible by the smaller eyes!

THAT'S what's bothering me about the paws!!! There ARE no back paws! Just toes attached to the Tigrean's heels! I think that the new Tigrean's paws need to actually be drawn in!

See how the tiger actually has back paws and the new Tigrean doesn't? It looks just funny, like the Tigrean doesn't have back paws at all. That's something that should be taken into serious consideration in this revamp!
One last thing: I actually really like the wider muzzle/nose (it's a feline, it's supposed to be wider) and I see no issues with the legs. I think if you narrowed the legs as you approached the paws, it would throw off the perspective. The paws are closer to us than the rest of the leg, so having it widen toward the paws makes sense.
I was actually quite fond of the old look. Don't ask me why, I just thought it looked really neat. Despite the outdated art :P

It's certainly very different, I'm undecided so far exactly which version I prefer. One of my own pets is a Tigrean and I'm not sure how well this new version suits her. It seems to have lost some of it's spunk. I do like the fact it resembles a real tiger, but I think the cartoon element may have been sacrificed a little too much? Speiro got it spot on with the slightly-tweaked version - I reallyreallyeally like that, I think it retains much more of the original 'spark' just by making the eyes a little larger. If I could vote for that one I 100% would!
I think it has bucketloads of potential but it definitely needs some refinement before it goes live.
Okay... I like how everybody thinks they can draw better than the Subeta artists. If they wanted you to design their pets they'd hire you instead. lol. The revamp looks fine, no need to nitpick it to death.

I like it... but somehow the eyes look too small... or the nose and mouth is too big... perhaps do something about that? I like this style of art which is similar to the serpenth... I really am not fond anymore of the cartoon-like art(that's like Neopets - I've outgrown that lol). Hope you guys revamp the bloodred harvester, please (make it more bloody!)
