I just have to say I agree with the little changes Sleepyhead made, otherwise.. I LOVE ALL THE DETAIL YOU PUT INTO THIS! It is absolutely fabulous. Realistic, and a continued change of pace from the old anime like subeta. The only thing that bothers me is the nose. Too big XD but Honestly it is fabulous.. and I salute you artist! I hope that what ever advice you take, it continues to stay wonderful. (And awesome to keeping the wing like markings <3)
I'd vote, but I'm not really sure which one to go for... The art is significantly better, but it's the anatomy that's catching me up. The new version is very thick and stocky, in all honesty I think it looks characterless, shapeless, and blobby. When trying to think of an OC for this art I come up in a dead end. I do not care for the drapey chest fur either, it makes the torso look disproportionate. The eyes are very small, and their expression generic. The fluff on the face is weird as well. The top is rounded and smooth, and then just past the eyes it gets fluffy and drapey like the chest fur. It makes the head look oddly shaped. There should be some scruffiness to the head, and the fluff would look better if it extended from just below or behind the ears. Personally I'm more a fan of cartoony spiky fluff rather than the drapey stuff.
I'm not sure if the intention was to make it realistic to a tiger. It either needs to be anatomically correct for a tiger, or be a unique subeta creation.
First time I don't like a revamp. At all. :(

I changed the legs because they seemed too bulky to me and undefined. I ADDED BACK FEET! Lol, :) I changed the nose to be less broad, I also added more fluff to the chest and face and added the tuft of hair the old one had, i also changed the eyes to make em look more the style of the old ones.
too bulky, tigrean is supposed to be sleek. its way too different from the other poses which would all have to be redone and they're really good. the ears are cute though.

I love the shading and outline on the newer one, but not the more realistic look.. I think the slightly more cartoony look is fun. I also agree, I think it should be a little less bulky... but beautifully coloured, as alwaysss.
I just consider the hair tuft a defining part of Tigreans. Of course it could be done much more tactfully than my 5-min Photoshop job, but the general idea is the same. :P
Phoenixx - I love your version's face compared to the new revamp. I also love the smooth belly. However, I'm not a fan of the hair tuft.
Subeta Artists - Please consider Phoenixx's version. The face on the new version is too fluffy, in my opinion.

I love the new one in general but i have to say that the feet are just throwing me off. i just don't like them very much they seem oddly placed.
While the new one has some very pretty shading, I honestly like the current one WAY more. Tigreans have always been sleek. Anyone who wants a bulky big cat can get an Archan. This is just too different from what Tigreans are and always have been. I've seen so many revamps where people complained that a Subeta pet didn't look enough like the real-world animal it's based on, and staff told them that, as Ankoku put it, "X Subeta pet =/= Y RL pet." Now I feel like they're ignoring what they've said all along. This new revamp does not look like a Tigrean. It looks like a tiger. Personally, I think you should just retouch the current version with better shading, and if you also want to change the stripes to match the new one and/or add the fourth toe, that's fine. If not, at least change the proposed revamp to be more in line with the current Tigrean. The old one has a bit of curl to the tuft of fur on its chest, the tip of the tail, and the fur in its ears that I don't see in the proposed revamp. The ears were rounder, the nose was smaller, and the eyes and toes were bigger. If you changed those aspects and the bulkiness to be more like the current pet, I might still like the current one better, but I'd probably at least be okay with the revamp.

ugh NOOO! This is my favorite species, and while the art is nice... etc. I don't like it. Also, if you use the revamp it's face/ body structure don't quite match the other colors...

I think if the nose was smaller, it would make the Tigrean more versatile in terms of gender. In the current revamp, it looks like the Tigrean can only be a male pet. But, with 's edits, I think it could also work as a female pet.
Love the body, hate the head. The nose is too long and broad and why must it have a huge smile line? (I know it's supposed to be threatening, but can't that just be conveyed through the eyes?).......Really love the body though!
The face, to me, is too boxy and masculine. I mean, can you really picture this as a female? I certainly can't.
However the improvements everywhere else are astounding.

The new one looks great, but I like the eyes, ears, and chest fur of the old one better. The new one is scary and not cutesy. If those features got moved over I'd be happy, or at least move over the eyes and ears.
I love the new art, I really do. However, it doesn't quite feel like a Tigrean to me. It just seems a bit bulkier as opposed to that sleeker feel I always associated with Tigreans. The new art is gorgeous and I do love it just not for what I've always known a Tigrean to be.
While I love the new revamp, I have to admit that its feet look silly to me. This may be because while the majority of it is so realistic, the lack of defined ankles and the comical paws take away from that effect. The ankles could potentially be forgiven, but the paws really should be fixed. If you're looking to make this look realistic, please carry it out all the way. In my opinion, the revamped tigrean looks like its wearing paw slippers at the moment. :X

Thinner legs, bigger eyes, longer snout, smaller nose. Maybe bring the chest up a bit. And I'll love this. I still do and I voted yes for the revamp. But it does need some serious anatomical corrections if you're trying to make this realistic. I also would like the hair to be curlier and have that tuft on the head like the current Tigrean.
I didn't think the tigrean would need another revamp. Though looking at the new revamp, it anatomically looks so much better in comparison. (and doesn't look so much like a cat than a tiger!) But, there's a few points to make it look a lot better. The chest fur should be shortened or just add a little scruff there. The nose is great but I agree it should be a little smaller and not too much detail as it may look as if it had shrunk or punched in the face (would the snout need to be a little narrower?). I feel that the head needs a little bit of scruff but not too much to look as if it's hair like the old one. A small subtle line in the middle will do just fine! The eyes don't bother me too much (as tiger eyes are small) but maybe a tad bigger will look just fine. The neck is a little too thick so I'd think it'll need to be a bit thinner. Like what many say, the ears do look a little squashed and it does need to be more outwards than in (if that makes sense!). The pose is great and should be kept, the front leg does look a little stretched (maybe a shoulder line above it?) I'm not too fused about the Tigrean being too masculine but maybe a little less chunky will be good. I love how it now has a fourth toe as it does look more like a real big cat and looks less awkward though I do feel it need the lines for where the claws come out.
Overall, it quite a big reach from its previous revamp but I like the new revamp (looks a lot different to the other feline pets here). One thing that queried me was that some of the nice colours and poses of the Tigrean like the Glacier, Reborn and Dark Matter might have a big change from this but hopefully it'll be just as good (or even better!). Great work! Keep it up! ;)
It's well done art work, but I don't like the new design very much at all. It looks a lot more bulky, I think a tigrean should be much more lithe. Also the face is very realistic and detail, but the legs and paws are still very simple looking, I think claws or little claw-hole lines should be added.
Posting again to say that I really like Dialga's edit. The thinner face, bigger eyes, and reduced chest really make it look younger and more like how I see a tigrean.
Also, I like the thick legs and paws. While I'm glad that Subeta pets are becoming more realistic and less cartoony/anime-styled, I personally don't want them to become completely realistic, barely-edited copes of real-life creatures. The blocky legs are just right I think - they give the design a bit of mild cartooniness without looking too exaggerated, or like they wouldn't function.

This is actually the first revamp that had me vote for the old picture in the poll, mainly because the older Tigrean already has pretty good shading and doesn't seem to need a revamp as badly as some other pets.
I can see where you're going with making the new one more realistic, but it just seems to lack character and dynamics for me - for one thing, I really like how the old Tigrean is haughtily throwing his head back, and that the tail is held at his side, which is more normal for cats than having it between the legs. The new Tigrean also looks way more heavy.
I kind of like how it has more and finer stripes, but at the same time, I kind of miss the tribal feel of it's old stripes - I can see you kept the most prominent, winglike stripes on his back, but the awesome shapes on his shoulder and knee are completely gone, which is pretty sad.
A point that was apparently mentioned a lot already is the paws - while the rest of the Tigrean is made to look very realistic, the paws are just as comic-y as the old ones, just made smaller. The addition of amall lines for the claws I've seen on an edit somewhere in the comments already seems to make a huge difference here, though.
Another point I really liked about the old Tigrean is the curly chest fur. It made his chest puff out a little and added to the haughtiness, while on the new one, it kind of slipped down to his stomage, just adding to the weight.

After reading almost all the comment through, here's where my feelings are with the new version and what others have done to make it even better than what the new version currently looks like:
Paws: Back paws would look better if they were elongated a bit to show more paw and not just all toe. Here's a VERY good example of a tiger standing to give you an idea: Tiger Standing.
Chest: Chest hangs down too far. In the same image as I posted for the paws, you can see that the tiger's chest doesn't hang down so close to the ground. Also, there's no fur hanging from the chest - the chest is smooth.
Legs: They're rather short. See same image I posted for the paws. It'd be nice if they were elongated some so he doesn't look so stocky.
Neck: It's also a little short as well as a little TOO wide. See image I posted for the paws. It'd be nice if the neck was a little longer and not so short.
Face: Jawline is too short and scrunched to the face. In this image here, you can see that the jawline is a lot more defined/pronounced.
Eyes are too small. See image I posted for the jawline. The eyes are bigger, brighter and softer.
Ears are folded back too much as others have said giving it an angry kitty look. In the same image I posted for the jawline, the ears are straight up and not folded at all, except for that little dip.
Nose is too big and the upper lips are too bulbous. See how much more narrow the nose and lips are in the face image I posted for the jawline? It'd be nice if the new Tigrean showed that. 's nose is a nice idea of what could be possibly done to the new Tigrean's nose. Making the upper lips less pronounced and flatter against the teeth would look a lot better, too.
Extras that I'd love to see added to the Tigrean that it doesn't have now:
Whiskers. I felt very odd not seeing whiskers on the Tigrean. All big cats (and even domestic, for that reason) have beautiful whiskers. They're known for their stunning whiskers. It'd be awesome if you added whiskers to the tigrean upper lips and under his chin.
Open mouth. It'd be neat to see the Tigrean's mouth open to reveal its powerful teeth a little just like in this image here.
I'm sorry I can't do any hand-drawn examples. I'm not an artist. I hope with my images that I posted will give a better idea as to how the Tigrean would be even more benefited in this new re-vamp.

I almost 100% agree with . The back paws NEED definition! They don't look like paws, just plain, old toes.
I LOVE how changed the neck slightly and defined the fur around the face some more in her redline (more like blue line :P) version. It doesn't make the Tigrean look so blobby

Anyway, flaws of the new:
** Yes, I KNOW how hypocritical I sound for this revamp. For years I bitched that the animals of the site were becoming to cute and adorable but the Tigrean was never cute, imo. It was feminine and badass, while also being sleek and beautiful. This revamp kills all of that and what made the species original. We also no longer have a middle ground between the Feli and Archan, with this revamp. (Feli being SUPER CUTE and the Archan being SUPER MANLY, the Tigrean was the middle choice for users who didn't want either or.)
I also like 's nose (and paw) revamp. Even just editing that small feature of its face, made it look more feminine, more like what the Tigrean USED to be. The smile/grin could be lessened a bit also.
And even though it's not long, here are the positive bits:
Also, as a final suggestion; if you do go through with this revamp and not change anything found here in this post and others, then please, PLEASE, make us a feminine Leopard or Mountain lion pet to replace the loss of the old Tigrean.
Though I can see the appeal in the new version and I love everything from the neck down (it's amazing art and that's undeniable), I personally find the face and overall feel to be too realistic; I prefer my virtual pets to be a little more cartoonish and more based in the imagination so I completely agree with Atelier's sentiments. It's based on tigers and that's fine, but I don't want a tiger, I want a tigrean!
It's also too masculine - as the owner of a female reborn tigrean, I can honestly say that I cannot picture her looking like that and I love the art for reborn just the way it is! It's too bulky, the expression is too hard - the older one looked more sly and more mischevious, while not leaning to heavily into either gender. It just lacks the same spirit of the old one.
I appreciate all the hard work that went into this art and while it is beautiful, I can't say I'd welcome the change. I do agree that the common colors need a revamp though, but inspiration should, in my opinion, be taken from the newer looking tigreans like the glacier, hydrus and galactic colors. That would be just great.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the old one. I like the cutesy, more innocent looking version. But the new one is a great new direction for the pet. It's kinda drastic. I won't be heartbroken either way. I realize I'm no help, but you asked, lol. The old one is fine, the new one is burlier and a bit more manly which is more fitting with the tiger/big cat image.
