I LOVE the revamped version! It's looking fabulous! The only remark I can make about it, is that the revamp looks rather masculine, as in the older version it could go either way. I have a female reborn one, so I'm incredibly looking forward to see her revamped, but hopefully she won't look too butch, lol. :)

I like it, but I think that the chest needs to be a little more fluffy again. The edit that has been suggested by would fix a lot of the other small issues I have with it.
nooooooooooonoooooooooo noooooono no I like the old one better :( The wide chunky face and the tiny eyes and ears on the new one bothers me. So does the randomly long fur on its chest, it just looks awkward. Also there's just something about the way the new body is drawn that I can't put my finger on... But I love the old one sigh
Personally I wouldn't change the size of the nose on the new one- large cats tend to have big noses

Wow, the Tigrean isn't a pet that I really would have thought needed a revamp, but after seeing this, I'm glad it's getting one. :D
I love almost all of it, although I think that the difference between the chest and pelvis are way too severe and that the rump should be thicker looking.
I personally love the size of the eyes and ears, but I also like Sleepyhead's edit with the smaller nose and the openings for the claws.
It's a really wonderful revamp, overall. ❤️ The only Tigrean I've ever been a big fan of was the old Reborn one, but this would definitely make me consider getting one again!
This is a gorgeous update. ^_^ The nose and the paws do look a tiny bit off compared to how realistic the rest of the artwork is though.
I don't like the new one..the face is so serious though the body is nice..the old one is cuuute I like it more!! ..and I really hope so much that my reborn and glacier ones won't change ..I like them as they're now ❤️

I adore the new art. It looks more like a tiger without just... looking like a tiger. Does that make sense? I mean it's more realistic without being too much so. Yeah. Oh, and why are a bunch of you guys complaining that it's too bulky and masculine? That's how tigers are, with both sexes. :/
(btw I googled 'female tiger' for reference and came across a genderswapped Tony the Tiger. AUGH MY CHILDHOOD. D8)
I actually have a preference for the older Tigrean! I really feel that the improvement of the new one is just lovely, though, but there's something about the charm of the old one that it's missing. I think the newer Tigrean is a little too heavy to me. It seems very top heavy, I think that's it! I don't think it's so much of a problem as a personal preference though - after all, there are lots of animals (tigers, actually, I can totally acknowledge) which are top heavy haha. Still, I think slimming it down just a little would really help with that. I also agree with other suggestions about making the face less round and a little more angular, and perhaps making the eyes & ears larger, too. I think the problem here is that it's got quite a realistic feel with cartoon proportions, so there's a bit of a disconnect.
I also have a preference for the older pose; there's something very charming and energised by the way that the head is turned with the flick of the tail. It's probably too big of a work to change the new one's pose entirely but I'm just really throwing this out there to explain why I think the newer one is lacking in charm?
Overall though, I think I have a preference for the newer style of art for sure, since it's mindblowing how much it's improved, but just the charm of the older artwork! I think in the long run, with a few tweaks, the proposed revamp will make an excellent Tigrean - much better than the older one for sure!
Nice but something about the new face is bulky. Above the eyes? The thick right ear? Why is it smiling so much? The belly hair is soo ragged. All the realistic features but the toes? The back leg of the current version is more realistic, the newly suggestion version looks very straight. The "nail" on the back leg is moved up & out of position, but without the muscle tone there due to the straightening, it is oddly positioned in the newly suggestion version - and better with a curve at the tip (current version). I like how the tail wraps around the front of the current version with a turned-toward-us cat-like pose .. as opposed to the stretched out & tail tucked under pose of the new suggested version. The current Reborn Tigrean was a totally fabulous revamp and has a beautifully sleek realistic look without being feminine or masculine - to incorporate similar features to a new design I think would be a win. Good luck to the very much loved Tigreans!
Glad to see a masculine feline to balance the very feminine Feli! My only suggestions would be to make the nose a little smaller and the eyes a tiny bit larger, so he doesn't look so squinty. The back feet also need actual paws, and not just toes. Other than those bits, this is a really excellent revamp! Great job!

well sorry keith i havent seen it.i think you should have it though cause some may like the version they had when they made the pet.then the pet is changed,and they dont like it,and sometimes is alot of sp to make a pet a color.
The artists do good on all versions,but sometimes people dont like change lol.
I really like the look of the newer one. Although, it's too large/bulky.
I like the shading/lineart/body of the new one, but I find the head looks too bulky or large. I think the old one has a sort of cunning look while the new one looks brutish and I prefer cunning. But from the neck down I like the new version.
I like the old version better. I not really fond of the belly hair, as it makes it look a little fat. The muscles seem too big and I think it would look better if they were leaner. I also like the old eyes, nose, and mouth. However, I like the new markings as they are more tiger-like. The Tigrean is my favorite pet, but I do have a Reborn, so I don't know how much change there will actually be for the Reborn.
No. It's already recently revamped and the new is ugly. I will change my pet if this goes through. Finish revamping the felis for goodness' sake! And the new one isn't representative of Subeta's art whatsoever.
I am very worried that Subeta is trying to be too realistic with their pets. I feel like it is slowly losing its "subeta-ness". If I wanted to adopt real life looking creatures online, then I'd go to some horse/dog/cat adoptable site. These pets keep bumping into the same problems the fester had. Realism vs. Subetanism. Although anyone who questions the supremacy of the artists can end up the target of their groupies which sucks too. I just hope the artists can find a happy medium. Not everyone will be happy, but hopefully the majority will be. In the end I voted for the newer version because the Tigrean does need an art update, but I hope it really keeps the spirit of the species unlike a lot of shopkeeper and pet updates where the species/person is almost completely changed.
I'm not too fond of this new version; I prefer the old one much more. The new one scares me a little; while that's a good factor for this tiger-like species, it's a bit too much. D; Most of the comments already pointed out it's faults, so I won't be redundant.
I like both designs, but have a suggestion...maybe there could be a middle option? Or a bulky vs slimmer, more "feminine" version? I don't want to call it "feminine," but am not sure how to describe it..

As a tigrean owner, I can say confidently that I like this new version. It reminds me of the old-old tigrean, which I preferred the stockiness of. The only thing I don't really like (which has already been pointed out) is the large nose; shrink that and it looks perfect, in my opinion.
Love love love the new one so much (especially the placement of the ears and the stripes on the belly)! Kudos artist! Now to get my paws on the new beauty (if the revamp goes through of course).

I think in general the new version is just too BULKY in comparison to the older one, it should still look like the same animal, just better art! I think if you made the body a little sleeker/longer, and got rid of the shaggy belly and put back the fluffy chest it would look a lot more like an ART revamp instead of a complete overhaul of the...the whole animal? I dont know if that makes sense.
The face I think is great in general, the art is great! Just not for the tigrean, it should keep the sleeker, almost cheetah face as opposed to the broader tiger face that the revamp has. This goes back to my original comment "its just too bulky". I definitely pictured the tigrean as a sleeker, lithe creature, not a bulky, powerful, muscle-packed animal.
It's pretty badass, but I'd miss the old Tigrean.
Really digging the new one, especially the pattern's on it's head and belly, however i also really like the curly plumes of fluff on the tail and neck of the old one, which make it's fur look really thick and fluffy. really nice art though!
The new one's nicely done, but I prefer the old one. I really don't like the new ones face, or how the belly isn't sleek like the old one.
I don't like the new version ONLY because my Chowdah is a Tigean and he was a housecat and I don't want him to look like a tiger.
I absolutely love the new art! I like that it looks more muscular since that makes much more sense in a big cat. I am looking forward to the darkmatter revamp!
However, I do think that it doesn't have quite the same feel, although much of it is actually the same (such as the pose, colors, etc). I think giving it slightly larger eyes(or eye whites at least), bigger ears or more forward-pointed ears, and a sleeker underbelly would fix that and quell much of the voiced dislike of this revamp. C:
The one thing I do agree with on the side of not liking it, however, is that it doesn't quite feel as "subeta" anymore due to the realistic nature. Part of subeta is that the pets ARE NOT Earth animals, and this revamp definitely sides more towards being a tiger than a Tigrean. But with this art style, I'm not sure how that could be changed. Perhaps making the face more angular than round?
To me it just feels like it's stuck in this weird place in between realistic tiger and Subeta Tigrean where it's trying REALLY hard to look more realistic and mature while still maintaining the charm of the older version. It just feels really awkward to me...like the parts that were revamped to look more realistic really contrast with the parts that were left more toony (ex the fur texture and facial structure, and then SUDDENLY BIG TOONY NOSE + PAWS). I actually do really like the fur texture and markings in the revamp! but overall it looks awkward and I think I'd prefer the charm of the older version for the time being.
Of course I could just be biased because I'm so used to the older Tigrean, but to be fair I wasn't very partial to it in the first place lmao. 9_6 I think I'd like it better if it were revamped, but this one just doesn't feel like it's there yet. Don't get me wrong, the art of the revamp is really lovely! I definitely like the art is a major improvement, but as far as the design goes it really needs more work, and as a petsite pet I think there needs to be more attention paid to the design of the pet itself rather than focusing more on making the art prettier.
I really like the round, simple, cartoony look of the old Tigrean, as well as its "better than thou" expression. What I like about virtual pet sites is the creativity involved in the pets --they aren't just mimics or real life animals. Now the Tigrean looks just like a tiger. While the new art is pretty, I feel it lacks the character of the old version.
In closing, I don't mean to complain! This is just my opinion.

Whoa whoa whoa, Tigrean looks super fierce! I'm in love! <3 Though those paws look a little wonky to me.
I really like where is it going (...how is it that I don't have a Tigrean atm anyway...?) Anyway, for what I see... The reflects on the fur look a little weird, they remind me a lot of that wearable that gives your ha skin slicked with oil. it' s just so werid yellowish and stands out. Also, I have to say I'm a little surprised that the belly looks so fluffy but there is virtually no visible chest ruffle. I miss the hair tuft on the head, but I suppose that indeed cannot be helped, but when we are at the face...is it only me, or does his right eye look a little crooked? Maybe it's not very visible, but perspective and foreshortening aside I feel like it should be just a bit bigger and a tad higher.
