The new version looks like my high school's mascot. :c It looks too real and not enough Subeta. The art is beautiful, of course, but I feel like we were just handed a drawing of a tiger, not a tigrean.
as long as the awesome pattern on the back of the reborn is kept I'll be happy..that was one of my biggest reasons for choosing the RB Tigrean, that and the fact the pose fits for the type of character she is based on.

Love the markings on this new one, as well as the more stocky body form. I prefer the tufts being more floofy on the chest and tailtip of the old one, and I'd like to see the eyes just a smidge bigger, but overall a very nifty new look to the Tigrean.

For the white underbelly fur, I would really prefer it to be short hair instead of long though.
It has an extra toe on each foot ;n; I dunno... I like it - It's absolutely gorgeous - but I don't think it would be a good choice for the revamp. It almost looks like something that someone could use for an overlay, but the actual look of the species. :/ I dunno. I like the original tigrean. Also, the new one kinda looks like a luchador. Remember when we did Skitter's quest and had to battle those guys in the masks? I immediately thought of them when I saw the new tigrean.
I don't know. On one hand, the art is gorgeous. Really, it's beautiful.
On the other hand, however, it doesn't really seem to fit the rest of the site; it's a little too realistic.
I'd like to see this new version with slightly larger eyes, and... I don't know. something about that outstretched foreleg bothers me. Could just be an issue of perspective.
I like the new one, especially how its getting the revamp it deserves, but i would have to go with the older one. I agree with how some people mentioned that the front leg seems oddly positioned, and i kinda would like to see it with bigger ears and eyes. it also seems a little too bulky. but i love the stripes and coloring on the new one :]
The detail of the new one is great, but at the same time I'm still a fan of the sort of 'glorified bad-ass house cat' character of the original design - I don't really like how definitively tigerish the new one looks. I kinda prefer the old one. :x Still, the art is lovely~
Its the face on the new one that bugs me but the rest of it is awesome.
Wat. D: I love that new one, but, I remember when the current Tigrean was the proposed revamp. Gosh, I didn't think the current one was that bad. But this new one, is AMAZING. I'm saddened cause I realize how old a player I am now, but I'm all for the new one! It looks more like a real tiger! That's a perfect leap forward that I'm okay with. x3
Maybe make the ears slightly larger and change the colour scheme just a tad to make it seem even more realistic (after all, no one owns rights to an actual tiger, and I doubt a real one is playing Subeta atm). Thanks for keeping the subtle wing design on the proposed revamp. ;D

I am not that savy with big cats anatomy, and this is in the end, a Tigrean, and not a Tiger, but maybe the legs are a little short, or not defined enough. Or chunky? I don't know what is bothering me XD
It's still not bad, but it transports a very different vibe.

The old one feels more feminine, and the new one more masculine =) The art is really beautiful and awesome. If it's revamped I'll certainly use overlays for my female tigrean for at least the common pose. But iff I had a male character I would be very happy with that revamp and one can always use overlays so I guess the new one is better.
I'd have to say the old version. It has a rogueish look to it. The new one's face looks.....'meh'

I really don't prefer how 'real' the new one looks. I like the cute/cartoonish look of the old one and think the new version is too 'real world'. It's gorgeous art...but I just don't see the need for an update on the old, personally.
No, please no. Once again it would look awesome as a pet overlay, but not for every Tigrean on the site. The Tigrean has always been a very special pet species to me. I only hope there is enough votes for the old design. :(
Overall I like it, but I feel like the new face is too different from the old one. I don't understand this thought that subeta is "moving away" from "cartoony" pets? Because some pets look more realistic and some are still "cartoony" (and "cartoony" =/= bad)
Anyways. I do like the build of it better, it's more accurate to a real tiger's anatomy, I just feel like the head/face is too different. Though it's more realistic, I guess, that's not always an automatically better thing... (Also, I never saw the tigrean as feminine in ANY way, so I don't get where people are coming from on that!)
I prefer the old one. The new one reminds me too much of the Archan. It looks a lot bulkier, less sleek, and no where near as mischievous. It's still good... but it doesn't have the same charm to it.
I love the new one, as a tigrean owner myself. It looks alot more mature to me, more like a tiger. The only thing that looks a bit funky are the legs. I think the back fully visible leg shouldn't be stretched out so much, and the front fully visible leg seems to be the same way. I'd also like to see the back elongated and the head lowered a little bit.
Pft totally just managed to delete my post =_= Try again... I love the new one, but I'm sorry... to me the paws look uneven and squished, like something heavy has been dropped on them... that said I adore the shaggy chest and the more realistic take on the Tigrean, looking forward to seeing the Golden one go live. The stripes in particular are beautiful. I'm not fond of the back end though, the new one is all forward-heavy, huge broad shoulders, deep chest... the hips look diminutive in comparison, whereas as the old one had the higher back and strong haunches I associate with cats. I love it, but I hope the paws at least are sorted out before the final edit, since I feel the need to point out that the new version looks like it has almost human shoulders =X they should flow smoothly into the shoulders, not stick out like that.
I actually really like that this one is so much more realistic and I don't miss the tuft of the hair on the head at all. I don't really like anime art, so I avoided the Tigrean before. But this one... If the Glade Tigrean came quickly, I might need to change one of my pets into one. It's stunning.
Love it, but the face needs a lil work.. the eyes need to be bigger. Not a lot, but they do.

well.... i like that it looks more real, and not so cartoonish... but i don't like that it looks happy. i hope this change only afects common colors. i love reborn tigrean just like it is now.
Wow. Huge change. Great art on the new one. Fierce. Especially loving the more cropped ears. I always picture them male mostly anyway so the fact it's even less gender neutral changes nothing about how I looked the species. Would be nice if it could look a bit more neutral - though I have no idea how. :)
guh, sorry for the empty comment! e___e I just wanted to mention that also, the tufts in the chin bother me! on the old Tigrean, they kind of grow into one direction and make this little "spike" - I like it! the tufts on the new one kind of just... hang there. they don't look nice, imo. it looks like it has a beard, kind of.
In my opinion the quality of the art is much better in the new version, BUT I like the shape/expression of the older one better. I voted for the new one based on the improved artwork though.
It would be great if the upper part of the muzzle could go down a bit more so that it doesn't end with the nose, which is the main part I like better in the old one. Other than that I like both equally I guess (I got so used to the old one, but the new one looks great).
I would say the forehead on the new one looks to be a bit off. Big cats, especially tigers, have large, broad heads, which translates to rather large, broad foreheads. However here the forehead seems to be brought down more into the face than it should, causing the face to be squished down into the bottom of the head, which is particularly obvious with the eyes. This could be passed off as perspective if the ears didn't imply that the head was more or less in an upward position, or at least not pointing down enough to justify that much forehead. Looking at tigers (which I know Subeta pets aren't real and take their own spin, but still) the eyes seem to be rather high in the face. The "cute" proportions which put the face relatively low on the head don't really work when the rest of the pet has a slightly more realistic, strong tone.
Overall though this revamp is absolutely wonderful, especially the shading and addition of all that fluff. Very nice work on the artist's part! c:

I think the new one is definitely better than the old one. The shading, details, markings, etc. are all much more precise, and I love how it actually looks like a tiger now. The old one was very basic, almost anime like. The new version actually looks like the real deal.

The new one is lovely artistically (especially the shading!), but I prefer the old one. I miss the tuft of 'hair' on the new one, and I feel like perhaps the nose is a little too wide and the ears a touch too small?
Wow, I don't know what the hell I typed back there. I was trying to say the ears should be a little less flattened. And after looking at it more, slightly larger eyes would be nice. Anyway, it's great. I always thought the Tigrean shouldn't look so cutesy, so this is a positive change.
no :c can we just reshade the old one and bring it up to spec? the face is way too harsh on it and it just looks like a normal tiger. its a really good piece of art but i feel a lot of the charm of the species is lost? features like the fluffy tail and tuft of hair between the ears.

I LOVE the new one. Only changes I'd make are larger ears, and for the eyes to be more like the original. Maybe slightly thinner too. I really like the more fierce look, but a slimmer body will make it easier for those of us who want female Tigreans.. lol
Guuuuys. Tigers are supposed to be bulky. They're muscular and powerful. Seeing as the Tigrean is based off of a tiger, the bulkiness makes sense. p: Even female tigers are like this. I don't really see how the physique of the new Tigrean would make it more "masculine" or "feminine". xD

The artwork is a huge improvement compared to the old one, but I really miss it's sleek appearance. Archans always were my chunky subeta pets XD
I think the thorax looks real huge, especially with the fur hanging down, and the rest just seems to slim. Not the pelvis region, the part inbetween seems thin while it actually isn't that slim.
Might be a shading matter, not really sure whats bothering me.
I really like the face though.
If it goes through, I'll have to save the old art for the overlay.
I've notice a trend of the last revamps.. Weight reversal. (Darko got skinny, tigeran got fat....) :/
