I've been going between the Harry Potter series, The Outsiders, and, if comic books count, all of Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye. (No surprise on that last one when I'm doing the best I can on Rodimus' human holoform for an HA at the moment of posting this. Probably going to change to humanized Drift or humanized Kaon soon.

I've got flames on my chest. It's a lot to live up to.

I work at my local library shelving, so I see soooo many books I want to read. Excited to start The Everything Store by Brad Stone over vacation.

I just finished one called "I Fired God: My Life Inside, and Escape From, the Secret World of the Independent Fundamental Baptist Church" by Jocelyn Zichterman-- horrifying and enlightening. Would recommend.

I can work as a Library Assistant/tech/officer/whatever you want to throw at the end of Library. It's really hard to find work in libraries in Australia, because it's so competitive and once people get a job, they pretty much never leave. I'm a casual at one of our local libraries, so I volunteer at the school on the side. I love it, and I wish I could work there, but there isn't any funding for the school to take me on and pay me.

I never read The Giver as a child, and now I wish I had...it would have been interesting to see what 10 year old be thought of it compared to adult me.

Actually, at the library where I worked someone finally checked out a book by one of my favourite authors, and I got to be all "This guy is amazing, you should try and find these others books too."

I absolutely love the Fallen series by Lauren Kate. I'm also a huge Stephen King fan. Currently getting into more post-apocalyptic type stories. Unfortunately the NOOK app doesn't work on my tablet anymore so I haven't been reading as much as I used to :(

I think I'm going to reread The Great Gatsby this break! I'm also working on Turtles All the Way Down by John Green and I have a couple Zadie Smith books I want to start.

I love to read! The library is one of my favorite places. As soon as I finish a book I'm looking for another. I've read all the Harry Potter books, I also love the books by Charles de Lint. I just read The Witches of New York by Ami Mckay and really liked it. So many books to read!

. . .a very long time ago, when I was in my early 20's, a friend encouraged me to read a book that I'd never heard of as a child, though it was published when I was 7.

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle

. . . apparently that book was written for a 12 yr old audience, but I LOVED it as a young adult and will read it again and again. The message in the book will never get old (in my opinion).

. . . something else I also enjoy reading over and over is Sister Carrie by Theodore Dreiser because it's so well written and it tells the tale, well, of human struggle.

I don't tend to re-read books (never enough time! so much more to read!) but my favourite book series at the moment is Patrick Rothfuss's The Kingkiller Chronicles ones (Name of the Wind and Wise Man's Fear). He's such an amazing writer and I've never been so invested in a book before. I can't wait for the next one to come out! SO MUCH STUFF IS HAPPENING! flails arms in a panic

I think I've reread "Fear is the key" by Alistair MacLean at least 5 or 6 times. I'm currently reading it with my younger brother
