My favorite memories are the plots! Loved all of them, but I especially loved all the teamwork and interaction from A Bad Omen, it was really cool! (Team Blake!)

World-building with or without the plots and events.

Also, would love the return of interactive/team based events, whether attached to a plot like A Bad Omen or events like Quest-A-Thons.

My subeta memory is when I submitted a trivia prompt and it was actually used! Ahh! It was super exciting to see that staff liked it enough to use it. I still remember the prize, too! I requested a minion, and was the prize (although now it seems to be a plushie? idk lol).

Related to that, I'd LOVE to see Trivia come back. It was tons of fun trying to figure it out every week.

I'd also love to see the trapped galaxian minions get some attention. I had made a topic requesting the frequency of minion drops to increase, and I know Amber was working on it and made a tweak but it seems to have been forgotten before final adjustments. ;^; I'd love for it to be a way to possibly get rare minions since I think you can currently only possibly get super common ones to come out of the bubble?

I've always loved the events and plots here, the creativity that goes into them is amazing. I have many memories of logging into Subeta from library or internet cafe computers whilst on holiday in the pre-smartphone days just to keep up with an event, even queing in the rain for the very limited computer access at a music festival one year! I think my favourite event would have to be the original Pandemic plot, I remember everyone following along and trying to figure out what was happening, I'd never seen anything like it! I kept my original zombie skin for years and Survival is one of the biggest things that keeps me coming back.

As I've said, I've always loved the plots and events and hope one day we can get more, they add so much to the lore and history of the site and I love the way everyone gets involved and plays along. I understand why bigger plots may not be achievable for a while but I miss smaller events like the reading drive and restock wars too.

Hear me out: Experiment + Nostalgic = those little robot dogs from the 2000s, iDog I think? i would simply need that pet immediately 😭 I think the experiements deserve more than mostly just chibi or scribble skins in general. And if possible, at the very least a side menu/directory similar to the legacy site, even if the links lead to their new Kumos pages. Kumos is just very hard to navigate so far and find things i do daily on the site.

PS just saw suggest sweetydead pet colors and i would like to second that because I think that would be AMAZING especially for certain pets.

My favorite time in the game had to be participating in Island War and having a Gold Trophy winning team--but I remember it was brutally competitive! Those were the days when I had the time to spend all my time on Subeta 😂 I could never pull that off again, but it was so fun!

Something I'd Love to See

What I would wish for in the game would be micro-organization for vaults and wardrobe. IE: if I name a wardrobe category as 'Seasonal', I'd like to sub-group things by season (Lumi, Moro...) or even for any category: I'd love to be able to also assign a color attribute (especially when the color is not part of the item name)!
And by sub-group I mean to imply that these would be hidden unless the main category was selected.

Ok well..my favorite memory was coming across a person here named Rainstorm_Witch on a forum topic on Witchcraft and we've been good friends ever since. She gave me a great reason to pursue my own path and gave me something to look forward too each day.

A great many people mentioned having an actual 'house' to put all that otherwise useless furniture in and I do like that idea too. Another is to be able to move foreground and ground items around in the wardrobe or at least have the ability to reverse the direction they face. Basically having more options for customizing things like a potential 'house/s' and/or pets or something. Thank you for all the great work you have done so far and I am glad I found this place.

One of my favorite memorites was participating in the Bad Omens plotline! It was so fun being part of a team, and that was what got me to spend my CSC on my very first CW. Anytime I do a dressup and filter to look at CWs, I remember how much fun it was to be part of a team with both sides having a bunch of fun.

I would love more plotlines or team events! One of my favorite things about Subeta is how laid back it is, but having a reason to check in daily on a site I love (like during a plot/team event or Lumi) helps me to remember why I love the site so much.

It's been so lovely seeing Kumos being updated and (in my opinion) syncing up more to Legacy. I don't use Kumos much, but whenever I do my thoughts are always positive.

I have a few memories that really stand out so bear with me: The one time you asked us to design a beer label for the (then) Alegarten festival. It's one of the few times I've actually placed in something and it actually became a site item. That was pretty cool a little over a decade ago. The Great Neopian Migration was another - I didnt come until roughly Year 2 for yall since I was still doing game guides for that other place, but it was neat seeing (and chatting) with the mIRC folks (long before Discord was a thing) as I started to learn about the community. I think DebiLee was the one who actually encouraged me to migrate all those years ago. The Restock Wars/Plots. I know they were taxing on the site but man, that's when I really saw the Community as a whole usually come together. I was unlucky to miss the Pirates war, but everything after that I enjoyed participating in and chatting about it. The Wacky Custom Items. Before Custom Wearables were even a thing, I remember seeing things like Eau de Stijn and Debilee's Dream Dragon. Those have since been renamed to be more in line with the site, but it was definitely neat to see 'deeper' support lore.

Most of the folks posting before me have pretty much said my request: which is another plot so I won't bother with that one. So how about something that has actually made me wonder for decades: What does the other side of Subeta hold?

• Furthering lore mostly. Following the battle challengers with the Shinwa nightmare plotline was a blast.

I've been playing casually for 20 years, so my memory is really the gestalt experience. For over half my life, it's been a constant. I may have never really gotten into Subeta the way others do, never found friends or a community here, but there are words and names and ways things work that are indelible on my brain because of this thing that so many people came together to do over the years.

For Kumos to be navigable and more closely resemble the Legacy interface: easy to look at, accessible, intuitive. Also, so much of Subeta is deeply anchored in Millennial internet culture, like it or not -- item names, descriptions, character designs -- I would love to see this remain. Barring that, site plots.

This is my first year on Subeta, so I've had tons of good memories so far— lots of firsts and new experiences for me. All of the holidays have been great fun (especially dancing with other players and Mysterious Melody). I really loved making new friends along the way.

I have such fond memories of Survival, my favorite holiday! when I first joined I was so intimidated by the biting and user interactions i didn't participate for years. Then someone gently encouraged me to start. I still laugh when i think about all the user creativity with dressing certain stages of the zombie skins- fevermore bird band or caterkiller poocoons anyone?

Categories to choice from in the Vault like we have in shops. For example, if I'm looking for Food items, I can select it from a drop down list and bring up all of my food items that are in my vault

So very many memories. Survival 2009 when I was very new. Love Bug forever. That event was really special and hooked me for life on Subeta. Making a very good friend. They were upset when their real-life SO pounded the pet names after them. I adopted, and still take care of it eventhough my friend is not longer on here much. Made another good friend who needed lots of help navigating up front. We got big into stickering each other. They have moved on too but we had so much fun for a few years. I also have made a couple of pets names for lost real-life pets that gave me an outlet for my grief. This site is so much of my world. <3

Something I'd love to see is tougher. I'm a very happy Subetan. Ooh, something just sprang up. I expect this won't happen for the many reasons it went away, but I was chasing the richest user achievement for so long when it got squashed. I understand that checking that data was a drain on the system. I also understand that Subeta wants to move away from hoarding achievements. So I expect this to not happen, but I can dream, yeah?

Subeta was a third space between my school friends when I was still in elementary. I had a lot of fun coming up with art and backstories for my pets and sharing them with my friends when we met up.

My favourite memory isn't really one thing. It's spending ao much time on here with friends, chatting, getting to know the site well (after we moved over from elsewhere), getting involved in site activities and plots, personalising everything from pets, to HAs, to sidebars and profiles.

It was finally restocking a rare and/or high value item, getting that long sought after achievement, earning enough SPs to be able to spoil yourself, friends and random people. And getting sent items from random people because it's on your wish list is lovely.

Something I'd Love to See

I'd love to see big collections have an easier way to be sorted, searched and worked on. Finally deciding to complete the Plushie/Beanbag collections but having to spend forever going through the many pages, adding to WL, moving to a different category in my WL and having to check constantly is frustrating for my ADHD brain. It'll have bursts of (hyper-) focus and then just get bored.

On a similar note, being able to add items to more than one category in a wishlist or having multiple wishlists somehow linked to galleries/wardrobes/achievements/pets to make it easier when you items that you want for more than one place/action.

(And the wardrobe or vault categories being less boring to sort too. But I realise that's totally a me problem. 😂)

I miss having more time to be on here nowadays, but I still get my bursts of interest and come back. The new Kumos site is a bit difficult for me to get to grips with (and I still actively avoid it for the day to day things I do when here. Oops!), but that's bwcause I've had over 17 years of doing it the other way.

I think it's great that it's continuing and evolving so that players stay engaged and new ones join though. ☺️
