There's a whole ton of memories in those years. Friends I've made, friends that have moved on, friends that have passed away, pets I've adopted, achievements I've made - the list is kinda long. I guess a standout for me would be the first time I won the pet spotlight. Silly, maybe - but it meant a lot to me and encouraged me to work harder on my other pets..writing, designing - still gives me joy today even though Subeta does not feel like the site it once was....

Something I'd Love to See

I would like to see some new pet species, pet colours - anything pet related. This was in the beginning, a pet site. And that's what got me hooked.

One of my favorite memories here is my interactions with my dear friend Gina. She was the kindest and most generous person I ever met and losing her shattered me and all her friends. I will treasure her memory forever.

I remember the first time i actually participated in Lumi, not only by gifting my friends but also joining forum games, giveaways and chats. Not only was i amazed seeing many gifts under my tree, but recognizing the names of new and old friends there was something beautiful to see.

Something I'd Love to See

I wish there was a new game mechanic, like a housing system, i might be dreaming high but i'd love to expand a small space into a house with multiple rooms, decorate it, buy furniture, browse floor and wall colors. Maybe even have a crafting system, with gathering and woodwork skills for pets. I just love simulation games with levels and upgrades.

I've been a lurker on this site for years, I really don't have any friends that play but there are several people I have met just by happenstance, Lumi, or otherwise that have snuck their way into me thinking about them or checking on them. The community on this site is unbelievably powerful!

you know me I love me some pop culture items, any chance to get some items that reference other media is always fun for me!

This place is a labor of love and all the hard work put it in makes it worth the monthly subscription. You keep us posted, you work hard when things go wrong, and after 21 years thats crazy impressive!

I don't want this to be taken as a complaint because I am very greatful, but more flavortext/effort for the holidays. I feel like when the holidays are announced now its just like "Heres the links to what you need, have at it" - and I think it might make it lack lustre for new players who don't have all the background information and lore we've known for years.

The Blake Steele Plot was so much fun! I remember chatting with friends at the time while plot parts were being released. We were all so excited and had fun figuring out each step. I still have and treasure all of my mosaic tiles. That said, I also appreciate the downtime from plots, as there seemed like so many so quickly at the time. I also love and appreciate how open you've been to feedback on the site. Getting to share input on how things develop has helped me feel like Subeta is a place where contribution matters.

Ok, maybe a little bit of plot again. :) I think houses are a cool idea, especially given how much furniture we can find on the site. I do recognize the huge ask that is for art and programming.

Oh wow, okay a few great ones over the years. Pulling Azana out of the pound at teir 4 was amazing. My first spotlight win with Serrated made me realize I could compete and have <3

The sidebar shout box, randomly chatting, those give aways. making friends, and just chilling. We all learned so much when you dropped in Keith and shared the behind the scenes going on. It's really been 20 years? Dude. just... wow time flies. I so miss those background images. The colored boxes too XD some were seriously hard to see. but made it easy to know who was who.

The Plots around events were amazing. Skitters plots were my amazing-really got the bite out of depressing love-month, but the Dungarde one is my fave.

as much as I would love to see a plot. I just want to see Subeta on one website and fully integraded so it can be played.

I remember the RS & Chat thread very fondly, it used to be very active and I made a lot of friends that way. Each person who started a thread would pick the next person, and we'd pick themes each time. I still remember mine was weird ice cream flavours x) My biggest RSing achievement back then was snagging a Steamwork Key Stone Mold when the Sable Smithy had just opened and we didn't know what it was for yet!

I'd love to see plots again, even on a much smaller scale. It'd be lovely to get some character development for NPCs or back stories. Even some sort of "rewind" event, like a mini event to get old plot prizes or prize s that tie in with the theme or something would be amazing 😍

Finally getting accepted to the Subetan Runway cult! I'd been sweating for WEEKS trying to come up with the perfect HAs for my application and when I got the news that I'd gotten accepted, I was so excited! I made so many great friends at the time and even though a lot of them have since left the site, I'll never forget the fun we had!

I'd love to see a homes or rooms feature! Where you could use furniture and accessories to decorate either an entire home for yourself and your pets, or rooms for each of your pets to help really show off their personalities!

My favorite memory was meeting/reading about Skitters. It's been so long I don't even remember if he was here before or after I started playing but I love how he types in all caps and is just so wonderfully dead.

My favorite memories of Subeta were the plots, quest-a-thons, restock competitions, etc. I miss the collaborative/competitive things. I liked seeing reminders of the daily things in the shout box and being able to look at it here and there to talk to people. The forums feel more... permanent? Formal? IDK. But shoutbox was my jam on old Legacy site.

Oh how I wish I had been here since the very beginning, but I missed the first couple of years. Subeta has been my save haven on the internet since I was a teenager, it kept my attention like honestly nothing else has. It's crazy that I've been here 19 freakin' years now. I think my most cherished memory was becoming a minimod in the Roleplaying forum when I was in college. I dropped off after I graduated and thus lost the position, but it meant a lot to me to feel like I was really part of the something on the site!

I'd love to see a return of an event like the reading drive or EPICon! I still remember frantically restocking rare items in the shops and feeling like I made a difference for my choosen team! Just another site-wide plot to uncover would be fun- I was a part of all the ones except the Morostide 2018, which I regret because Morostide is my favorite holiday besides Survival!

I started playing Subeta as a teenager, 17 years old, and i'm 36 now. A lot of my memories are hazy from back then because of my shitty family life but I remember the grand distraction Subeta was from said shittiness. I remember being happy to do all my quests every day, browse the adopt r us for pets that needed saving, starting collections and giving up on them, saving up hundreds of millions of points and feeling sooooo proud... I remember Subeta as my Sanctuary

I am so happy to still have this piece of nosalgia and so grateful to the folks that keep it going. I have been critical in the past because of lack of transparency as far as where subeta was headed but I think I was just paranoid that it would disappear and I would lose my little corner of it. Thank you thank you thank you for keeping it going and good on you guys for actually wanting to evolve and improve it STILL after all these years! I LOVE SUBETA

Getting into when I was in high school. I had just turned 17 (I may have been accepted on my birthday?) but I remember sitting at my parents' kitchen table and getting a ping stating I was accepted. These people have in my life for almost half of it at this point (from forums to IRC to discord, now) and I'm so thankful I had the chance to meet them and even more thankful they stuck around through me being a nightmare teenager.

I would love for more redeemable hairstyles, or even a system where someone could make or submit salon-able hairstyles ala CWs. I know it'd be an insane amount of work but avatars and the salon have been such a huge part of my subeta experience.

I remember the Cruise vacation plot with a lot of fondness, it was a great way to get samplings of new lore and items based on the different Subeta regions. and I think its influence has rubbed off on how I'm building my pet, Recline!

I cant wait for the Bloodred Urubu to be available! it'll be perfect for my Walda, a pet who is an homage to my first DnD character: a half-orc ranger.

The first time I got to level 15 on my own in Battle Quests was last year, and I was so hype! ... I haven't been able to get back there yet, but I'm going to keep working on building my pet up!
