I just really enjoyed all of the old plots from like 2009-2013, especially EpiCon! Oh, and I adore Survival and the zombie strains every year. Watching them progress is so cool!

... EpiCon 2026???? Or just another site-wide/team event with supporting one of two NPCs. Oh, or the option to get some of the mid-stage zombie strains as avatar items or skins.

I fondly remember playing Subeta with my best freind back in 2006while we were in college. She was in a different state than me at the time, and it was such an awesome way to connect. We would send items back and forth with descriptions/themes that we thought were funny or cool, and spend a good deal of time in the roleplay forums. I would sit in the library with my laptop and decompress between classes, playing Subeta games and doing as many quests as I could. All these years later, I still love it just as much!!!

I also would love to see more plot-related things!! The characters of Subeta feel so rich, and I'd love to do more with the story and lore of Subeta!

I love the holiday events so much, they are definitely something I watch the callender for and look forward to every year!!! I also really enjoyed the new Melody's Cottage system, of getting old items again, with a few new ones here and there.

I've been on Subeta a long time but honestly, Subetageddon 2011 - it wasn't a great time for the site but the community came together and kept each other's spirits up during that dark time. I still have my commerative magnet that one of the other users did.

Also, all the theorising about Amy being reinanimated as one of the unliving. that was fun.

I'll second what a lot of others have said and say plots! I know however, that with a skeleton staff it might not be possible. Also going to echo the search taking you to the proper tab in the shop would be Brilliant.

I love Subeta and hope it never dies and when I die, if my afterlife doesn't have Subeta....I'm going to have words!

It's unreal to think I've been on Subeta since 2021. I know many users here have decades ahead of me, and I'm so sad I didn't find out about Subeta until later in life, but I'm also just happy to have found it at all. My favorite memory is the friends I've made here and celebrating Luminaire with them. Last year, I made it a goal to gift 500 unique users and I accomplished it! It was so much fun to see everyone's reactions when they opened their trees. Luminaire is still my favorite holiday on the site!

I kind of miss the random mini challenge events. Namely, the questathons or new lore adventure events that added depth to characters we see on site. Maybe we can bring back past events so new players can get the prizes?

Can't remember the year, but honestly, this speaks for itself: I spent way too much time laughing at the image in my head of us all throwing random junk into the ravine, and then slowly turning to Blake and grabbing him to toss him off as well. I spammed the button... Sorry Blake but I'd do it again.

Perhaps more readable pre-made dark-mode type layouts. I'm really light sensitive and find myself squinting at most of the lighter page layouts and have been struggling to understand the new CSS widget system compared to the previous custom CSS function. I did manage to make my own layout years ago but it was very duct-tape-and-pins style using Inspect Element.

Been here almost 18 years 🫣 kinda crazy to think I've spent more years playing Subeta than not. I always get excited when new pets, colors, NPCs, cities, or even just beautiful wardrobe items available for sP/holiday currency are released of course, but I think my favorite memories have been holiday plots like A Bad Omen, or going back in time during Masq, or Jaxon and Ian's plotlines together. Also, growing up with the site and seeing the casual way the team gives representation for queer and marginalized communities❤️

OH also this might be ironic since I don't have any as pets yet, but I loved the release of the Blobs. Love those little guys. They make my day whenever they get a new color or a Blob item is released. Similarly with Lurby items 😁

There's honestly a lot of good ideas brought up by people in here, so here's some ideas I'd like to second:

• House/room customization sounds really fun! The wardrobe is my favorite part on the site, and this would be the same sort of customization, so I think I'd really like it. Maybe each pet gets a room? Or just a house/room on your profile.
• Being able to get the Coucilor's Cruise event hairstyles again! I was taking a break during this event so I never got them 😭
• Of course, item revamps are always appreciated, but they're not super high on my list. Revamps of really old pet art is a bit higher up for me though (for example: quite a few of the Graveyard, Darkmatter, and Spectrum/Blacklight pets look pretty dated nowadays. The Bovyne, Dilemma, Kora, Mortiking, Pherret, and Wyllop in particular seem to have some of the oldest)
• Resolution/more lore re: Gunter and Bubbles plot.
• Omg a slight revamp of old backgrounds filling in where the avatar cutout used to be would be really appreciated!
• IDK how hard it would be to implement, but someone mentioned being able to move or even just flip wearables (like for foreground/background/etc items) and that sounds cool! Adds a lot more usability and creativity to some items.
• Bringing back old retired shop items (maybe even old Subeautique?) in some way would be nice. Some users didn't even have accounts before some of these items were retired.
• I'd also love to see Trivia (and maybe some other old games) come back.
• Better wardrobe micro-organization, like the old color filters, or sorting by Holiday, or by type beyond layer.
• As Shadow said "What does the other side of Subeta hold?"!!! I'm sure this would be a huge undertaking though, but I hope it gets revealed one day 😊
• Custom minion overlays is a genius idea!
• "mid-stage zombie strains as avatar items or skins" YES please!
• As Brian said, it'd be cool if y'all did merch again! I imagine any kind of additional income for Subeta would be a boon for the site, and I'd love plushies of some of my favorite pets, or pins or stickers, etc. Even if it was more simple items like stickers and shirts and it was handled through a third party where they printed and shipped items from their own warehouses, as long as you guys were able to make a profit and users got to buy merch that'd be cool!

Since I listed a ton of other people's ideas, here's a couple things I'd love implemented that I didn't see mentioned. Just two really small things:

• PLEASE implement the "back to inventory" button when you add an item to the wardrobe. It used to be there and just isn't anymore for some reason? Almost every other action you can take gives you a button to easily go back to inventory, but for wearables I have to specifically navigate to the sidebar and click on the button there. It's not really a big deal, but it's a small annoyance that's built up over time and hasn't been fixed yet.
• I'd also really appreciate if more items were added to the Bathhouse Shop instead of other niche currency shops. I (and I assume a lot of other users) have soooo many tokens from going to the bathhouse daily but I've already bought everything I want in there.

Thats it! Besides that, I'd like to thank Keith and the whole Subeta team for sticking on all these years and not giving up on this silly pet site. It means a lot to all of us, and I hope Subeta continues on for many more years. I appreciate all the work everyone's been putting in, and I hope the site gets to a better place where the team has more income, time, and flexibility to bring it back to what it once was. ❤️

There were lots of fun plots, but most of them were playing alone. I particularly liked the plots or events where you had to play together to obtain a goal. Be it a questathon where you had to reach a goal of quests together, Nico vs Manwar where both teams had to play games, and especially Battle of the Bands. I formed a band with people I didn't know then, but I remember having so much fun. It's been years and years ago, but I still remember our band, and roughly the outfits we had. We were Elvish Parsley, and dressed up a bit rock and roll'ish with Elvis hair, but with veggies on our avatars (like Leek Earrings). It was silly, but really made playing fun.

Plots and events of course. Even re-playing old ones would be fun. And bringing old items back, mostly those needed for achievements. Like Calvin Blackmoon Costume, for example. Both would be fun for nostalgic reasons for old players, and giving the chance to experience it / gain old items for new players.

I've always been a pretty lonely person all my life, growing up an orphen and having a difficult time making friends because I felt judged by my life. Subeta has always been a safe home for me whenever I need to talk, or share some news, or just seeking some social interaction. Everyone has always been friendly and eager to include others, and I haven't gotten that with other communities, and that has been a very valuable and honestly probably life saving thing for me and anyone else who's secretly or not so secretly going through difficult times or lives. As long as subeta is around, I can always say I have a friend.

Honestly, it might be a bigger project than expected, but having body parts as seperate layers would be amazing for outfit making. Would make a lot more wearable items, such as CW, easier to work with and more useable with site items.

I joined in 2012 when the Survival Plot was going on and had the Blistered Hearts zombie skin (which I loved.) But I eventually got tired of not being able to do "human" customizations, so I got rid of the skin. (Instant regret.) This was well before we had skins in the wardrobe but when that feature became available, Blistered Hearts was the first zombie skin I unlocked. :)

I also remember when pet names still had to be unique, coming up with all kinds of misspelled real words or creative spellings for characters I wanted to make. Sometimes I could get the original name in a clearing, but not always. The day non-unique pet names became a thing, I think I literally did a "Whoop" out loud. (Good thing my husband is used to my particular kind of crazy. ;) )

I would love for there to be a way to get old collection items that were from events/trivia/etc. added directly to collection, like what we have in the Antique Shop. Getting those last 23 plushies is...kind of a slog, TBH. I'm fine with paying large amounts of SP for those last few items, but there always seem to be some that don't exist on shop search.

It would also be great if there was some way to get achievement prizes needed for collections in some other way. (And possibly a way to buy/earn duplicate copies of an item if you've already earned the achievement, again for collecting purposes and/or Pet TCs.)

I just want to say thank you for the world of Subeta being a safe and inclusive place where we can escape the (often-yucky) real world and bring our characters to life. :)

I really enjoyed the plots when we still had them. It was fun having them introduce new shops, regions, NPCs, battle challengers, etc. Made the game feel much more surprising and lively.

I don't know if it's realistically possible to run full-on plot arcs anymore due to the tiny team and tight budget of modern Subeta, but I really do miss plots. Having no plots for years has made Subeta's world feel strangely sterile, as if the whole game has gone into maintenance mode. If plots aren't possible, could we at least get the more modestly sized area expansions that were promised years ago?

I mostly keep to myself around here, but I've only ever had wonderful interactions with people. The community is very kind. One of my favorite memories is when I commented very, very excitedly about a new hairstyle that had been released and was similar to my IRL hair, and someone saw and wanted to gift me that item :) we have been internet friends ever since!

Very-much-wanted suggestions:

1. Harvest Illumise (something moth-esque as a counterpart to its Glade form)
2. Harvest Aeanoid
3. Ability to freely arrange our galleries like we can with our sticker album and pet treasures

random ideas I've had, in no particular order:

1. a dedicated butterfly pet in general, although I know the Illumise kinda fills that role--I just love butterflies :)
2. I love how the Blob transforms completely based on its color! It'd be cool to see a flower pet that changes in a similar way. For example, it could be a cherry blossom if it's Cherry, a sunflower if it's Sun, a dead flower if it's Graveyard, etc. Black tulips are my absolute favorite flower, and if this suggestion ever became a reality, I'd LOVE for that to be an option (maybe for Twilight or Darkmatter?)
3. I am also a bird lover and really appreciate the variety of bird pets already! If you ever release more, I'd love to see a hummingbird and/or swan-inspired pet!
4. Maybe a smaller (compared to Black Friday) Cash Shop sale sometime during the first half of the year

I didn't get to participate in any events besides EPICon and I think a Masq one from years ago? Not enitrely sure why, but I don't think I was as active as I am now. With that being said, I really enjoyed those events. Especially the EPICon events because it brought the community together and we got to dress up as our favorite characters which is SO fun to me because I love playing around in the wardrobe most on here and loved the challenge of finding the perfect items to create my characters

It was also so fun seeing everyones creativity and recognizing so many characters

Also, like said, being accepted into CHIC around 2012ish and meeting my best friend through there. I do miss cults being a thing on here but I doubt that would ever make a comeback. Thankful that we can all still chat in discord though <3

I know in its current state this is a big request, but I do really hope to see big community events like EPICon and event plots again in the future. Also maybe limited re-releases of very expensive retired SubQ sets would be really nice. But not to the point that the prices drop really low. I like when I have to work towards items. Maybe it can be a mini event like SubQ designers doing a small pop-up shop bringing some designs out of retirement and offering a new item or two or pop-up exclusive sets?

I remember when we used to have Luminaire stockings on our profile instead of Luminaire trees. I remember thinking that it must be magical because there is no way all those presents could fit into that tiny little stocking. lol Don't get me wrong! I love the tree and decorating it. It's fun to dress the tree, like dressing my HA. I really like playing around with layering things on both the tree and my HA. I can really let my imagination go wild. Especially since the cap for layer items on certain parts of the HA was lifted.

I've written about this in the Suggestions forum months ago, but I would absolutely love for the wardrobe to have a button where I'd only be able to see unowned items. Currently, when searching for items, we can set our Visibility to "Owned items" and "All items". I would like an "Unowned items" button. I can think of two ways in which this can be helpful for users (though I'm sure are probably more).

1st: For people who have very large wardrobes looking for a specific kind of item for an avatar.

• Currently If I want to find an item, I always start sort by "Owned items" first to see if I already have it. If I don't, I have to select "All items" to see I need to buy the item I want. However this means I'm seeing both items I already owned and new items, which adds a lot of time to my search. An "Unowned items" feature would really make the search for the item much more efficient.

2nd: General use for users who want to search for items to buy to expand their wardrobes.
