I started here 17 years ago when a friend finally convinced me to come check it out! Zero regrets! I have so many wonderful memories! Loved all the plots- so much fun! Then there was Survival before the skins were unlocked in the wardrobe. LOL- so many noseless HAs! Forum role-play events. Squirrels unite! 💕Some of the loveliest people I’ve connected with on here were at the Wayward Squirrel!

I love this site! It’s like home away from home with friends and family from all over the world! It’s gotten me through a few rough patches in RL. It’s my comfort place- somewhere that I feel safe to be myself. Thank you Keith, Amber and all the amazing staff over the last 21 years for making it so! For all of us. Here’s hoping we have many more with you!

My first memory of subeta is leaving Neo and signing in to subeta for the first time! I met so many ex-neoers and made some awesome friends. I was a bit lost at first but then I met , joined her forum group and voila!! Met some friends that I still have to this day. Having the Captain finally earn pet spotlight, Getting my first CW through and put on site, making sure you collect your bank interest before using your points, being afraid something in your inventory would get stolen, and so many more!!

I am like so many others and would love to see plots, bands, pirates vs Islanders, and all that fun stuff come back into play!! I love playing on teams with other players.

I remember the year we did the Morostide plot where we helped Jaxon and Ian with bringing them back together. It was something I hadn't expected from a server like pet site before and seeing it done so causally and like the normal thing it was made me really emotional! I still to this day keep a copy of the snapshot from that event in my inv, locked and there so I can always see it cause it makes me happy!

More options for the site's colours/text size to be adjusted so those of us with vision issues can either adjust the sizing of texts and all easier, including the information popups for items, as well as possible darkmode or the like/

It may seem silly to some, but the attention to detail, the level of dedication, and just the love and joy that the staff and everyone puts into this website makes me happy. From the little groups fo events like Survival to the "Hey, I'm gonna be away for a while, have a bunch of stuff in my vault, anyone want xyz?" sharing with others, to the fact that the holidays aren't just carbon copies of xtian ones with a diff name, and the care shown when things like the Duality's prior name and story being a possible issue and how that whole thing was addressed. It's a rare find these days, but this site is one I adore and love. Thank you, staff.

Getting the last shop till tier. It was around the same time that the shop system was about to become what we have now and I was so worried that it would mean starting over. I'm still so happy that I got it in time.

I'd like to see some sort of Dream pet colour that's the opposite of Nightmare, with the same general colour scheme as . Like if you did something like take your Nightmare pet to Nori or whoever, there'd be an option to change them.

One of my favorite subeta memories was when pet names got changed so that my name, that I really wanted to give to a pet, could finally be given to one! It's such a curse to have your name be locked to someone else's account. I was genuinely so happy and I made the pet on my birthday and everything. She even won the spotlight! It was such a joy! I haven't tried writing on these new forums yet... I hope scode still works.

Copying this from a forum post I made ages ago; this is the first thing I thought of because I still want it and it would be so easy to implement, and others wanted it too!

There's an item called the "Cursed Wings" on here that I like a lot--mainly for the angelic wing on it. But there are no items with both wings resembling that--nor is there an item with just the cursed bat wings to wear. Could we please get an item with both wings angelic? And additionally an item where both wings are cursed for those who prefer leathery bat wings on their avatar. The idea of the cursed wings with one of both is great, and I know there are many other wing styles available, but I'd appreciate having a set of just the angelic fluffy wings for myself because I'm just not as gothic as a lot of people are I guess ^^; no h8 I just want fluffy feathers...

Anyway! For thoughts on these items in addition to this already:

Item Name: Blessed Wings Item Description: Not-so-cursed wings... Item: Both wings are the angel wing from the one side of the cursed wings item, mirrored appropriately and replacing the opposite wing.

Item name: Mega Cursed Wings Item Description: See, now THIS is what I call cursed! Item: Both wings are the cursed wing from the one side of the cursed wings item, mirrored appropriately and replacing the opposite wing.

And as a last thought: If you wanted to, you could change the Mega Cursed Wings and just call them the "cursed wings" item, and change the original "cursed wings" item to be "Blursed wings" because "blursed" is a meme word I've seen in the last few years that would actually fit the item pretty well now (it's a combination of the words 'blessed' and 'cursed'). The original cursed wings item has the description "Eh, I'm sure they're not REALLY cursed." and my item description for the mega cursed wings is a comment on that description, while my item description for the blessed wings is a reference to the original item's name. Another way the items would reflect/mirror the original.

These added items could be added to the Mori/Nori quest shop for purchase.

I love subeta and I really hope it continues to thrive in years to come. I like it more than the other sites that were my gateway to the internet, the pet site that shall not be named and also this one that only had human avatars... this site is the perfect blend, pets and people, and I still think it's incredibly underrated. I don't know why more people don't use it, but I love this little slice of heaven on the internet that hasn't succumbed to rampant inflation like the previous sites I vaguely alluded to LOL.

Oh I have several memories! One of them is working day after day, month after month, year after year to earn the Hoarder achievement (45,000 items tier). It was so many years (around 7?) of not working on collections, pet treasures, and wardrobe to finally get there. And I had a lot of support from friends along the way! It was one of my biggest accomplishments on the site :D

My other greatest memory is when I was invited to join Unique, back in 2009! The original no-focus "cult", today better known as Forum Group, that I'm still part of today. It's what I consider my Subeta family.

Something I'd Love to See

I'd love to see new Forum Groups have their own shop and gallery so they are not "user ran". I'd also love to see more games added to the site! I know new plots take a lot of hard work and planning, but how about maybe a way to re-live some older plots, especially for new users to participate in, and older users to reminice and experience their favorite one all over.

I kid you not, my very first night when I very first joined Subeta.... I had only come because I was sick of neopets. they had just changed the layout to their site. I absolutely hated the changeover. the idea they had for the overlay items like sweaters and what not to decorate your pet became the primary focus. They just changed too much too fast... so I'm doing searches for online pet games and I come across Subeta. I went to the game section. I had played a few games from what I can recollect but I got stuck on the lottery. and I spent quite a bit of time playing the lottery that evening. well I eventually won the jackpot!!!! I was buzzing with excitement. this was a great start to my first day on Subeta!

I think refreshing the quest list items would be a great way to help stabilize the market. there are some rares and super rares that aren't requested much at all from what I gather. there is an overabundance of them and they don't quite feel rare or super rare when they're only 5,000 sp.

I was also was thinking like and making wonderful friends and having alot of good times and laughs with and I remember asking my daughter how do I make the money to feed my pets. I also remember I was gonna sell everything and not have a gallery but the artwork is so awesome I now have 3 galleries

My Subeta Memory

Member For: 19 years, 6 months, 6 days

I joined here with some friends and have build many more friendships here. I was a big battler and loved training up my pets, trying to gain boosters to increase my battle pet stats, battling challengers, talking to other battlers and learning things from others, runing a Competitive Training Board for a few years, staying up all night battling Hyra. I really loved all the Plots those were awesome and fun. It was nice to be able to communicate to the battle staff in the forums. I felt it was easy to pop into the battle forums and chat about battle stuff and ask for help.

I love gaining Achievements, some I'm not able to attempt which is ok so I work on the ones I can work on and hope to gain. Collections I enjoy working on too.

I'd love to see some new colours for our pets. I'd also really appreciate that when pets get revamps (massive whole pet species and individual colour revamps) , there is an option to change to updated version. I love my pets, and the thoughts of logging on one day to find someone has decided my favourite colours are not good enough is upsetting.

Survival has always been my favorite holiday, and I remember being so delightfully surprised when we had to collect all the different organs because it really added another layer of immersion to the event! Yes, actually, I AM a zombie. And I DO want your organs. (Well, only on Subeta!) And, of course, I love the memories of staying up late and getting up early to refresh Subeta and see if the new infections have progressed to the next stage yet and what they look like!

This is the silliest little request, but I'm always desperately trying to find just "basic" hair wearables. We get really cool outlandish, colorful hairstyles, but so few that I can use for making my HA look like myself. Most of the "basic" ones we have are from very early Subeta days (which I love the nostalgia!), but the art style is more "cartoon-y" that doesn't match items we get now. I've found options through CWs but would love to have some just everyday, normal hair styles in undyed hair colors in the current art style of Subeta. :-)

I still think about Peril at the Patch, it was easily one of my favorite plots on the site! I loved the writing and the gameplay of it, it was seriously a lot of fun! Sadly, I missed the Twisted Jaxon Skelly fight, but I was there for everything else. I remember reaching the end and feeling so bad Ian and Jaxon days after the fact. It was a really well done bittersweet ending. It was great to get a follow-up that actually did give the two a happy ending. Ian and Jaxon are still some of my favorite NPCs and Morostide is my favorite holiday!

I would love to see more plots, I always had fun with them and miss them dearly. I know they are a lot of work, but they were also really good!

I'd also love to see Sweety Dead and Peppermint become official colors.

I'm so happy that this site is still up and running after all these years. I still remember seeing art of a Spectrum Wyllop and immediately joining the site because of it. Subeta had reignited by love for pet sites. While the team is not as large as it used to be, I am still happy that Subeta continues to get updates and improvements. Thank you, Staff!
