It’s game day guys! Super Bowl VIII.

Got loads of American beer, snacks, soda and even an American vodka (crystal skull owed by Dan ackroyd)

Your soda is so so so sugary. My poor British teeth hurt after drinking it.

Got tomorrow off as usual as it’s going to be a late one. Ian’s team (the niners) are playing so hoping they win as they haven’t won since the 90’s.

Tomorrow I have an ECG, blood test and blood pressure test, that’s going to be fun.

Then weather permitting we go to the local wildlife park. Where I am in the uk has had three straight days of rain.

The tomorrow we are going out for our Valentine’s Day dinner. We hate going out on the actual day it’s so busy and foods stupidly expensive.

Hi Sorry I didn't reply earlier, I was busy cleaning (and relaxing as I'd finished my school work) and then my neighbor invited me to come play card games and watch the superbowl if I wanted - I don't normally watch unless someone else turns it on. I do like to see the commercials... I was thrilled to find out who was playing because I knew I'd enjoy the game!! I LOVE the 49ers even tho I have no idea who any of the players are LOL They are just my team for whatever random reason I picked them as a kid so I still always root for them. Also I LOVE Patrick Mahomes LOL So it was a good game for me to watch. However I came home and went to bed around 930 so I have no idea who won. (Chiefs had just scored and got the lead, barely when I left)

Then I had an AWFUL freaking night because my dog is scared of storms and she was going nuts all night. So I am exhausted from dealing with her and not sleeping :(

Man, I was really hoping for the niners to win, something about Mahomes face just makes me angry. He always looks so annoyed with everything LOL. Looks like the game got great after I gave up and went to sleep! :P

Here we're prepping for 8-12 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow so.. ugh. :P

Ah the Chiefs won then? :) What I watched was a very good game. I left near the end of the third quarter. Mahomes does have an angry face, but he is a good player. (And a good "come back" player too! - when he is behind he gets better somehow LOL or so it seems to me whenever I've watched).

Oooh snow! I wanna see snow falling. But it cannot stay and I do not want 8-12 inches of it! :o

It was an ok day at work. The child who was supposed to start half days this week, did not. I do not know why. The lead teacher is not sure why. We only know that no one came to get him. I think she emailed admin, but not sure. And if she did that, and they said anything back, she didn't tell me. However he did have quite a good day, for him!

Well.. we got a dusting haha. Like.. maybe a quarter inch?

So.. yay, a Flexible instruction day with no shovelling! :P It's nice because they just have to check in for their homeroom, then they do their work at home, no online classes except the 15 minute homeroom. And teachers have open office hours for 2 hours in the morning in case anyone needs help.

Yes, they won in overtime! Looks like the niners got a field goal, followed by the Chiefs getting a TD :(

Booooo for him having a full day.. but at least he was behaved.. ish!

Eh. Well. Bad news. Today I found out that the "state" people (whoever the heck that is) refused to agree to the modified schedule, not enough documentation or something... So I guess that is why he didn't go home early yesterday... I just thought it was already approved and agreed...and mom forgot . Apparently not. Great. So ... Yea. Ugh. Today he scratched and kicked another child. Out of the room half the day

What is the point of this child still being here when he isn't even in the room to learn? At least half the time he is removed for something. We are going to go back over all of our notes and mark down where he hit bit scratched or kicked (hurt someone) or ran off (safety) and put all that together ... Rather than just the little documentation they asked for before. (Like tiny worksheet on did he follow directions yes/no several times per day) No idea if it will make a difference I think it would have made a difference if every time we had sent him to the office for those issues the office had fully written him up like we thought they had. But no. The first write up was when he bit two kids in one day At least three or four times before that he hurt kids worse than that!!!!

Ugh, that really sucks. And it's definitely partly on the office, because they should have written up EVERY report, like they're supposed to!

Yup. Oh well. sigh

Anyway. Happy Valentines Day!! I gave Nathan his candy (Sour gummy hearts and reeces cups in a heart box). And I am enjoying a homemade MVP chocolate cake from one of my students(parents) :D Yum.

Omg y'all I thought I lost my kid for a minute lol He was not in his bedroom or game room. I could not see him outside, but the car was still here... He has gone up and made a fire and I just couldn't see him lol But I was on a zoom meeting and pretty focused on that so I had no idea he's gone outside

As for the zoom meeting. Well I guess it went well. One person could not get onto the shared document then finally could but can't edit. So we gotta figure that out. We think it has to do with logging into the right email first. The original creator of the document forgot where it was and couldn't find it, so I had to reshare it with her ... Lol Anyway. We went over my part, which was the beginning of it, and they'll work on their stuff and then I know I will go back over it and add in some bits, checking with them (I am doing standards/gelds and will have to add to some things they put in) And then Sunday night we send it as a rough draft for feedback...and one week later as a final draft. Phew.

I cleaned my room last week? Couldn't really do much, can't really get rid of stuff because like.. we use it all. So it's going to continue to be a disaster. The only thing that anything could happen about is Alexs dresser, but. That's on him. :P

BUT TODAY. The living room. I'm going to clean it. GONNA DO IT.

For Valentines day.. I got Alex a container of mixed nuts while I was out :P And Iz requested brownie sundaes for dessert, so she and I made heart shaped brownies for them. (We ate the scraps on Tuesday night haha). That.. was the extent of it :P

Hahah yea my closet is like that. But I kind of made it that way? When I took all the stuff out of the attic. So now all my decorations for all the holidays are in the closet. So it ends up a jumbled mess until I organize it back again. I totally need to do my closet and bedroom again too. Reorganize and clean up. Maybe next week on break.

Awww yummy!! Good idea Iz!! I so totally enjoyed my cake from my little boy in class. Homemade cake is so good. I mean, I enjoy store bought cupcakes and stuff, but homemade is so much better. I enjoyed it for two days haha! It was in a mini bread loaf pan. And it was chocolate, so yep! The best! I don't make cake much anymore because it just mostly goes to waste as its only me and Nathan now. I would have liked to do something more but what do you do when you don't even have a Valentine to do something with? LOL Guess I'll figure that one out. I did get Nathan his candy. And I did get some valentines from the kids at school.

and one of the videos/games we played for the kids to be active was a "would you choose" and it kept doing valentines choices - except they were funny things like - would you climb a chocolate mountain or would you surf a balloon wave? LOL One was "would you make everything heart shaped for dinner" or "would you eat candy for dinner" LOL I rather liked the heart shaped dinner idea...

Got my religion discussion post done. Replied to one person. Need to read the last chapter, finish the study questions and do a quiz. Eeep. I feel like I'm falling behind LOL I have NOT read anything for my childhood class, nor done the flip for that. Only did the zoom meeting with my group mates. [edit] 820pm Whoop Whoop! Did my quiz. Got a 91/100 (13 questions, I switched 2 of the "select a choice" answers on one question, missed 5 points of 20 for that, and got a T/F question wrong. 4 pts off for that. Misread it. Ooops lol) This brought my grade up from a 95 to a 96.2 lol Turned in my study questions. So that is just one response left to do (and um, yea, I kind of skimmed the last chapter, to find the answers to the study questions rather than actually reading it all). Eh. EDIT - eh I finished the other response - when I went back into the class I saw some new posts, so I responded to one of them.

Guess I will read my education book next and do the flip video. Then come back over the weekend to do the responses for that

I read my two chapters and then watched the video and completed my flip recording. I was AMAZED at the room the video showed. It was a "sensory" room - and was a place for kids to go get emotions/energy/stress released!! They had a swing (round flat kind, a kid sits on the flat base and someone pushes the swing gently), bouncy (sit on) yoga balls, punching bags, heavy balls the kids could throw/move, ropes to flip around, (attached to the punching bags), a light wall for them to hit when it lights up in spaces, a walking path area (big soft blocks to step on or up & down and across) and even a calming corner where they had these blanket things to wrap up in and softer lighting. It was an amazing room. My little problematic child could SOOOOO use a room like that!!

"Mom, Gabe wants to hang out at chickfila, but first we have to go get Kai...is that ok?:" phone call later "Mom, Gabe and Kai want to go watch a movie, can I go too? I know I'll be home late, but I'll come home as soon as the movie is over" What do you do but say yes? Especially when the kid rarely goes anywhere with friends?

And oh gosh, that sounds awesome! Ben and Emmy have some really awesome sensory things, Bens favorite is to wrap up in a compression blanket thing and sit in a swing chair to do his homework.

Well I finally got a due date 😝 I knew July but now I know the expected date is the 14th. Grace Elizabeth will be her name. All seems to be going well.

Not for me tho. I woke up with a slight fever and a sore throat and have barely gotten out of bed today 😕

Yes. Oh didn't I tell you then? They are planning to get married on March 2. Now trying to see if I can manage to go be there for him. They plan to do a bigger ceremony next year since it's such short notice and they figure no one can come. But I told him if he wanted us there we would be there, we would find a way. So I'm waiting to see if Ryan is going to want to go Katie decided she wanted to go, but they want to fly....not drive. I was going to drive because I felt it would be cheaper ... Nathan decided not to go, mostly because he is a stay at home but but also because of the dogs ...and we thought Katie wouldn't be able to go .. Wesley just started a new job and Katie has work and school to deal with, like I do

755 Knowing I don't feel good, I went ahead back on my flip, since one more person posted, and just replied to those two people and turned in the names so I didn't forget to finish my work. I also popped over to the religions discussion (I like to see if anyone responds to me) and saw the TEACHER had responded to my discussion post hahah! Thats pretty cool.

Oh no! :( Just keep with the tylenol.. or day/nyquil! It shoudl help. And stay hydrated. Showering will help too, or just sitting in the bathroom with the shower on all hot.

I know you know all this though, but.. :P Can't baby you in person!
