, whenever Katie went anywhere, they got to select from the other people that went for their roommates/bedmates...is there just not enough people going that Lily was able to do that? It is very strange for her to have to sleep in the same room, let alone the same bed, with a stranger.

Nope, there's only 2 people from her school going, and one is a boy haha. So she just got put wherever there was a spot.
Oh I see. Well I guess I can understand that. Seems strange to me still tho, that so few are going LOL I guess because when Katie was in chorus it was HUGE. Like one year her chorus class had like 70 kids. So like well over 100-150 in chorus total. So only sending 1 kid somewhere for something is strange to me :P BUT~! HEY! GO LILY!! YAAAAY for being selected as the one!! I do hope all goes well for her.
I'm about to log on for class. FUN :P I only read 1 chapter of the 2 I was supposed to read. Not enough time. Oops. Oh well. (this is what happens when I don't focus I guess - and fall asleep lol)

The blue building also requires certain tasks before entering:
Obtain a blue building password Obtain at least 250 achievements Have at least 25 trading cards in your collection Train one pet to have at least 100 combined in the following stats: Strength, Defense, Health, and Speed Have at least 100 posts in the forums Complete at least one original treasure map
You get the blue building password from just chilling around the site, you don't need to write it down or anything.
The Uncharted Land Map is one of two assembleable maps that can be found on Subeta, they can be assembled at the Treasure Maps Game in the Games Room, the map is composed of nine items, each one a piece of the entire map. Assembling the pieces will give you access to most of the Omen Islands .

Salience is now training level. I just earned my first forum point i'm ginna save it till iv'e got enough to buy something nice they have some cool things in the forum shop
- I was slacking (I suppose) when I fell asleep reading the textbook hahahah but that is what I get for reading boring things after 8pm. The ECCE book isnt as boring, but I was trying to get the history reading done, so I could get the discussion done first -as its due Thursday, so everyone has a chance to respond. And thats the book I kept falling asleep reading.
No big deal tho, the ECCE teacher didn't even make it through to discussing the 2nd chapter last night, she was all "read the chapter, read the powerpoint, I'm letting ya'll go early, have a great night" :P
Good Morning :) It's a Gloomy, rainny windy day here today I have no plans to go out in this yuccky weather, tho I do have to take my puppy for a walk later, not looking forward to it at all lol
i'm not supprised you fell asleep reading a boring history book I think I would have too :P at least the other book isnt so boring and the teacher gave you an early finish :P hope the rest of the history book isn't too boring

Well, Lily didn't make it to regionals :( But still has today and tomorrow of districts, so that's fun. Hopefully she's having a good time, she's not spending a lot of time on her phone, which is good!

Its been raining pretty much all day for me too. This afternoon is a short break, its very warm atm. (like in the 70s!? What? After we were just in the teens...ok then)....and then supposed to rain more later this evening/overnight. AND all day tomorrow and Saturday. yay.

Hmm checking my emails. Looks like Nathan got removed from PeachCare For Kids (higher income limit state medicaid type program) and moved into medicaid (more or less, it says "Medical Assistance, Children Under 19). PCK has income limit of 4k a month, this other has income limit of 2100. And my income is just under 2k a month. He has no personal income at this point in time either :P That was a fast turnaround, and I think it was probably because I sent my W2 in lol They didn't call or ask any questions either. STILL have Shane and Katie listed as either "ineligible child or ineligible adult" LOL Whatever.
Oh so...our little problematic child I've talked about a bit - well this week has been awful. So. Out of the 4 days in this week - Monday he bit TWO kids. Wednesday he scratched one of those kids hard enough to draw a little blood. Today he bit ANOTHER kid through the shirt hard enough to leave teeth marks. Monday he was sent home. Wednesday he was sent home. Today he stayed at school ????? And then he RAN away from me at the bathroom (1230-ish - before specials/naptime) and I was so freaked out thinking he might have gone outside - I had FIVE other boys in the bathroom I can't just go off chasing this kid. He had actually gone all the way down the hall on the big kids' side, up over to the office area (back on our side) before a teacher got ahold of him. Then the vice-principal got him. He ended up with the behavior specialist during specials, then put into a Kinder class for the rest of the day - I found out later he ran away from THAT para while that class was in the bathroom too!! SO anyway. This all apparently leads to the principal emailing the PreK director that he wants a meeting for this child's behavior. At least THAT is something. I was shocked he stayed at school today after biting again. SO, Monday they'll be having a meeting with mom/dad, PreK director, principal and teacher. We shall see what is done now. (they did do an evaluation earlier in the year - like Oct or Nov? - but decided there wasn't anything to do, as he is fine academically and has no obvious issues that need support, he's just "young" - keep monitoring his behaviour, we can do something in Kinder) ??? WHAT ??? What about NOW? Well as I said, maybe NOW they will do something, as all this biting has happened AFTER that evaluation. So has the running off. EDIT: Oh yes. I finally remembered. So Tuesday, the day he did not physically hurt anyone, he got into EVERYTHING (like, toys, teacher desk/learning items, he tapped the (i don't know what its called - its like a giant tv/tablet) learning screen - and then typed on the keyboard and totally screwed up the lesson plans. He made noises, (farting, laughing, screeching, talking) constantly, and then whined he was tired. So since the behavior specialist was with us at bathroom time, I said she could take him back to the room to lay down if she wanted since he was whining he was tired.... he then proceeded to run up & down the hallway instead of laying down. She took him off to her room instead. Then as she was bringing him to the carrider line, she stopped to talk, and he TRIED to bite HER!!! I then heard him screaming and fussing about having to sit out in the car rider area instead of in the classroom until his car arrived. Ugh.
Man, seriously, if my kid was being bitten by a known biter and the school was doing nothing about it, I'd be so. mad.
like, I know you're doing the best you can, and I'm glad admin is finally doing something about it but like.. I'd be SO. MAD.

Right?? We've had one mom go talk to the principal, two speak to us seriously concerned -one through email and we forwarded that email to the principal, and the one yesterday who asked for a conference to discuss (as her child was the one bitten and then scratched) how to keep that child away from hers... again forwarded a message to the principal for that. Quite a few others have just asked us to keep their child away from him/him away from their child. In the past, all the admin has asked us to do is remove him from the room when he is disruptive, and if he injures someone, to bring them to the office (him and the child, so they can see the injury). We found out the day he bit the two kids - that he has NOT ONCE BEEN WRITTEN UP (office referral) for any of these previous incidents???? WHAT? He should have had at least 3 for biting alone. But hitting and kicking has sent him to the office too, and there is at least 5+ of those incidents where he hurt someone badly (like they got a bruise). sigh I mean, like, it's not nice if he bonks them, or if he pulls their hair, or pushes someone but we don't send him to the office for that because the other child isn't seriously hurt but we do remove him from the room, he has time out, we talk to the hurt kid, send a note home, etc - so only more serious injuries are sent up to the office. We'd have a never-ending parade of half the kids in the class going up there if we sent them for every little bonk/argument if you know what I mean, - because that is not just him, but all the kids do that sometimes.
ANYWAY. Thanks for letting me vent about that kid/admin. I will probably do so again in the future :P
Moving on. My dog woke me up at 4am and I am not happy. I am going to have a long boring day as it is at-home learning day today. I did get my background check/fingerprint check set up (the one required for college) - yay it worked this time! So I am doing that Saturday. I now need to register for the ethics class and do that (I am thinking maybe during feb break, when I'll have a bit more time to focus on all the studying but if I don't get to it until summer, it will be fine).

oh Kat that is awful you keep having to deal with that child I would be so mad if it was my child getting bitten and scratched! and the school was doing nothing sorry you have to deal with all that, it sounds like you have your hands full, and you can rant/vent anytime Goodnes kat you sound like superwoman lol :P
Lol thanks Chelle. Nah. I'm not superwoman but I am doing a lot right now Since you haven't been around, you don't know. But I just got my associates degree and now started working on a bachelor's in early childhood education. So I am taking online classes, in fall I will start hybrid classes (where I have to go in person some days). I also work (and have for 7yrs) as a PreK parapro (assistant teacher to 4yr olds).
So yea. I have busy full days with lots to do, when you add in my games (here, and I play Farmville 2) lol
Just found out that next year's school calendar has NONE of these at home learning days. Thank goodness!!!! PreK has had to do online learning in the mornings on those days while no one else did. Due to funding/days attended. Nothing more fun than prepping and gathering and sending home materials and computers for 20 kids to have 6 get online with us eyeroll
EDIT Was hoping the quests would have reset by the time I got home. Oh well. Got an email saying my $500 "refund" check is on its way from Mercer. The only $500 I know I was supposed to get I thought was coming from DECAL - but maybe DECAL had to give it to the school and then they are giving it to me? Maybe I mis-read how it works...Whatever! All I know is I am getting it.
Edit: 625pm AAAAAHHHHH I am on question 4 of 12 and I am already so done with these study questions. But I have to get them done, so I can do the quiz before Sunday night is over. Along with a flip video and 2 responses for the ECE class (before Sunday is over). I have my video speech written (sort of) but need to finalize it. And record it.

And I can't believe they didn't actually document any of that, that's seriously downright neglectful on their parts. And it makes you look bad, too!
So we went to the concert last night, and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE! And Lily said why she thinks she didn't make regionals.. she was singing the soprano part for half of us.. WHICH IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WORDS AND TEMPO. So she just hot messed it. She says she's going to try out again next year though, and actually really practice in advance, which uh.. she did NOT this year. So. Pfft on her.
Today we're going to the festival of ice, it's DINOSAUR themed this year! And I'm obviously very excited about that :P
