Yea I already did that. I only had a 60 or so day streak. I just can't seem to get back to higher numbers. I'll be fine. just annoying.

I do feel some better today but like I said, going to take it easy. I got back off the computer after less than an hour. Been sitting & reading. At least I'm out in the LR instead of in bed.

Going to send Nathan shopping when he gets up. I'm not going. I do need to go to the bank today or tomorrow but eh. If I don't go til later it won't be the end of the world.

Although I'm very happy to have the job completed I'm going to cry when I have an empty bank account after paying the contractor. he is stopping by to pick up a check today. Bye bye money.

[edit] Oh I'm glad I remembered to get back online for school. I totally forgot I had to reply to one more person. Got that done. Saw my study questions for the religions class was graded too. He gave me a 100 and complimented me on doing a good job with my answers "I didn't have to make any corrections" LOL

Also have spent the day washing my bedding. After yesterday it needed it :P Well it needed it before then, but after yesterday it REALLY needed it. Nothing like a whole day in bed sick to make you wash your bedding !! :P Now to get Nathan to help me make it because its easier w/ 2 people and I still am not feeling top notch yet.

I hate that feeling, after you empty your bank account for something.. even if that something is what you were saving for in the first place!

I had to wash my bedding yesterday actually, Cinnamon hopped up and just.. PEED on me?! I was so mad.

But at least I had clean sheets at the end. I basically immediately got up and washed it with vinegar and soap, then did a second wash.. and it did all come out, which is good!

Exactly! I am SO glad its fixed, glad I could pay for it (um or that the insurance did lol). So sad to see all that $ go. I know it made my bank account look good. I'm hoping to get a halfway decent tax return and KEEP that in there now (plus the Jan bonus, if we didn't get it in Dec, and the June bonus) - if my bank account has a decent amount in it for a longer period of time I think that will look better on me for getting my own mortgage (I think they look at your bank account statements for several months to see what goes in/out and if you can afford the mortgage? Its been a while...) - I know they look at other things too.

Oh yuck. My cats have never peed on my bed. They have puked on it. Shed fur ALLLL over it ALLLL the time. But never peed thank goodness. There is nothing nicer than snuggling into fresh clean sheets. I don't wash them as often as I should since it's such a big undertaking (a mattress cover, the sheets/pillowcases (for 7 pillows), the comforter, the sherpa throw-so four loads unless I do the mattress cover & sheets together - sometimes I do, sometimes I don't) and drying - the blankets sometimes take 2x as they bunch up. And add more time if I ever wash the pillows - which is like once a year? Sometimes twice or more if I feel they're nasty for whatever reason. I have 7 pillows because 1 is a body pillow to snuggle to, 2 are hard pillows Ryan liked (I put the pillow shams on them and cover up the sleeping pillows from the cats) and the other 4 are because my 2 nice pillows recently didn't sleep well anymore so I bought two new ones but THOSE didn't' sleep well either, so I combined them - so I have 2 softer pillows in 1 pillowcase to sleep on. It works pretty well. And yes this is excessive. I only need to sleep on one pillow LOL but eh. I tried last night only having the 4 sleeping pillows in the bed (in 2 pillowcases) and I snuggled to one of them instead of the body pillow - as the body pillow has had to be scrunched up this past year to feel comfortable to snuggle to and is down to the size of a regular pillow anyway.

Feeling a lot better this morning. I actually REALLY ate food yesterday (still not as much as normal, but waaay more than Saturday!) Going to try to do my reading for religion at least, and begin working on study questions and what I want to discuss.

I totally didn't do much on here yesterday. Only got 30 NYT so that tells you. I did get 2 morty cards so I'll use those today.

[edit] 10am Ugh ugh ugh. Stupid. Spent the last couple hours reading, to get online to begin answering study questions and realize I'd read one wrong chapter (I read chapter 3 instead of chapter 2 in one book). sigh Got to go back and read the right chapter now. Oh well. :P

I hate washing sheets and stuff too, though I don't wash everything at once, normally. I just wash the sheet and mattress cover together, and I'll wash the blanket together, and I wash the top blanket rarely since it never touches my body at all LOL.

And I have a ridiculous amount of pillows too, but they're all needed.

Hi lovely subeta friends! I hope you are all well! I worked my little butt off, right until new year and finally handed my thesis in! I got my mark fast-tracked because I've applied for something (that may or may not come to fruition!) so I got my grade back on Friday and although I only got 65 for my thesis, I've ended up with 73 overall, which is a distinction/first - phew!

I wanted to pop on and say thanks so much for my lumi gifts! I will message you lovely people separately but I am very grateful to have people who still think of me and gift me even though I'm only here sporadically!

I'll usually wash it all, including the comforter due to the cat hair :P Tho there are sometimes I'll wash just the sheets or just the sheets/mattress cover (and pillowcases - thats a duh goes with the sheets no matter what).

I hope its good, or that at least you are happy with what you've gotten!!! Ooh that reminds me, since I had to get the stupid transcript officially ordered, I did see that they'd gotten it sent over & received by the school on the 9th, so hopefully my paycheck will change appropriately! I need to order another one for the DECAL thingy. My mind went blank. not the scholarship but the other program i found out about. And get that stuff sent in for it.

[edit] So yesterday I still felt blah, so instead of going to work I went to the doctor. Flu negative, "gastro-whatever" and no medication except for nausea which is minor and not reallly bothering me that much. Come back if I get worse symptoms and not better. Felt ok most of the day, and so felt bad for NOT going to work, especially since no sub picked up my job. Lucky we have a "bridge" teacher who can step in and stayed in the classroom. Going to work today but still feel pretty exhausted. And very gassy :( But Dr said I could have gone back to work yesterday. Hopefully once I get there and get moving I'll be alright and don't get anyone else sick. (Tho I think I may have got sick from all them hahahah like I said, we had 15 kids in the school sent home Thursday throwing up. I didn't ever throw up but I felt nauseous and gassy and had a bit of the other things....)

It is 14 degrees this morning! BRRRRR And the high is only in the 30s. Going to be a cold day.

Ahhh Kat, I think I have the flu, too. I just feel.. awful. Chest congestion, laryingitis, my entire body aches (like.. I can feel every single joint in it, outlined in red), fever. Just feel awful LOL.

And yes, it's cold here too! 5 degrees this morning, high of 14. It'll get warmer this week though! Hopefully for you, too!

Ugh you must feel awfuller than me, with those symptoms. The flu test was negative. But I did feel a lot like I did last time I had the flu, AND all 3 teachers I work with had flu before Christmas, so thats why I did the test.

My mouth is numb :P Had a cavity filled. Hopefully its not numb anymore by the time class starts at 6. edit Oh well no worries on that. Mouth still numb, but teacher sick, so no class. Just an asynchronous assignment that I already completed and turned in :)

Well, I certainly don't feel GOOD! haha.

I took a bath earlier, but my dayquil wore off before I got out, so showering was pretty awful. Then the shower exhausted me, so I took some meds and then a nap haha.

YAY for class being cancelled, hopefully that'll wear off and feel better soon!

Still numb. Not as much. HUNGRY! May go fix dinner and carefully try to eat. Wasn't going to eat until after class, but since no class and I'm HUNGRY and nothing to distract me....

75% of the time I shower after my bath too LOL I do not like washing in a bath, just soaking. And a lot of the time I use epsom salts or a bath bomb, so I feel like I need to wash after soaking. If its just a hot water soaking bath, then I may or may not shower after.

My super expensive (to buy AND to ship) girl scout cookies showed up today. Gotta support my niece. And an email showed up asking me to support Parker. previous child in a class, now a girl scout. Loved when the kids stopped by the room with the order form, but guess I'll order some online from Parker too. At least no expensive shipping for those. She'll bring them to me :P Nathan wanted Samoas, I got us both a box of thin mints, and I got a box of Adventurefuls, since I had to buy 4 boxes from Kitiara in order for them to ship to me. I'll probably get more Samoas and maybe Trefoils from Parker :P

[edit] 610am Good Morning Feeling some better today. Still tired. Numb finally went away like after 7pm sometime. Nathan decided on more Adventurefuls and Tagalongs. I got an email for ordering graduation announcements. Nathan said they'd already measured them for cap & gowns. I have recieved NO information on the cost of that (I remember having done the class rings for the older two got me the cap & gown practically free or with a huge reduced price tho...so maybe? but why not send some sort of notice to parents?) $129 for 25 announcements (and tissue inserts, and envelope seals and address labels) - no name cards? The smaller package only has 10 announcements, but the same amount of the other stuff.. Not really sure HOW many I need, but I think I did the 25 for Katie and had leftovers.

Iz is selling cookies, too :P They are crazy expensive!

We didn't buy any announcements or anything, and didn't have to pay for their cap and gowns. But we would for rings ofc.

I just kind of made the announcements and party invites the same.. and I just made and printed them on shutterfly or something. It was like $20 for 35 or something like that haha.

Well since I did the official ones for Shane and Katie both, I'll do it for Nathan. But thats a good idea, to just do your own. Did they get to keep their cap and gown? We do, which is why we pay for it (from what I remember, tho like I said, I got a discount or free for doing the Junior class ring thing) - I did do some homemade ones for Shane - because I had so many more people interested, plus lots of the great grands were still alive, so that many announcements was too expensive, so lots of my aunts/uncles/cousins/friends got unofficial ones, and the main folks got the official ones. I added it up and I need at least 14-16 - my mama, my papa, Faye, Jimmy, Ryans 2 brothers, 2 sisters, my 4 brothers, my best friend, one for me, one for his dad, 1 for Katie, 1 for Shane (if they want them) - the 10pk is $80. And each individual announcement is $3.50. (I also added it up, and I'm only saving like $4 on the package instead of if I ordered 25 announcements individually and the other stuff LOL SO DUMB!!) We don't do a graduation party. Didn't for the others, won't for him. Maybe would have if had family close like you do!

Kitiara's cookies were $5 I think. But had to pay $13 for shipping, and had to order 4 boxes to get them shipped. So I paid over $30 for 4 boxes of cookies. Parkers are $6 a box, but no shipping. So $12 for those cookies. And for the most part, I can buy generic brand of the same basic cookie for $2 at walmart (I usually just get thin mints when I do gsc, but this year we branched out into other types) - which is why I don't usualy buy GSC but when its your niece..and a girl that stops in your class every day to say hello that asks you to buy...welll you support them don't you? :P I told Katie (Kitiaras mom, not my Katie) that next time I'd have Kitiara deliver them to grandma to hang onto for me hahahahaha then I get cheaper cookies and dont have to pay shipping and don't have to order 4 boxes if I don't want to. Gramma can put them in the freezer if I don't get them quickly LOL Or just eat them herself I guess. I ALMOST did that, ordered 1 box and was going to tell them to eat them for me :P But instead i decided on ordering myself some instead.

I could skip around, but am trying to at least finish the questions from one book before moving to the rest which are the other book, and I have only 2 more questions on this book. But my brain hurts from trying to figure out/think about what to say.

Yea. I hated the year Shane sold boy scout popcorn. That was ridiculous!! He was the only scout ever in my family (besides me). I refused to let the other two join up. We did other stuff (ended up being football/soccer/karate) LOL I do LOVE buying the popcorn tins at Christmas, tho I hate getting the tin at the same time because I do not need any more tins. But I love the popcorn. I was pissed it was almost $7 for a tin. They used to be $3 and then $5. And now almost $7? REALLY? Popcorn isn't that expensive, and neither is that tin!!!

Ah well thats good about the school paying for them and ya'll get to keep them. Not that anyone really ever does anything with them after, so its almost like, WHY buy one? Why not just rent or something. I have no idea where mine is. In a box in my moms house. I know I have Shane AND Katies here in my closet :P Probably where Nathan's will end up too.

Yea I am having economics flashbacks. Boring and exhausting and don't wanna do it but have to. I much prefer the education classes, BUT I am not thrilled about having to learn how to do more things just to turn in work. Whatever is wrong with just writing a discussion board post, or an essay paper? Why we gotta record ourselves to talk to each other? No thanks. But ugh. Thats what we gotta do. Flip boards or something, I don't even know. But its basically a recording of ourselves. Yay. NOT. I'd even prefer the animoto thing, at least there is no talking there, just posting pictures and typing words :P

Got my study questions done & turned in, replied to 2 others for the discussion board there. Done w/ that class. Did my flip video. OMG AWFUL I HATED IT. But whatever. I recorded like 5x and gave up and turned in the last one even with a tongue twisted moment. It was only like 1min 10 seconds so I hope thats long enough. It only allows you to record 1min 30sec anyway. Only 2 others have posted so far (one before me, one while I was recording mine) so I'll wait til tomorrow before I choose who to reply to (2 people!) and decide if I want to record a video response or type one in LOL Maybe more videos just to get the hang of it. UGH UGH UGH I didn't like it at all tho. I felt so stupid. Then the instructions say "use the chat messenger to tell me which 2 people you commented on" - so I THINK I know how to do that, but I am not sure. Eh we will find out later.

Ugh Kat, that does sound annoying!

And yeah, I just.. I just can't bring myself to spend $20 on $1 worth of popcorn. I just can't. There's so many things that I'm like "yeah, for the kids!" but like.. I can't. If it was even $10 I might be willing to suspend belief and my budget but.. $20?!

Youth group talent show was last night. Lily and her buddy little Lily (who's in 6th grade now, time flies!) sang a song together. It was really good, actually! I think we're going to see a lot more of little Lily next year once she's up the high school and there's solos.

I'll wait and check again this evening I guess, otherwise I am replying to those two people :P There is like at least 10-15 others in the class. Looked at what else I have to do for next week so I can get started on it. More reading, more study questions, more discussion posts, more flip posts :P NEXT week (after this week) is MIDTERM EXAMS AAAAAAAHHHH lol Well the ECCE class says exam. The religion class says "quiz" :P Same/different. Whatever. The religion teacher says "open book" but only gives 1 attempt and 40 min for 25 questions. Dunno how the ECCE class exam will do yet, it didn't say.

Talent shows are fun! I'm glad Lily got to have a song with little Lily LOL That sounds so cute and funny. Katie did a talent show in middle school, she did awesome. I found the recording in my memories last month. I was all "awwwww" over it :P

I keep telling myself if I want popcorn to just go to Ingles. They have a popcorn machine and do the little bags for like you said, around a dollar. And a big bag for not too much more. Fresh popped buttery popcorn. YUM. I am ok with microwave popcorn but sometimes it just doesn't taste right - and the regular bag is too much and the snack bags don't always taste the same and burn easier...so ... eh. As I said, I should go to Ingles :P

We have a microwave popcorn popper, it makes fresh popcorn super quick and easy! It's my favorite thing haha. this is the one we have, you can really make as much or as little as you'd like.

And the popcorn kernels are so stupid cheap like.. ahhhh :P

Yeah, Lilys sang in the talent show the past few years, and she MCd twice I think. But this year it was something different, and I'm pretty proud of her! Also, she helped someone else with his act. That was the "THOU SHALT LAUGH" sign that cracked everyone up!

That's a pretty cool popcorn popper. I've never seen a microwavable one like that. I've had the electric, plug in, air popped old fashioned looking ones. And I've done popcorn in a pan on the stove with a lid too
