I've been reading again. Starting tomorrow I'll have to read textbooks instead of for fun! :P
I did just go clean up all the dog poop from the dog pen....so there is that.

I.. basically did nothing today, except for I cleaned off the truck and shovelled around it while Alex snowblowed the driveway.
... then I took two tylenols and 500mg of naproxen because I was dying, just from that like, 10x15 rectangle of snow.
Yea. I think I've been reading ever since I learned how to read :P I've always read lots more than any of my brothers ever did. Like when mom used to take us to the library, they'd get 1 or 2 books and I would get the 10-20 allowed and I'd be done with them in less than a week and the boys never finished theirs :P I'm still the same. Give me a hefty new book and I'll read it all in one night. Two max!! :P So the kindle books I read don't take me long. I often read 4-5 in a day or more if I read all day long :D

I read a book today, but I can't bring myself to start another one, because I really liked that one and I liked the people and such and I'M STILL ATTACHED :P So now I have to wait until maybe later tonight or tomorrow or something.
Well to be fair, when I read multiple books, it is USUALLY (not always) a series, so they are connected characters. :) That wasn't always the case when I was a kid, as little kid books aren't' usually series, but once I found series books I did read them back to back too LOL
ACK! Kids come back to school today. AND I start college class today - at my own pace at least, the zoom meeting one starts Wednesday - but I'll be looking at all the info of what is upcoming today for sure!
I hope Nathan is easy to wake up this morning. Also that he does well in his classes this semester. I was so upset because I swear he told me he failed one last semester, but when I looked at his grades on infinite campus friday (when grades were due) it says he passed all of them, but his FINAL exam grade was a failing grade so maybe thats what he meant. But he PASSED the class. So he is still on schedule to graduate atm. He has TWO english classes - 10th grade english for the THIRD time and 12th grade english, physics (I hope he passes that), and a PE class (weight lifting or something)-which I was surprised by because I thought he wasn't getting any electives this semester. I guess he's doing better than I thought if he has an elective period. Not that it matters now if he fails something he might not graduate because I think he HAS to pass his classes (except PE in which he will probably have a 100) to graduate. I'll have to check with the counselor to see what he HAS to pass to graduate. He has more than enough CREDITS, but some of them have to be specific classes. (such as the 10th grade english)
Oooh, good luck! And good luck Nathan! (Here, gym isn't an elective, it's a must have.. legally. So it's interesting to me that it's not there!) I hope he makes it! At least he passed all his classes!
We've been back to school for almost a week now haha. I'm going in today, then the elementary on Wednesday, Thursday off I guess?
You must take PE at least one year. Actual PE. Or you can take 3 semesters of ROTC instead. But they have multiple other classes I call PE classes because they are based in the gym but aren't real PE. Like the weight lifting and there are others but I forget what they are
Yeah, we need PE every year, required. It can be weightlifting or something else, but it's all PE.

Wow no. Just one year is required. Or I guess one semester now that they do block schedule. They have so many other choices. Culinary, construction, drama, chorus, art, ROTC, three or four different languages (I know Spanish, German, French so it may just be three),childcare, tech stuff of several types, the PE type classes, and I dunno what else. Oh the AP courses if you want those. And of course, the dual enrollment classes for college Which includes more choices like airplane mechanic, welding, car mechanic, as well as the college level culinary, art, language etc. and basic education classes (English, math, science etc).
edit: 7pm Well that was interesting. My religions teacher did an optional zoom meeting. So I attended. mostly to make sure I got zoom to work correctly so that when I have the required meeting on wednesday I know it works hahahah But it was nice of him to do that, we just basically went over the syllabus and he asked if we had any questions, that type of thing. I totally forgot about eating dinner so now I'm having a sandwich. I need to make sure to eat before meetings hahahah :P I can tell I will be irritated by the meetings tho because if I have to sit on the comptuer for 4 hrs I'm going to get very restless, I was only on for one hour and had to start moving my legs. Ugh. I almost had to get up. I guess I will have to talk to the teacher if it becomes too much, or get the laptop or something so I can move if I need to.... I also had to tilt my desktop screen allllllll the way down and sit the chair ALLLLL the way up for me to be visible properly in the camera. :P Weird. [edit] Good Morning 545am So. At 935 last night, the district cancelled school for students and employees due to the weather. Its very stormy out. Windy, rainy, they were worried about flooded areas, tree branches falling, and kids being in the storm waiting on buses, so they cancelled school. Ah well. A whole day to work on college stuff instead I guess!
Edit 740am DOWNPOURING RAIN here! Sheesh. Anyway. 119 NYT, FIVE amulets! And 2 morty cards this morning. Now to go read my 2 religion chapters. Fun. [edit] Wednesday 350pm Ok so. 1 morty card, 2 amulets and about 120 NYT because I accidently turned some in earlier so I'm not sure on the exact count. Today is my online zoom class. Yay. I have my 5 things in a "shoe box" (not a shoe box but i had a small box, no shoe boxes here i dont keep them).
5pm WHY are 300 words so hard to come up with??? I have not quite 200. And I am out of things to say unless I start repeating or rephrasing myself (which I probably will, a "in conclusion" type of paragraph to finish out.)
705pm Break time! And thank goodness!!! The teacher said she will rarely keep us in zoom longer than 830. Phew. I was so freaked when it said the classes were 530-1015!!! We start at 6 instead. And she said off by 830 usually. And get a 10m break during. Phew. Lol
Ahhhh, sorry. We ALSO had school get out early, and then go in late the next day, because of the weather. It was super super windy and rainy, and melted all the snow we got like two days before that, so flooding was supposed to happen. It wasn't too bad, though! But the internet was out for days, could only go on my phone normally. So annoying!
And whew, two and a half hours is MUCH more manageable!
Boo for bad weather It is supposed to storm again here tomorrow. So I am wondering what they will do. It's not supposed to start until like 9 am but supposed to last until like 6pm ... Also booo for no internet. That's a pain.
I got my discussion post done. Need to do 2 replies. Also got the Animoto video whatever thing posted. Need to do 2 replies. Then I can go ahead and start reading for next week I guess as the religion class will be the same all weeks. Read chapters, do discussion, do study questions. Oh. I have about 3 more of those to answer and gotta turn it in before Sunday night
Got to do group things in a few weeks in the ECE class. That'll be fun online eyeroll we get to do a checklist on how well we think our group mates contribute or something as well for those. Yay. Not. I much prefer doing my own thing. Not that I mind working with others to come up with stuff but for grades?? I hope it goes well.
Edit Well staff email at 2pm and then parent phone calls emails and texts before 3....school is cancelled tomorrow for students and staff. Four day weekend!!!

Next week we have a three day school week, only Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday?! LOL.
Work today (for 6 hours, if I can last that long.. since I didn't go in on Tuesday), then tomorrow is Lilys birthday party!

Why are ya'll off next Friday? Our month is all whacked up. So we were off Tuesday and now today for weather, then Monday for holiday. Then NEXT Friday (not the same one as MLK week, but the one after) we have a virtual day - so most kids have a bit of online work to do or nothing at all - but of course OUR PreK kids will have to get online and do virtual school with us. This day off, that day off, oops no get on your computer ya'll :P LOL I feel like this month just needs to be over already.
On the bright side, I did get the states 1k bonus. Or $700 of it after taxes. Why is it $300 taxes? sheesh. Whatever. So neighbor is taking me to BJ's tomorrow to stock up on household supplies and Nathans drinks. Since I got a bit of extra $. Still waiting to see if we get the Jan retention bonus or if THAT was what was in the Dec paycheck. NEVER got any news about that $. But eh. Whatever.
[edit] 530pm Ok So NOW I am done with my schoolwork. All replies posted yadda yadda yadda. Finished the questions to the best of my ability (I feel I didn't quite do some of them right but oh well) and turned that in too. So this weekend will be spend reading the next bits and getting ready for other stuff. Oh and shopping :P As always.

I hear that. We went to school Monday and I was glad they cancelled school Tuesday lol. Then we went Wed and Thurs and I was very glad they cancelled today. Although the weather has been fine. Raining yea. No terrible winds or thunderstorm at all. Not for me. Dunno about the rest of the county.
It's like a teacher in-service day, but they're something different.

Really? Do you like, not have any doctors around. Goodness. Or just that is the only doctor that takes the insurance you use? Its still crazy that you can't schedule an appointment for over a year!!!
I feel ugh right now. I stayed up late reading, figured I'd sleep in a bit. The dogs whined and woke me at 4am. The big dog peed on the floor (wet spot so I'm guessing, as it was the middle of the night and her water bowl was still upright) and I stepped in it when I went to take them out. Put them back to bed and went back to bed myself and now I feel like crap. My back hurts, my head hurts. Going to take my pain medication and maybe even just take some tylenol right away to go with it. Ugh.
Hmm. Well. We have pre-planning days, (and post-planning) where we just do stuff in our rooms. We have teacher work days (those virtual days are supposed to be 1/2 that and 1/2 PL, and are, for everyone BUT PreK), we have professional learning/development days where we have to go to training classes. Pre/Post planning is for cleaning/organizing your room and lesson plans/collaboration if you have time. Teacher work days are for lesson plans, collaboration with your grade level, grading things (for the older kids), etc. and PL is PL of course, the go to class days.
No, that's a commune of like, 30 doctors so.. i don't understand!

I was miserable all day. Slept off & on all day and off & on all night. Feel a little better today but am going to try not to exert myself at all. Only spent like 2hrs out here in the living room, went back to bed after that because I was so cold and I wanted to lay down and my bed has 2 blankets. I had on socks, PJS and two blankets before I finally felt warm. At one point I wanted to sit up, so I got a third blanket to wrap around my back. I think I ate ... nothing for breakfast, just some koolaid to take my pills. Four spoons of broth from some soup for lunch. Two crackers as a snack. I felt hungry at dinner so Nathan got CFA - and I ate 5 fries and three bites of a chicken strip. :/
Oh I'm so glad Lily had a good birthday party!! Nice painting.
CRAP! I screwed my bathhouse streak yesterday. I only did a few quests on my phone because I just couldn't concentrate on it. Totally forgot the bathhouse.
