- sounds like chrome is calling home for whatever reason. shouldn't be hard to stop it, but then again, it is a browser and there may not be a way to stop it. shoot, i have no idea. lol 😂

- yes, that's always a good thing. i can't keep all the stuff straight that needs to be done with a computer to keep it safe. so, i just turn it over to my hubby when it starts acting weird. :)

Being single and sole care taker of all I surround myself with just means that much more to learn. But I like it that way. This AM I had a new hot water heater for free since the old one was not working for 3 years properly installed and that part I did pay for.

- well, being blind means that i am dependent on others for some things but i try to do as much as i can before i turn it over to someone else. there's only so much i can do since i require a screen reader to tell me what's on the computer screen and it doesn't always pick up everything that's there. That's when a set of working eyes is best. as for the new hot water heater, i bet you enjoyed a nice, long, hot shower once the water heated. :D

Actually my shower ran so hot there was hardly any cold mixing with it, now I have a low temp and it's perfect.

It's a reference to Isaac Asimov as you brought up the laws of robotics.

Long story short Asimov created the laws because he didn't like robots attacking and killing people. The only story he wrote where a robot killed a person was an accident. The robot didn't realize how hard he was hugging the person and ended up hugging him to death.

And i am not asking. They worked me hard this week, longer and extra. 2 more weeks... not working any extra or other shifts for them.. no ma'am...

Day off today and well i had time to finally do some household chores, etc. So house is clean and i slept for an hour on the couch. Upcomming week i work 5 days in a row.. but i finally will have a whole weekend off.. And then the final week.. crap work days and hours.. hoping to leave on a few days earlier that week and upcomming week as i still have over hours and vacation hours... probally not...

if they would have been fair i would not taken the job. And the culture there.. horrible.. can't understand why people do that and work there.

Went to art in the park it was fabulous and I spent too much money but bought art and toys for juniper so that is happiness for both of us. Juniper, my niece, who is three will be doing zoo classes with my mom on Tuesdays learning about animals at the zoo for an hour. She is so lucky.

I, Robot movie is fun especially with Will Smith but it really goes against everything Asimov wrote. Which is hilarious as his novel adaptation of Fantastic Voyage annoyed the studio. So, in a way, the studio got the final laugh.

And I can understand not being able to read any of his works as he can be a bit dry.
