- glad everything went well with brian. hopefully he's recovering quickly. :D
- yuck! he's composting wrong. he's not mixing it well enough... if that's what the actual problem is. 😔 happy birthday, meez! :D
Got back from vacation Saturday and took a few days to recover. It was fun and lovely, but so tiring. Mom and I drove up through the national forest to a small theme park and spent three days there with my sister, her husband, their two teens and their almost 3 year old. We took two days up and back and they did one. It is about eight hours.
Got the new games up and prizes sent. I am proud of me.
Got a huge eczema rash on my tummy. Itchy. I blame the hay fields on the trip.
Oh, I bet that was a beautiful drive! Does sound fun but tiring. :) Eczema is such a pita. I hate it. Esp combined with my psoriasis. Wow hay fields with your allergies? That would not be fun at all. Hope it goes away quickly.
He's doing well. He's moving around a lot which scares me a little as I get worried xD
Sounds like you had a fun time :)
Before my health problems, I really enjoyed hiking. I loved all the places you could only see when walking for a few hours. Even if they could be extremely tiring XD
oh cute pic!
i thought so to. But so far no more bugs.. Hope it stays that way..
I am careful. Bad thing is he feels bad when I'm exhausted and does things when I take a short nap. Or sleep at all really O.O'
I've honestly been surviving off of caffeine ever since his surgery so yeah...
Luckily he does know his limits and hasn't done anything crazy. He's mostly gone to the bathroom by himself and made bagels.
- it's good that he's moving around, even if only to use the bathroom and make a snack. take care of yourself as well or you won't be any help to brian when he needs it. :)
- my real question is what is he doing making that kind of compost on his 2nd floor balcony? does he have a container garden up there? in all the apartments i've lived in i was never allowed to make compost on my balcony. at one place we had a community garden and we were allowed to compost there, but no where else. do you have a community garden? :)
i am wondering that to... why on in a flat on a balcony? So far no maggots... -crosses fingers it stays that way-
We do have community gardens but you have to be a member as there are loads...
Anyway is it just me or is subeta acting up. Just can't login a few days or i get errors. Tried to login via chrome today and just won't load. Now i am on microsoft Edge and all is fine...
- i hope the maggots stay away, too. subeta is acting up. the food trucks appeared yesterday afternoon so today everyone is buying stuff from them. hopefully it'll calm down during the week and people will realize the food trucks aren't going to disappear tomorrow. :D
i found out i can't use the old url to acces subeta. I need to use new.subeta.net then i can acces the site. Stil very slow. Been looking at those food trucks, the prizes are no fun at all
- i didn't realize there was a new and old subeta url. i mean, way back, years ago when subeta was only a few years old the url changed because someone tried to hijack the site... my bookmarks are from that time, what i think of as the new url but you probably think of as the old one. guess i'll have to check my bookmarks to make sure they all work. :) i bought all the food the food trucks have to offer last year for my pet as she's working toward the gourmet achievement. i did get the hidden food, too. it wasn't too hard. more annoying than anything else. as for prizes, i didn't realize they gave out prizes. i thought they just sold food.
i have bought some food from the trucks but i am not liking the prizes at all.
I knew about the new url but kept using the old one. Until it just would not load anymore
Hey everyone! I've completely missed Neugarten. Ah well... We're going on holiday next week so I've been busy getting stuff done before then. I really feel like I could use some time to relax. I'm tired every day.
I one had a neighbor who had a composting bucket with worms on the 8th floor of our building. it attracted mice which also came into all the apartments around him (including ours). One of my neigbors told me she found out when she was taking care of his house while he was traveling. She threw everything out and the mice soon went away. people really shouldn't be doing that kind of stuff on their balcony.
- sorry, you mean the prices. i don't know what they are now . i didn't worry about them last year because i knew buying from the food truck was going to be a lot cheaper than buying it from user shops later. if you're not trying to get the gourmet challenge or the 3 food truck related achievements then there's no reason to buy the stuff unless you intend to resell it. :)
- i have extras of all of this year's new stuff. i'll send it over if you'd like it. :) i hope your vacation is relaxing and you're able to recharge your battery. i agree, a flat's balcony is no where to compost.
- you've probably already got them. i got them last year and my memory isn't so good so bear with me. the first one i remember is from feeding your pet food from the potato related truck. it gives you a forum title called "couch potato". the second one is from feeding your pet food from the mexican food truck. it gives you the forum title "thinks every day is taco tuesday". the third one is from feeding your pet some of the dishes from the italian food truck. a couple of the dishes required for this one, though, aren't found at the food truck. i had to buy them from user shops. no forum title or reward for this one other than the achievement itself. does any of that ring a bell? if not i'll search my achievements and see if i can find their actual titles. :D
They were here last year? I don't remember ever seeing them, but maybe I did and I didn't care. lol Already have the gourmet ach, so might not have been interested. But no, I don't have those ach. Why wouldn't all the items for a food truck ach not be on a food truck? That's just rude. lol I looked under ach and couldn't find them listed.
