as always it's leaked. Already booked my appointment to get my hair done, in 1 1/2 week.
3 day weekend! yay!
I should do the same. The hairdresser will probably be fully booked for the first weeks.
lol you should! Gloomy day here, boring. Not going into town as everything is open due protest and i betting it will be very busy
I did and the first appointment I could make was in two weeks. My hair will be very ugly by then, but I don't want to dye it myself. I also though about going into town, but I'm sure it will be very busy with people going shopping for the first time in weeks, so I'm not going. I guess I'll be playing a game. I recently bought myself a copy of roller coaster tycoon 3 with all the expensions in the Steam winter sale. I used to own the game when it just came out, so it's really nostalgic to play it again.
my hair is already drama. It's normaly nice and short. But now i am half way between short and a bit long. Can't do anything with it, using headbands and 'knipjes' as it won't stay put.
Not sure what i will do today, stay home probally
That's a really difficult length. I've had short hair a couple of times and growing it out was always very hard. I now have a long bob but it's becoming way too long without a hairdresser.
I finally got a haircut and pedicure appointment last week. The usual monthly appointment (the place is small and it's usually just me, the hair woman, and my husband) kept having to get pushed back.
The pedicures help with my tendonitis. That massage does wonders for my feet XD
well i am deciding to let my hair be a bit longer as it's driving me nuts that the salons are closed most of the times.
I wanted a haircut last month but due to lockdown i could not...
Oh a pedicure haven't had one for ages. They where also closed due to lockdown
I don't think I ever got pedicure. I do get my hair dyed every six weeks. My next appointment is 12 weeks after my last, due to lockdown, so it looks very bad right now.
Just keep going, it will be long eventually.
Due to Covid I'm getting my hair cut shorter than before. So if I have to go a few months without a haircut again I won't be eating my hair with every meal XD
it will be but it needs a haircut first as now there is no model in it.
i did that, done it and to long now lol!
waves How's your week going? I've decided to start a diet, because we just got a new video door bell and I've been watching myself coming in the house and didn't like how I look at all. I've gained so much way the last two years. Working from home has me eating more and moving less. The past two days I've been very hungry and cranky but today is the first day I actually don't feel that hungry in the morning.
working, workig and online meetings. Been so busy, need a dsy off, tomorrow. Good luck with your diet
It's been a stressful week. Place I rent my house from is going to inspect it either today or tomorrow. If tomorrow then Brian will have to stay home and I go to a vet visit for our birds. We both don't trust the people here with free reign over the house.
Good luck with the diet! I need to lose some weight so trying to snack less. Not a huge weight gain but enough to make me want to stop before I start to be heavier.
Enjoy your day off!
Is it just a regular inspection or does it have a special reason? I don't like to have strangers in my home as well. With the diet I'm now planning everything I eat on that day in the morning. It takes away the impulsive eating I'm so very used to. I eat when I'm bored and I've been bored a lot in all the lock downs. Now I can't anymore because I have to stick to my plan. I have no idea how long it will be before I fall off the wagon though... lol!
2 days off in fact lol!
Brr cold outside just got home from trowing away the trash and supermarket. Glad to home where it;s warm.
So waithing for the BOOS program to air on youtube i (and rest of NL) really want to know all the drama at the Voice
I haven't seen the BOOS program yet, I will probably watch it this weekend. I had my first choir practice after the lockdown yesterday :) I really missed it.
saw it and i have no words for it... horrible. how was your practice?
So where is everyone?
hey all! :) how's it going? i hope everyone is having a good 2022 so far. i'm sorry but i don't remember where all the conversations i was having left off. so forgive me if i miss something important. :)
- did the company ever get back to you about that rash? when yu get your hair done are you going to have them color it? what color?
- how's the job search going? and what color are you going to dye your hair? good luck with the diet. everytime i try one it fails miserably. so i just try to eat healthy all the time. it doesn't always work. darned cheesecake...
- how are jora and navi? no more eggs i hope. do you get your hair colored when you get it cut? what color?
as for me, the last 2 weeks have been ... a kick in the pants. my right ankle is healed up but still a bit weak but that didn't stop me from passing out due to low blood sugar and hyperextending my left ankle. when it happened hubby said it sounded just like when he's boning a chicken thigh and he has to pop the joint to get the bones out.today is the first day i've been allowed up to use my laptop. i wasn't happy because i lost a 156 day run in the bathhouse. and no one can figure out why my blood sugar crashed. i hate it when this hinky stuff happens because hubby gets paranoid and turns into a health care autocrat and i'm not allowed to do anything my doc doesn't specifically say i can do. plus, because this is the third or fourth incident involving me walking they're now talking about having me do more physical therapy to assess if i can walk unaided or if i need a cane, walker, or wheelchair. so, i'm not happy. i know they have my best interests at heart but it's a pain in the rear to deal with.
anyone know when survival starts?
I saw BOOS today as well. It's really horrible and I hope the victims will get justice. At the choir practice we were only with 5 people (out of the 15 we're normally with). Some people had covid or covid in their families, others were tired from work because too many colleagues have covid.
I talked to one more recruiter, but the job was more of a sales job then an actual IT analyst job, so I didn't continue with it. The diet is still hard. I'm slowly getting used to eating less, but I still feel hungry and irritable from time to time.
